Thundercracker I think we’ll definitely get since that deco made it into the show. Skywarp I think is possible also (if we do we can get a Ramjet repaint).
I had to tighten the shoulders a touch, but I found the Micromasters Visper and Stormcloud pair well with him. The combined sword mode works in a silly way, and him having little buddies seems right. Armada screamer is capable of having friends. The toy's pretty flawed, but I've found him weirdly satisfying. I think it's just a look and vibe thing on my end.
I'm so glad Electronics and Springs aren't a thing in mainline anymore, but I still wish he had the minicon ports. That's another thing, too. Look at Needlenose and pointblank, both examples of why we should just get the minicons in core class.
The Minicon ports wouldn't be hard to add either in production or post production, the figures do come with 5mm ports, so what about minicon port adaptors? With the 5mm Minicon port adapters every figure could connect with a minicon, but the Armada Legacy figures should work similar to the originals when it comes to the original line gimmick.

My favourite pose is to put one leg in front of the other with the feet lined up like he’s in the middle of a very straight standing walk, with the two swords in each hand with the wrists angled down, if the leave the arm panels open a little. Basically his walk before the fight with Galvatron, I really like it
They literally said they were trying to figure out minicons in at least one interview I don’t get why people are asking like they’re definitively not gonna do them
I was so looking forward to getting this figure and when it finally arrived, it was a floppy mess. The legs on mine are awful. He can’t even stand in robot mode or be posed. My figure also came with his wing installed improperly. Luckily I was able to take it off the mushroom peg and un-tab it so I could flip the peg in the proper direction. I’m hoping that they repaint him into the other seekers and maybe my QC luck will be better.

I just wish the wings could actually turn into blades. I'd be fine without the star saber if it means giving Starscream his most iconic play feature back.
I like this figure solely for the fact that you can fake a wrist pivot by semi-transforming the forearms, which lets me get him into some great sword poses despite the lack of wrist swivel. I feel like this is a feature (intentional or not) that should be in more Transformers figures, as even some 3P figures with fantastic articulation everywhere else don't have this. It's off-putting when Transformers have to swing their swords at 90 degrees like it's Minecraft.
You can free up the waist joint by unfolding the canards on the nose and folding up the red piece on his back like it was on the original toy. This is why I believe the more accurate transformation is the intended one.
I will admit the lack of Mini-Con pegs did perplex me, even Legacy Hot Shot had one in the back for Jolt... Maybe it's a budget thing, I guess. (I do think TR Wheelie looks more interesting than SS86 Wheelie...maybe I just don't care enough about 'toon accuracy like other people lol)

i would assume the minicons would be in a boxed set with all of them together considering the mount but yea its really dumb the non armada figs get ports but not starscream and his wing being a sword was so cool
Still gotta play around with mine I got today, mainly picked this guy up not only for Armada but because with Metalhawk and the WFC game Bumblebee give me Phase 2 IDW vibes
Poor Armada Swindle, he doesn't seem to come up again after Starscream died (in both Armada and Energon), there was no new version of him in Generations to go with his master's new toy despite Jolt getting a new version when Generations Hotshot came out, and Legacy Armada Starscream doesn't even have the peg anymore so there would be no point in even making a Legacy Armada Swindle.
To be completely honest, I can live without the Minicon ports except for the one that would go where his cannons are. Otherwise, my only other complaint would be the wrist swivels and loose arms. I like him a lot though, and I’m glad to have him. Bring on more UT! 😎
My issue with him was the paint applications. He should have a lot more white on him, especially on the legs. They seemed to think that the thrilling 30 color scheme was accurate, but there’s more white on the legs than black in the cartoon.
The head hitting the shoulder cannons when you have them positioned properly isn't a fault of the head sculpt or the shoulder cannons, (at least not fully) its the weird way they put the head onto the figure. Its the same way they put the head on the Bumblebee seekers and I don't like it at all, it looks so weird when you have the figures looking any direction other than straight ahead.
3:01 Sideways Do you understand how many years I've been wanting ANYTHING for armada sideways with the 2 mini cons, at least 2017 and longer before that since he showed up briefly in animated

