you can converts all the tokens for cert, the game automatically not convert the tokens that you need for full pot. you can count by yourself if not sure.

*Quote marks because you do need 300 pulls to get the rate-up 5 stars but if get said rate-up servant early, you lost that pity. There's not even a soft pity so you can spend a whole lot of SQ for NP2 and still didn't get it. It's literally for one copy, and the how it works is horrendous.
@@rudisseptian7818 Let me guess, is it Castoria? I save to almost 1000SQs for her and i got ZERO 5 stars, ZERO! I was devastated and not able to play for a week. I was happy spending on GSSR but i never will to spend on no pity. And now the game is basically shafted by Castoria, Arts Loop all the way, and I just here start to reading stories and ignore the farming.
While with FGO i also play other game like Azur Lane, Arknights, Princess Connect, and tried many new games, i start exploring any new gacha game and honestly exciting to see how a new gacha game making every innovations possible left and right. I love it.
@@rudisseptian7818 plus, almost all Banner are limited Banner so for F2P player, it's impossible to pull for the sake of collecting character, you pretty much pull for the character that you like, and even then, in FGO there are no pity, you basically have to learn to accept the "Fate" I guess lol

Well he ain't wrong. In FGO, luck is the strongest commodity. A 1000 sqs could either give you everything you want and more or the worst possible scenario of getting nothing. That's how painful it is there.

I have whaled a bit in FGO and I have yet to get 1 unregistered spirit summon, let alone 10 of them. Drake is my only 5* servant that is NP5. I may have whaled a bit for her on her initial banner, but all the other copies were spooks. The next ones in line would be Tamamo and Melt at NP3. Tamamo normally spooked me with the GSSR and rolling for Merlin. Melt NP3 came because she didnt want me to NP2 KP when I was trying to NP2 both KP and Melt. Melt just showed up 2 extra times.

Can't judge him, hats off. Started playing AK on global release, and simping on regular Nearl since then. Near Light's NTR Knight was just the horsegasm.
AK's gacha is one of the big gacha game that actually balance between luck and money to get what you want. FGO literally burned the player's money, their gacha rely on the luck/rng so bad. Genshin made luck the second option, with the guaranteed system/etc, spending is easier and preferable because you will get what you want as long as you spend those currencies (irl/in-game)
AK has will reward luck especially in non-limited banners and reward spenders in the limited banners (because you can spark). Even if they don't reward luck in the non-limited banner players might be able to get it again on the standard rate up banner whereas the other two games forced the players to wait for the characters rate up again.
AK's gacha is not "better" because they are more generous in the rate compared to the other games. It's how they balance between spending irl and rng luck, that is what I like.

@@sirchaotic1212 Just for comparison, with monthly card and no refreshes alongside never capping in sanity, it took me almost exactly 2 years to reach lvl 120.
One benefit of being FGO players: we act like a tolerant saint outside of the gacha hell. We almost never question or bad mouth other gacha games that we play. Because almost every other gacha games out there look generous and reasonable to us lmao.
We've already seen hell. So everything else are like a blessing from heaven for us. And if a whale escape or take a walk from it, they will be too OP for this world to stop
Lmao true I've played fgo for almost 6 year and I can guaranteed that I even prepare spark 300 pull for skalter which dodge my summon last year because I've experienced fgo gacha hell that even in arknights I can't believe my luck itself so I need prepared spark because I can see the worst case scenario which is true since skalter need sparked because 300 pull and she's still don't show up😂

But someone is going to say "how about USO ?, isn't that a pity system" or "you just need to save 900 SQ", it's nothing generous and it is designed that way so you can spend more and thus profit.

I mean, I remember Kanae (one of the biggest male Vtubers, from Nijisanji) pulling in Genshin and even throw in more pulls after he already max pot the banner 6 star (I think it was Zhong Li, there is absolutely no reason to pull after max potting a banner unit in Genshin), just throwing a comment that he still has more of his 10k 'allowance' for Genshin to throw at it anyway.
Also, just to remind people, different people value money differently, I remember an interview with a businessman they asked why he spends thousands per month on games, and he just said that it was the cheaper alternative compared to what he would do otherwise.

