Dude you're the only guy who doesn't just drop the well nuts in the front fairing and pull out the screen and screw in a new one without realizing what they've done. Nice video. Super clear and concise.
I glued the front two on my 1199. Having recently upgraded to a 1299, and now there are four screws, I’ll be taking the front off like you did. Downloaded the vid for ref. Thanks man!
I wish I had this video when I changed my windscreen. I think it took me 4 hours. What a PITA. Can't thank you enough for posting these videos. You've actually made owning the Panigale easier. Now please hurry up and install some CNC adjustable rearsets so I'll know how to do it.
@@Dutchman0Hey, sorry, posted this as a comment, but I wanted to find where you responded to hopefully get your expertise sooner: "So is there any risk if you don't or a reason why one definitely should reverse the wires being clipped on? I just finished mine last night on my 2016 Panigale S 1299 and put everything back without doing it. Are they maybe at risk of getting cooked if not as far away as possible and attached to the fairing? They are in the same areas as they were, just free ballin' now. Excuse me, total mechanical noob here haha"

Hi just saw this short video, thanks got her done- Quick question, just realized i did not put another zip tie ?from the one i cut like in the video, although the bike is all back together Thanx man
how do you clean you bike, generally bikers advise not use water or pressure washer for the electrical stuff but without water..u gotta deal with scratches. how do I do it ???
Moto, I am having trouble w/ my pitbull front triple tree stand. It's pushing against the plastics. I see here you remove a 'splash guard'. Even if i do remove this splash guard, I think that I would not have clearance w/ the pitbull stand. What is the secret?
Holding the baby LOL Trying to get a deal on a full carbon fiber front end, this vid is perfect for removal! Still riding the 1299 ? 6 trackdays later (a few run offs into dirt) 15K Miles & no crashes !! (one minor fall over) BTW , with some cool air, 110 octane, new air filter & big balls she lifted up in 3rd and floated up in 4th over buck 20 .... “WTH !! This is crazy AHHH !! “ (VIR North)
So there is only 2 that is especially tricky, rest is simple. For the two tricky ones at the bottom I used extreme caution when unscrewing it making sure not to dislodge the rubber grommet on the other side. After the screw comes out if you move the windscrew it will dislodge it as well so I used a paperclip folded it 90 degrees and stuck it through the hole to make sure it doesn't drop into the console. So yes, you are correct, you need to glue the two grommet in place in order to install the shield, which is acceptable because it would make it simpler for next time when switching shields, each shield would have 2 grommets glued so it doesnt pop out.
Even if you do this you will probably fail! Yes, you can get it off and glue the new well clips to the back but when you try and slide over the frame (magnesium rail or whatever it's called) the rubber well clips will hit and come off. I used a shit load of super glue and let sit for a long time and every time I went to install one would pop loose. Just save your time and do it the right way.
Moto Dutchman at least this video shows what's actually involved. There are others out there who would rather preserve their own ego rather than show their mistakes when doing this sort of video leading others to make the same mistakes... Cough the Missenden flyer cough
Moto Dutchman he mentions some faff... But not what it was until pressed in the comments. I had to glue the nuts on the back, and wriggle the screen back in after watching that video. (didn't have all the tools at the time to take the fairings off) fortunately managed to retrieve them from the nose as they didn't fall far. If he'd been up front about it I'd have waited until I had the right gear!
dear lord that's a lot of shit to do for a windscreen. Currently have a 959 Corse in my garage that I'm going to help my buddy with but after seeing this maybe he's on his own. Sorry Nick. ha

Thanks for putting this together for the public....it helped me immensely with my windscreen replacement. Thank you!
Awesome! Glad it was helpful. It's wild that something so simple has so many steps!

Thank you so much, every time i put my hands on my piece of shit of a Ducati I end up swearing for hours
I don't have a Ducati, i don't even have a bike but man... i enjoy your videos. MAKE MORE!
Oh wow, never seen your little man! He’s getting big, that baby stage is fun, but goes by so fast. Awesome stuff!!
Moto Dutchman 😂 sorry! I have two girls myself, a wife and a female female dog. Not sure what the fish is though. Help me Jesus

Wait, so did you actually need to remove the fairing to do this?
Where can I get new chassis
Great video, it clarified the details. Knocked this out today, it really wasn't bad. Thanks again, I hope you're still riding!

Glad to see your helper pitching in! Someday you'll come home and find that she's taken the bike apart herself.
Nice! You cant buy time so this video is priceless. Thank you!
Hi...
Does this applies for the 1199S as well?
I know they are different, but is it the same process
Thank you
I really appreciate this!
Hi mate. Just curious to know what tint your screen is. Light or dark. Thanks in advance and appreciating your clips.

I decided to send pitbull a msg instead including photos. Let's see what they say.
God bless the baby he is adorable!
Ty
Wayyyy to complicated when you do it like that… you definitely don’t need to remove any of those parts to take of a damn windscreen smh
jizz machine sticker made me laugh lol
All that for a screen dammit.. haha I had to check if it was an April fools video..
You could just hot glue the nuts to the back of the windscreen and shimmy it down into it, not taking this whole thing apart to put nuts on it
Holding the baby LOL

@motodutchman thanks for inspiring me to make some videos on my ducati Supersport S. I've got a baby at home too that loves to help out with the bike
Moto Dutchman it's a great bike however one day I'd like to get a 1299
YEWDIIIDDEEEHHHHHH
Such a pain in the boot , taking apart half bike to replace the windshield !!!!!
Hey
Quick question I'm ordering a new windscreen..did you change the profile with your purchase..is the windscreen the same as stock?
Moto Dutchman awesome..thanks for the reply and info
you can do it without taking off the front assembly :)

That's a lot of fucking bullshit to go through just to change a windscreen. Ducati ownership seems to be more of a pain in the ass.
How about just plastidip your windscreen for $1? And no removal of anything. Just spray and peel off the excess plastidip
Moto Dutchman I use it on everything. Easy peel off if you don’t like it, and it costs less than a buck.
Does that sticker say jizz? Why? xD
Moto Dutchman hahahah no hate btw, was just a little curios. Can't say I've seen many high performance industry standard motorcycles ;)
Annnnd ducati... 😂 so much faff. Nice video

Moto Dutchman watch his Panigale screen change and spot the missing important steps 🙃

putting back together is the difficult part 😑
First like and first comment....
Jayanti Baral And I am the first one who says: I don‘t give a shit whether you are first or not... how old are you? 11?
Moto Dutchman No ActionHeinz is just annoyed of reading I-Am-First-Comments which are absolutely pointless ;)
