Testing out the new 2024 Sherco 300 2 stroke, not much differences but i feel more comfortable with my own levers, bars, gearing and tyre setups :) very happy it is still carby :)
Tim Coleman is a young Aussie hard enduro rider who runs enduro coaching across the country, as well as a stunt shows on his trials bike and a Sherco 300SE Factory. Like any top extreme enduro rider, Tim Coleman comes from an expert level trials background and does plenty of trick riding on dirt bikes, as well as dir bike coaching. Tim Coleman plans to fly out from Australia and ride hard enduro events like Romaniacs and the Red Bull Sea to Sky on his Sherco 300 SE because he has applied his trials riding to extreme enduro technique.

Only thing in this video I can do as good as Tim.....stall the bike!
Maybe , but he has mastered restarting it. So maybe you’re wrong lol.
@@thomastjg53 I can start it just as quickly also, but that’s where the contest ends!
I’ve got inappropriate stalling down to a science. 😭
Making it look easy 👌
Awsome spot wow
Engine sounds very crisp and responsive right off the bottom!
Mann you make it look so easy, great that you're back in good shape after that nasty injury
Thanks mate
Tim is showing us that with very minor personalization these bikes are good enough for him so what can the ordinary people complain about.
Beta Xtrainer, year 2023, is also good for me. My first hard enduro motorcycle and currently 18 hours on it. It is true that not even 10 hours had passed when I decided to change the suspension.
Sweet, some morning goodness. Great start to the day.
To have that level of bike control…..
Hey Tim,
Will you be putting in the diaphragm clutch?
I have not tried yet, i am keen to see the differences, i do like the stock one but i will give it a go :)
stalls a lot at low rpm, I found the same when I test rode the 2023 300. I felt like the clutch was dragging
Definitely need to change the gearing, that will make all the difference and re jet it :)
@@timmycoolman56 12/50?
@@tomzombie I usually go 13 51
Tim, you should find somebody close in skills and do a bike ballet with music on Grand Final opening. Then go touring the world
Nice bike.
Fun stuff!
You look a little rusty out there Tim , just put the time in fella you will get there. 😂
I ride like that. In my dreams.
Any difference with this new model lighter swing arm compared ,say 22 model
That’s about all the noticeable difference, it’s slightly lighter. Not real noticeable when you ride
Tim! do you change something in your bikes clutch?
Hey mate just stock standard clutch.
I do change my levels to make the clutch pull feel a little lighter
I use a brand called Zeta, if you want to make your clutch lighter also you can add some thicker washers on the clutch springs
Stock jetting?
Yep still stock, will need to re jet it for better fuel economy and little less rich
Another bike with a carb😢
I’ll take a carb over fuel injection on a two stroke any day. Especially Smart Carbs.
It’s nice to be able to choose your own pre mix ratio .
@@TheKitchenTechnician You are a wise man and im sending you over to the rotting pumpkins to teach them not to be the worst engineered pos people spend there hard earned money on