I think the reason AK feels "generous" or "F2P-friendly" is not because it gives you X free pulls or Y pity, because those numbers can always be inflated, but because it doesn't go out of its way to manufacture discontent. There is always something to do, some feature to enjoy, whether you're new, veteran, F2P, or whale. Out of sanity? You can play IS2 or the CC training maps, so you aren't too pressured to spend OP refreshing. Struggling with a stage? You can always try a different strategy, and be confident that it's possible with free units given by the game; there's no pressure to pay just so you can progress, and many events can't even be unga bunga'd through with meta units anyway, so there's even less incentive. Didn't get a character on their release banner? They'll get other rate-ups, enter the gold certificate shop, or spook you later. Didn't have time to play an event? It'll rerun or get archived.
There's still some degree of FOMO, unavoidable in this industry (sigh), but AK actually seems to be trying to minimise it, and I have felt far less stifled/frustrated/anxious without spending compared to some other service-based games I've tried. Then, if you do want to pay some money into the game, you'll find a selection of packs that are genuinely good value and feel rewarding to purchase - like you're getting your money's worth in enjoyment/entertainment value - unlike some gachas that are so stingy with the packs you feel like you're just throwing your money away. Like you guys touched on in the video, it's rewarding to just spend a few dollars a month, and it's also rewarding to spend hundreds. There's still some majorly noticeable downsides, like the lack of character guarantee being very punishing for collectors who want to get All The Units, and some QOL drawbacks like obfuscated enemy/event mechanics, so it's not a perfect game, but I have found the overall experience to be satisfying and easy to scale based on how much time you want to commit to the game (so it can be played casually OR as a main game), and on top of that just being plain Fun and Pretty.
Kukki, you always describe AK as a sandbox-y game, and it's honestly true; ask people what the "endgame" is in AK and it's usually "when you can already beat all the stages so you have to start thinking up ways to make the game harder". That's definitely one of its strengths, as being so open-ended allows for a smoother and more customisable experience, where it's equally fun/rewarding whether you don't spend a cent or whether you sink thousands of dollars into the game.

In FGO, I only got two 5* (both off rate and one of them is pretty useless) in half a year of playing (also i got one from free selector)
FGO is all about luck. My first two year of playing it was hell with only 1 SSR per year lol (I started to play around a month after NA server was released). All got better from my third year when I got a bunch of SSR from random yolo single pulls as I stopped to believe in saving. And my luck is still good until now with exactly 30 SSR sitting in my disposal. 100% f2p btw lmao. Tho I almost stop being one if not because google refuse to take my money because of region reason.

As much as I love FGO AK is really generous on stuffs and it just encourage me to save orundums to obtain the 6star that I plan to get limited or not, and you can get the other 6star ops through recruitment and cert shop anyways so its very f2p friendly imo since even low rarity ones are pretty useful and carry your ass. I think if I'll have the money to whale on a gacha I'll choose AK than any other gachas as its pretty much a win-win when gachaing in AK imo.
The gacha in this game is really nice for the ones that can consistently win the 50/50 otherwise it's super frustrating getting off-rate over and over again lol.

What makes this roll amazing and me envious, is the lack of off banner pulls. I nearly had to spark Skadi Alter I was off by about 10 rolls before getting her and I ended up getting pot 5 Kal on that banner. I actually had to spark Chen Alter because the game kept giving me off banner spooks and a pot 2 Mizuki.

To be honest, leviathan don't always think about the game quality that much. Now this only applies to some people and not all leviathans, some spend just for the sake of spending, while some spend while thinking about the game. (Saying this as someone who has spent more than 9k on genshin, so ik how some whales behave). But yeah, arknights is a really good game

That how skadi alter might actually be real, and not from different timeline as many believed.
I think it's just that the timeline is confusing, which is why many doctors think it is not real timeline skadi.
Her onboard lines might actually be the final ending for Skadi (After the whole Seaborn is solved), and perhaps far2 in the future.

