Hey I just found your channel and I love how you show off some modded sc2 stuff, since its pretty hard to come by on youtube for whatever reason. I also saw you also showcased some races from the TUMOE mod. It would be super awesome to see you do a video on a matchup with the paramilitary faction, it is currently my favorite one and it has some super neat characteristics that could make a cool video! (Also I just wanna see how some other people use the race cuz I have zero idea how to use it properly yet)
Welcome to the channel, I'm glad you're enjoying the content! When I shifted towards modded SC2 I was surprised we don't see it as often coming from the bigger SC TH-camrs our there. I just learned about the TUMOE mod a couple months ago! I'll see about getting a game featuring the paramilitary faction. If you have any replays of your own with that one please feel free to send it my way!
My opinion is that this would work much better on WC3 maps becouse of neutral camps, items and Tavern. Then you give SC players heroes, probably something like Rynor, Rosa, Tosh and Tychus for Terran, Kerrigan, Dehaka, Abathur and Zagara for Zerg and Artanis, Alarac, Tassadar and Zeratul for Protoss
Warcraft units might be overtuned stats wise, but they seem weak to mass shooting early game (especially over cliffs), before they get critical mass. Blink stalkers looked strong, and I think Terran would stomp Human and Orc early. I think Heroes need less stat scaling on later levels.
WC3 is supposed to have a tax system based on how large the armies are. In Reign of Chaos 90 is your max supply. In Frozen Throne 100 is your max supply. I figured the balance of the mod would go beyond the constraints of WC3 itself since ROC/TFT focuses on power scaling between small armies and heroes versus large armies/fleets in SC2. I'm curious as to how the mod will incorporate mercenary heroes because that adds on to each of the WC3's four core heroes per faction.
I have to double check but I think the modders incorporated adding heroes to a version of this mod for the SC2 races, I'll explore and see what I can find!

@@jayedson3408 About the only viable solution to an army on the go, but still vulnerable to quick moving units like zerglings. Have to react fast and drop those bodies before the wagon falls.
If you're having trouble with calling humans "terran" just remember that Terra is another name used for Earth, so technically they're Terrans as well as us Edit: Kajind was attacking a stalker with no shields, I imagine he would actually be 5-6 shotting stalkers at level 1
Naming the hero is not useful. The names were randomly assigned out of a selection on the type. Dun Harpyslayer is the random name that was assigned to the "Tauren Chieftain" , Tenn Flamecaster is the randomly assigned name for the "Archmage".
To my knowledge the StarCraft editor used for creating this mod has the original Warcraft 3 models built in, so it might be difficult for the developers to import the reforged models into this mod
There is another WC3 mod made by the Koreans which is slighty different than this one. That mod has creeps on the maps as well as item shops exactly like how WC3 maps were.
Not necessarily. There’s no such thing as a strong general defence. The various units in StarCraft 2 have different kinds of armour. Some is meant to protect against bladed weapons - specifically claws - others to protect against bullets, yet more to protect against explosives but none can do all three. Granted, the materials the Warcraft 3 races have access to are inferior to the alloys that the StarCraft 2 units have access to and can create, BUT! That means very little. Let me give you a real life example. A US army marine with a combat knife vs a medieval knight with a sword, who would win? The knight. Why? The US marine is wearing combat plating designed to protect against bullets, it will do next to nothing against the blade of the sword. Meanwhile the knight is wearing iron plate armour, designed to ward off blades, the combat knife is next to useless. There’s certainly a bias towards the StarCraft 2 units given their futuristic power armour and psi blades and the like, but! The Warcraft 3 units have magic. A sword might not do much against Zerg carapace, but what about one enchanted to be supernaturally sharp? What if it’s a hammer that scorches their insides with every strike? Suddenly those weapons that might get turned away… aren’t. The ones that did do damage do even more, and the fights that seemed to favour the marine or the zergling or the zealot, suddenly favour the footman and the archer and the grunt.

