Because he speak the truth, and not what people want to hear. Most people want an easy and fast way, although the reality is, this type exercise is a long journey to master. Even the basic take time to learning it perfectly, or correctly. 😅
Great video. Adam. I also know this by another name. The Archer squat. When I perform this, I noticed I have an imbalance with my ankle and knee flexibility. My left ankle is not as flexible and my left knee is not as strong. I notice this also when I perform an assisted pistol squat. I can squat on my right side to 16 inches above ground, but on the left at 19 inches. Old injuries age 10, 23, 37, and 58. 3 times left ankle one time split cartilage in my left knee. Also broken right leg aged 19. Fractured right arm age 12. Boys will be boys.
Okay this one particular excercise is amazing. I've tried it but I have a problem with my left leg, specifically the lower area of hamstring right above the back of my knee. That pain while stretching it which remains for 3 days after workout. Right leg is okay no pain. Is that a bad sign? Injury? Should I do that workout once a week only to avoid overstretching/overtraining? Or it's better to do it on daily basis? Thanks in advance
Definitely no need for daily basis. You’re probably just tighter there. Do it with caution and it will improve. 3x a week max with rest days in between.
