Pretty great list that I heavily agree with, love the your thoughts and explanations as well especially on comparing some character choices! as someone that already has all the meta Caster options + Miss Crane, I went for Izumo-no-Okuni in that slot and ended up getting her since I lack an SSR ST Caster + I enjoy the GudaGuda cast. NP2 Castoria is an immensely powerful choice too though for those who don't have that

But it's Artoria in a swimsuit and I can't deny the appeal. Think the toughest one for me to decide was Rider. I have Reines (love Reines) but honestly the rest of the class is "eh, ok" to me. Extra classes are kind of the opposite with too many good options for only 2 slots!

I went Holmes just because he is unique for the ignore defense, but it didn't matter since I didn't get him I got Umu bride since my Castoria is nearing bond 15. Most of my picks matched up to your recommendations or honorable mentions though as it turns out. Didn't pick Melu because my Eresh is NP5 2K fou'ed 120 so I went Scathach, went Murasaki for caster utility over Crane since I have the meta supports, zerk I went Kintoki for the multicore, and archer I have a gluttony of archers so just went Squirtoria for another NP copy though Super Orion was definitely a pick I could have made. Maybe this sort of video would be good recommending who is best in each role whether it's ST, AOE, or support depending on account needs. Though that would make it even longer.

I got King Protea and I am satisfied. Would have preferred Nero Bride, but I like King Protea and her play style. Just absorb all the hits! She is also my first 5 star Alter Ego.

Damn I was really thinking Ibuki would be at least a secondary consideration. Ignore invul and defense with triple buster, big battery, powerful crits and easy looping.
To be fair, there is no shortage of AOE sabers in the game. So i do like the approach of plushie. Looking at more „casual“ approaches and recommending strong single target units for bosses. I love ibuki, but you kind of do need her at np2 to hit super hard in farming. Her buster down can ramp up dmg against bosses, but it also can very well miss (happened to me so many times). In comparison to that, musashi is probably the more consistent pick, especially with her upgraded NP
@@t_raywen8750 Oh I wasn't implying she should be the main consideration, but at least like a 2nd or 3rd pick that ought to be mentioned alongside Musashi. Very newbie friendly gameplay that scales well into the future if you invest into her further.

Got summer musashi and naturally she was one of my two least desired outcomes. Not saying she's bad, but I had other servants I would have liked to get much more, especially in terms of gameplay value... oh well it's not like I expected to get lucky with my gssrs anyway 😂

IMO, S. Musashi’s quality is a bit understated. I understand that she’s still not “as good” as the other berserkers ahead of her, but she’s definitely not just there to spam her NP(though she is damn good at it) I know that this goes for most arts servants, but she really is surprisingly tanky with a non-invincible castoria team. She has a low cooldown evade and a guts, + the two invuls from Cas + the solemn defense and she also has the crit down on her highly spammable NP. I have had boss runs where she’s survived 5 - 6 turns with 1 HP, while NPing every single turn. She kind of dicks on most bosses and CQs.
It's funny to see guides to this, since it's so tactically simple compared to GSSR. With GSSR you've got to weigh how much you like the top end servants against how much you dislike the low end servants, taking into consideration the size of the pool and the opportunity cost of passing on the other banners. With destiny it's just "pick your favorite in every category, hope your most favoritest is the one that shows up."
I got Himiko, who was not even in my top 5 wants, especially because I have a lot of Buster supports already, but no harm in having another I guess. But some of my biggest Buster units are nearing Bond 10 and I like to put aside Servants once I hit that milestone and use other ones.

Thanks for the video! Still not sure if I'll actually do it, but it was helpful regardless, especially in regards to Archer and Extra 2 (did not realize just how useful Douman was). A bit of feedback, could you consistently give a 2nd and/or 3rd choice for all your picks? You usually mentioned them in passing and it's easy enough to infer, but in cases where someone already has the 1st pick it would be helpful. For example, for Assassin I already have Kama and Gramps, and for Rider while I was already going to get Reines due to missing her (ran out of SQ on her banners without getting her) but if I did already have her no other alternative was suggested.

summer 7 has a damage bonus CE so id just use that since its not an infinite farming event i suggest making your life easier. 90++ is more AP efficient
So.. this year has been horrible while last year I got 10 ssr without paying.. But my luck is slowly getting better. Got acru after 3 multi pulls, and got Super Orion and Castoria from destiny and gssr and they're the one that I want! I still have around 500 sq so hopefully the luck will continue to summer banners :(

I'm not sure who to pick for Saber. I have most at NP1, but the only Saber I ever use is NP2 Dioscuri for the Ignore Defense and Ignore Invul. So, I'm leaning toward NP1 Ibuki because she also has the combo of Ignore Defense and Ignore Invul. Is there someone head and shoulders above everyone else? For Berserkers, is it better to get NP3 Morgan or NP1 Musashi? I'd just end up grailing Morgan from 100 to 106. If I want an arts looper, I'll just use my NP3 120 Spishtar. Is NP1 Musashi better than that in JP?

She's really great! She carried me in jp when I was new in it. I'd say she's like a buster version of musashi

Single target sabers are dime a dozen. Saito easier to use, survives longer. Ibukis invuln pierce tied to NP is huge. I would have musashi like 4th

But my luck is slowly getting better. Got acru after 3 multi pulls, and got Super Orion and Castoria from destiny and gssr and they're the one that I want! I still have around 500 sq so hopefully the luck will continue to summer banners :(

I'm not sure who to pick for Saber. I have most at NP1, but the only Saber I ever use is NP2 Dioscuri for the Ignore Defense and Ignore Invul. So, I'm leaning toward NP1 Ibuki because she also has the combo of Ignore Defense and Ignore Invul. Is there someone head and shoulders above everyone else?
For Berserkers, is it better to get NP3 Morgan or NP1 Musashi? I'd just end up grailing Morgan from 100 to 106. If I want an arts looper, I'll just use my NP3 120 Spishtar. Is NP1 Musashi better than that in JP?
