Hey dude! Great vid. I was contemplating purchasing a .8 nozzle for my P1S. However, I sliced a large object I wanted to print and noticed how much MORE filament it uses to print the same object even at the same layer height vs a .4 nozzle. All other settings remaining the same it would print almost twice as fast but increased filament use almost 45%! Have you noticed this as well? I assumed larger nozzle also meant less filament but it doesn't seem to be case for me.
Hi! thanks for your comment! Of course, it always depends on how many wall lines and infill you use. The standard 0.4mm nozzle has a layer width of 0.42mm. one probably 2 wall lines. That would be a 0.84mm thick wall. If you use 2 wall lines with the 0.8mm nozzle, your wall will be twice as thick. So of course you use more filament. The standard profiles for different nozzle sizes look very similar. but in the end they are not. I hope I could help you.
Hello. I have 1 question about Bambu Studios - maybe you will be able to help me. I was trying to add a simple, plain circle to Bambu Studios to print a coin but in bugger size (10cm diameter). And when I upload the .svg file to Slicer I can see that the edge of the coin is not fully rounded - you can see the small walls that make up the circle. I tried uploading few different circle .svg files that are 100% circles and in Bambiu Slicer the walls & small edges appear. The question is: Is this normal that the Slicer shows these walls and not fully plain edge of the circle - but it will print it as a plain circle? Or should I do some editing within the slicer to make it disappear? Sorry to ask, my printer will come in a month from now and Im already trying to get some first models done and learn some about Bambu Slicer. Thank you in advance and Happy New Year! :)
Hello Adrian, I would be happy to try to help you. What program did you use to create the coin? If the curve of the coin is too angular, it is probably because you issued it with too little detail. You can certainly set the accuracy of the output in the program in which you created the coin. bambu studio displays the file as the file is. The problem is certainly not in Bambu Studio. 🙂 Thank you! Happy new year! 🙂
Hello I was inquiring if you offer prototyping service's? I want to prototype for me a product with the bambu Lab printer which I don't have currently.
@@theguystaringatyou2197 it does but it's hard finding someone with the bambu lab printer, I want one with a bambu lab printer to see how my products will come out when I get one.
Hello, thanks for your comment. I'm happy to help you. 🙂 I'm setting up an email address for inquiries. As soon as it's active, I'll add it to my channel.
btw i just learned that if you were to choose the other time-lapse option where it doesn’t care where the camera is during the video, the print time would have been even faster

0.8mm layer hight or nozzle diameter?
0.8mm nozzle diameter, 0.56mm Layer hight 🙂
Nice how long did it take
thank you, it takes about 4h and 30min 🙂
Does it retain water?
The vase in the video is not waterproof. it is only intended for dried flowers. To get them tight, you should print with more wall thickness.

fiverr has many people willing to do prototyping services if you want to commission there instead

build time?
It prints the vase in about 6h

@@zrex66 exactly, that's right. I chose the fast version of the time lapse. The slow/smooth version is unsuitable for vase mode. 🙂