This does not match any point of Skadi storyline as far as CN and EN had known, which made the point. Why is she waiting and how long exactly? Where is "here"? Definitely not at RhodesIsland since the Doctor had to go and meet her.
It somehow reminds me of a scene from war stories, where the heroine waited for hero to return from wars, in the final scene where they are finally reunited (After the war is over).

I'm not a die hard spender like this guy but I did spent a good amount of money for sure ($2.3k+ over the 3 years of playing)! Man if I was rich I wouldn't had problem buying 3k OP in one go at least.

FACT: Ak is one of the few live service games that where the gap between F2P players and paying players isn't immediately noticeable as there's very little that is paywalled. Skins, even those with L2D, special VFX and new voicelines can be obtained just by playing a few missions for some OP, there's no battlepass to miss out anything from skins or furniture or icons etc. Duplicates aren't significant power spikes for 99% of players and cases so there's barely any pressure to get multiple copies of a unit. They literally give out the ultra-premium currency freely for every new stage you play along with a sprinkle here and there from login events and stuff.
Few gachas feel as comfy as Ak's economy imho. Their generosity is why it's the only gacha I've spent in so far. It feels so worth it even if I only spent a little but even aside from the game, they constantly churn out banger music, got a solid anime so far, have a few mangas too.

Buying character in shop with certificates. And getting 6* in recruitment.
I just play AK for almost a year and as someone with so-so to shit luck, honestly it's a big blessing for me. I'm buying so many meta in shop, SilverAsh, Thorns, Saria, Eyjafjalla to help me to clear stages. Top operator tag maybe something so rare, but it's still surprise me you can get *6 via basically free pull. I play other gacha game but honestly no other gacha as generous as this with their shop/'free pull'. There is no way you can just buy 'meta' unit that easy, you don't even need money! You just need to wait and saving the certificates.

I think noticeable *6 I get is Ifrit and Blaze (just recently getting her), and bunch other *6 too. Also I get my fave character Mostima (people shit on her but I really loves her character) from recruitment.
Also this also the reason I feel AK is really... Newbie friendly in a sense? Like maybe I miss so many limited but the operators in standard banner is meta enough, and actually you don't need limited to clear the game (albeit harder). And you can always just borrow if you need specific limited operator for example chalter.
Like I only play one year but I feel can the gap isn't that far with my friend who already play from year one. They have much more operators indeed, but my roster already strong enough to tackle the game.
Spending can be satisfying but I learned that the more you spend the shorter is your enjoyment of the game.
The anticipation and excitement when slowly working towards a goal is like waiting for Christmas.
Every game where I overspent it became nothing more than a checklist, almost a chore to continue playing.

Goddamn I played AK in March this year and he is already at 120 lvl while I'm at 85 still
i spent around 1500 in total since AK starts. i have all the 6 star operator. the only operator that i dont have right now is iris, for some reason he keeps evading me. some of the 6 stars pot 3-4. bagpipe and hoshi is full pot. AK is quite generous compared to other gacha, of course its still a game that tries to make money out of you but compared to the others its a saint.

I've been playing FGO for almost 5 years now. Haven't spent a single penny on the game because money isn't the roll currency, luck is. You could have enough for only one roll and you'd get the rate up and you could also have 1000 pulls.and not get a single SSR. AK is the first gacha game I've spent money on, and I don't regret it one bit.

as a F2P player in AK, I def feel Arknights is way more generous to me than other gatcha games I've ever played, it's one of the reasons I've stuck around. Second is because there is so much art that's.. actually super easy to obtain. (Also, there is fairness and lots of guys to pull than just a flood of girls...)
I now feel thankful I got all 4 limited in 200 pulls.
I actually got 4 times back to back, it was 40-70th each of 10s gave me a 6* spalter, irene, spalter, irene, then no luck until like 150 or 170
I'm pretty much in end game and I'm a dolphin of a year and a half. 6* recruitment voucher and Monthly card for the most part.
My friend got the entire banner(all limited) in 295 pulls with full pot specter alter.
I don't know how it's possible man.
