Thank you! I am headed to Italy for the first time in July. This video is great, I like that you actually take us from getting off the the plane to the travel options to get to Rome. I now know that a taxi is the best option for me, my wife, and my daughter. I like that you showed exactly how to get a legitimate taxi Also, thanks for letting me know that you do not have to tip and that you should have the exact fare. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Your videos are very helpful!!!!
Thanks for the information . I will be landing in Rome on November 5th. And my hotel is near the Roma - Aurelia train station. What would be the cheapest way to get there ?
Hi. On the Trenitalia site, they show a train from the airport to the Rome-Trastevere station with a connecting train to Rome-Aurelia once an hour at 12 minutes past. Cost is €8. I hope that helps.
Thanks! Great question. I think 4 people, but there might not be enough room for luggage for 4. I’m not completely sure. Also, I think there are different sized taxis.
I don’t see Papaya, but check this link. www.rome2rio.com/s/Rome-Airport-FCO/Rome-on-the-beach-Lido-di-Ostia#:~:text=Is%20there%20a%20direct%20bus,journey%20takes%20approximately%2030%20min.
@@OurBigItalianAdventure Thank you, just wondering how to find the bus number, that website gives stops #, (Fiumicino | Aeroporto (Terminal 1) # F10921).
Yes. I don’t see a bus number, either. But I’d just show up at the times given. They’ll be someone at the airport to ask if it’s not clear. From the name of the bus company Cotral, I’d guess it’s a public bus line.
Actually, there is also another option for the train, there is not only Leonardo express train, but also another regular train, stopping at roma Trastevere, roma ostiense, roma tuscolana and roma tiburtina (and many others). It costs 8 euros.

Thank you for this very thorough video. This is extremely helpful. Do you know if there are big Taxis at FCO that can fit 4 people and 4 big luggages? I saw most taxi look small to fit 4 big luggages in this video.
Thanks, straight to the point, clear this is all what I need ! Great Job.
Thanks!
I'm scared, it's a maze.
Thank you ❤
It won’t be a problem. Enjoy your trip!

Thank you for this - I will be doing exactly this next month :)
Great! Glad it was helpful.
Thank you for the video. Can you pay by Credit Card for the buses?
I’m almost certain that you can, but not 100%. Maybe 99.5%.
thank you for sharing
My pleasure

Thanks! That’s great information for someone not wanting to go near Termini.
Question regarding taking the $50 flat fee taxi from the airport... do they charge extra if you need to put your bag(s) in the trunk? Thank you again!
The answer is that they don’t charge any extra. Last time we had two bags and two backpacks which all went into the trunk. Total trip €50.
@@OurBigItalianAdventure Grazie mille! (side note... your learn Italian video has inspired me and my wife to study Italian)

I’m not sure. You might want to arrange a limo for that.
