    I’m 70 years old. Been following you for a couple of months. Your core advice is incredible. And like you say patience patience patience. doing things that people 35 years younger than me can’t do.

    Adam, your videos are great: honest, informative, and very helpful for aspiring gymnasts and calisthenics athletes. I just started watching your channel this week and I think I’ve watched over 30 videos so far. I’m looking forward to more quality content, as well as joining the Gymnastics Method program.

    You've just corrected a complete misunderstanding I've been carrying around my whole life about abdominal muscle contractions. Truly my neuro-muscular connections are oftentimes the exact opposite of what they should be. How I've survived as long as I have is a mystery.
    Actually, it isn't. Because I've lived with a degree of pain for quite some years. Thank you!

    Sir, I have had problems with core exercises due to piriformis syndrome. I feel a sharp pain in the left glut and it affects the whole nerve all the way down. How can I fix this?

      I usually lay myself down with my butt as close to a wall as possible and my legs straight up against the wall.

    So when you say "squeeze your core" for push ups it's not the same as for rows, right? Since for push ups you need hollow body and rows it's more of a superman position (like for pull ups)?

    Sir, I already held my v-sit yesterday over 90degree angle but I couldn't hold it long enough, what are the things should I do to hold v-sit longer?my pikecake perfect I can kiss the floor and kiss my knee while stand.

    • @GymnasticsMethod
      @GymnasticsMethod  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Same thing I answered to do with the handstand. Once you have something, like the V-sit for a few seconds, you just need to stick to the basics and do your best with the actuaal exercises for specificity, and try to increase the time step-by-step. It’ s patience game. For example, I could do 5 sec front lever hold for like 2 years then I went back to basics, dragon flag hold with some weights and after that it improved.
