Spent a month in Italy and got home back by Fuimicino. It's really a huge airport requires at least an hour walking through the shopes to get the express that takes you to the lounge.

Dude! Finally someone actually mentions the other Fiumicino train that goes to Ostiense! When I visit Rome I usually stay on the coast, so I normally take the Ostiense train and walk on over to Porta San Paolo to transfer to the beach train.

I came through Ciampino and for value to rome €1.50 to Ciampino train station then €1.20 to Roma Termini. And My hotel was just out the right hand side of the staion. Talk about convenient. I can't wait to go again.

Is it really leaving every 30 minutes? What's the name of the bus? Can you pay card on it?
@@theSupercasa You can buy a train ticket at the trenitalia booth just as you go out of the terminal. The person there should know which bus it was. I think the bus was cash only. It's better to pay cash in rome after all you need coins to throw into the Trevi fountain plus donations when you visit the many beautiful churches there.. Also if you're there on the first sunday of the month all museums are free.😄

We couldn’t figure out how to use the trains AT ALL! And it was also really quiet! Was weird. So we just walked outside, found a red bus and made our way in that way. No one ever asked us for bus tickets and we were told it was free after the fact. Again, weird! Still one of the most incredible cities ever 🥰

I can almost taste the Pizzas and Gelato and cannot wait to walk around in Piazza Cavour and just chill out in the garden and watch the cute doggies play , drink the fresh sweet water from the fountain and then catch my bus no 91 to Balduina Bittossi..... siigh . Sipping on Hollandia Beer which I use to buy from the Real Supermarket...... I love you my Italian Family and friends . I love Italy 🇮🇹

You can transfer from Ciampino to center and piad 1,50 euro by taking 520/720 bus and then metro, and you reccomend 50 euro taxi xDD Yeah pretty decent option

Hi. Thanks for your video. Can you help me out? My backhome flight is 06:45 am. From Rome hotel to the Rome airport. What do you suggest as the best way to go to the airport, since I´ll need to be there very soon?
You could reserve a Taxi but if you are looking for a cheaper way, you can get a Cotral bus from Termini Station (the first one will departs at 4:35 on Sunday even earlier). You can look the timetable on this site servizi.cotralspa.it/orari
The cheap regional train does NOT stop at termini. It stops at trastevere, ostiense, tuscolana and tirbutina.

Hi. Thx for the info. I have carry-on size & weight requirement question. In one leg of the trip, I will fly from Paris to Italy and read that they only allow luggage to weigh 17 lbs and in some small size. Is that true or only on realy budget airline ( like which airline?). Dp they weigh carry-on ? What size do you suggest because my initial flight, the airline allows for a bigger carry-on and wt. and don't want to get in trouble on the paris-rome flight. Thanks.
Always go with the information on the website of the airline you are flying. The answers are there.

Is it possible to get in & out from a train with the same Ticket. For example: From Airport to Ostiense & then to Saint Pierre? Or do I need two tickets?

My flight will arrive in Rome Airport at 11.35pm. Will there still be train to Termini during this time? I belive we arrive at Saturday night might be till Sunday midnight. No check in luggage.

Ehh in google maps say there's a 11.53 last trip for train, but in some articles I read they say it run till 01.30am during weekends and holidays, in airport website say till 11.30pm. So I don't know which to believe 😅 If the 11.53 is true, I doubt I can reach that with the plane arriving at 11.35 pm despite no check in luggage 😅
By the way this trip will still be in October 😅

Ask if you can pay by credit cards before getting in. Most accept credit cards

Not true. We rode the train dozens of times last year to/from the airport. Never an issue.