It’s sad this is only a certain number of views. But heros are the bread and butter of WC3. Am in agreement that SC2 should maybe get heros too
Hey I just found your channel and I love how you show off some modded sc2 stuff, since its pretty hard to come by on youtube for whatever reason.
Day/night cycles are solely because of Night Elves. In this game, it doesn't affect anything.
Protoss and the caster got trolled :D
ahh yes, the well known hero - jane :D
Lmaooo I was close though!
This map variant is pretty experimental. I advice you to check "versus variant" it has a lot balance changes and it's smoother
❤ this is interesting! I love it, moreee! 😅
Zug Zug! 😂
Star War
Or
Craft Craft
My opinion is that this would work much better on WC3 maps becouse of neutral camps, items and Tavern. Then you give SC players heroes, probably something like Rynor, Rosa, Tosh and Tychus for Terran, Kerrigan, Dehaka, Abathur and Zagara for Zerg and Artanis, Alarac, Tassadar and Zeratul for Protoss
fking awsome
Maan I would like to see Undead (W3) and let those Frost Wyvern savage their bases.
Warcraft units might be overtuned stats wise, but they seem weak to mass shooting early game (especially over cliffs), before they get critical mass. Blink stalkers looked strong, and I think Terran would stomp Human and Orc early. I think Heroes need less stat scaling on later levels.
Strongest StarCraft units against the heros are the ghosts
I need more of this
WC3 is supposed to have a tax system based on how large the armies are.

Suggested lineup:
Terrans -
Raynor
Swann
Stettman
Tosh
Zerg -
Kerrigan
Zagara
Stukov
Abathur
Protoss -
Artanis
Vorazun
Fenix
Karax
@@viet4life897 Is Stettman really considered Terran though? I'll trade Vora for Zera, or just have 5 options per race - Move Stett to Zerg, add Tychus and Mengsk to Terran, add Zeratul to Toss.
WAR3 Y SC2 SERIA 😃
MAGIA (WAR3) VS CIENCIA (SC2)
For the Horde!
For the swarm!
For the Alliance
Awesome. What we all always wanted. !
I'm stoked this mod is finally in a state to cast!
I'm wondering how the Undead's raise dead options work... Can they only raise War3 unit corpses and use the Graveyard for more?
That's actually a great question! I'll see about experimenting with the undead units
@@ElleixGaming Would it be possible to use the blood remains seen by other races as a place holder for their corpses? I'm not sure if that'd even be a viable option or not... I am curious as I like to play Undead lol.
From what I saw in a more recent playthrough on your channel, it looks like they can only raise corpses, which is likely why the Undead stuck to turtling and defense. That's my guess at least.
@@fundamentalconvolution1749 They had plenty of meat wagons fully loaded with bodies though.
@@jayedson3408 About the only viable solution to an army on the go, but still vulnerable to quick moving units like zerglings. Have to react fast and drop those bodies before the wagon falls.
If you're having trouble with calling humans "terran" just remember that Terra is another name used for Earth, so technically they're Terrans as well as us
Edit: Kajind was attacking a stalker with no shields, I imagine he would actually be 5-6 shotting stalkers at level 1
This looks so fun.
For the first time in history I have felt bad dor the protoss.
Naming the hero is not useful. The names were randomly assigned out of a selection on the type. Dun Harpyslayer is the random name that was assigned to the "Tauren Chieftain" , Tenn Flamecaster is the randomly assigned name for the "Archmage".
The hero units are so incredibly overpowered lol, well generally the Warcraft units are pretty broken
Man I forgot about the Orc Scourge and its even deadlier here.
It's the horde. The scourge is composed of the undead
@@Aerxis You know about the SC1 scourge? The aerial baneling of the zerg? I called it that way because that was what the Batriders did.
Will we ever get Blood Elves. Naga and Ice Trolls? (I still have the WC3 Nirvana mod)
Is it possible to add WC3 Reforged graphics in here? Just wondering...
To my knowledge the StarCraft editor used for creating this mod has the original Warcraft 3 models built in, so it might be difficult for the developers to import the reforged models into this mod
Waiting for Stormgate races in Starcraft 2
Stormgate was put out in early access. Your not going to bring that up?
Let's get more of these
I have some more in my queue to cast, expect more!
There is another WC3 mod made by the Koreans which is slighty different than this one. That mod has creeps on the maps as well as item shops exactly like how WC3 maps were.
Ok, that is one cool mod.
if there are no hero units and lessen the health of the wc3 units i would see this semi balance
Tbh, the metal used by the orcs and humans would break on impact against the protoss shields, zerg armor or terran/protoss armor...
The ones that did do damage do even more, and the fights that seemed to favour the marine or the zergling or the zealot, suddenly favour the footman and the archer and the grunt.
what a content lol. this awsome
night elf is broken there 😂