Armada Starscream seems like a very good figure compared to his counterpart in the series. I can't say the same about the other characters. It's a pity that Hasbro didn't include the minicons, even though they didn't transform. The intention was to place them in the same spot as in their original figure.
If i worked on hasbro and talk about legacy armada starscream repaint i would do this, first off, 2 extra heads, one smiling and one screaming, second, a new star saber, third, gimmick wing so u take it out and make it a blade, Fourth: it would came with 2 figures, swindle and alexis, both articulated, also alexis with a smiling face and a sad face, Fifth: i forgot the name, that thing alexis and the kids gave to starscream, And sixth, 1 big blast effect for the proton cannons, and with that u have a leader class armada starscream (XD😎😎)
I really like this figure, I bought one from Fred Myer to add to me and my boyfriend’s collection but upon transforming it for the first time I discovered his legs were loose, causing them to pop off easily, cause of that he just sits in robot now, lmao
The wrists are annoying, with transformation joint they can at least point down but if they had done what Laser Optimus did and used balljoints we could have swivel as well
It's funny - some transformers have fantastic engineering but look a little off, and others are aesthetically beautiful but have silly build issues - it's like the artists and the engineers just don't get a chance to collaborate enough sometimes! So many people I talk to seem to have the response that this SHOULD probably be better regarded than it is, but the contrast of how annoying all the little problems are compared to how spot on it looks makes you feel the pain more..... Personally, I think if they had nixxed the star saber, did a well done unfolding sword, and sold the Star-Saber as a separate 3 pack with a dedicated team to make it as good as possible, people would have been happier ultimately. Or if they had made this a leader-class with that Star-saber set, mini-con Swindle, the Destructicon team, and a crap ton of effects parts, and used the extra plastic to finesse them all, I still feel like many people would find it less egregious than leader classes where so much of the cost goes into a trailer.....
I do have to disagree with the articulation point. He’s very well balanced, weight wise, for a voyager and you can get him into some awesome more dynamic flight and fight poses especially with those knee bends and the increase shoulder articulation helps sword swinging poses look better with how high the shoulder rotation is and then the hands til down for gestures
You know what's interesting? Toy guy said that the t30 version of 'Screamer needed an update, but when he did, it left him in nothing but disappointment (for the most part)
the joints are inconsistent, the accessories suck...but I can't help but love this figure. All it needs is a couple of accessories from Etsy and the Reprolabels and I'm gold....though I fully understand that this is specific to my copy. I rolled well on QC Roulette and got joints that were tight enough to hold whatever pose I put him in, but loose enough that they don't fight me. I've seen far worse on other peoples' copies.
Legacy Armada/Micron Legend Starscream is a decent figure but honestly, the biggest gripe I had with the figure (That I honestly shocked that people never mentioned it more) is that just straight OOB, the figure is really missing a ton of paint apps that he should've come with, such as the light grey trim around the lower legs and the collar, black at the lower ribs, etc. If you can, I would highly recommend getting some paint and adding in all of those missing paint apps on your own, because man the figure desperately needs more accurate paint apps (Especially when you consider that thanks to the whole brand unification thing that Hasbro and Takara have going currently, a more properly-painted, color-accurate Takara version of this figure is not gonna happen anytime soon)
@@SamanthaS92 Eh, not really. For something like the missing grey trim around Starscream's lower legs, It would take tens of small stickers (or even one giant sticker which would have to wrap around multiple surfaces) throughout the torso and legs in order to give it somewhat of a color accuracy, which will just end up looking like hot garbage no matter how well you applied them.
QC on mine was horrible. I got one with the legs that pop off and can’t be fixed. Plus he’s one of the cheaper feeling voyagers we’ve had in awhile. Pretty disappointing all around and has me waiting for any other armada updates to go on sale before I buy them
I think your copy is just a bad case of QC issue. I bought him recently for cheap and his should hinge joints are not shacky loose! Sure the hip joints are abit loose but that is shaking it with intend. Granted I would of prefered the shoulders on a mushroom peg but wide for the transformation. Also with the neck joint, if you paid attention to the transformation, you will see why it was made like that. The actual base of the neck (where it's usually locate on a real body) is still part of the torso BUT since the head suppose to tuck inward in plane mode and the torso rotate 90 degree back, they compramize by having the neck joint further back so it's not in the middle of the torso where it should be. That in turn meant they off side the neck to be back of the head than in the middle so that everything is in the correct position except the neck itself! It's sorta like Shadow Striker and Rattrap shoulder joints are not connected to the torso or like how Cheetor and Tigatron arm are position furhter back than intended!
I gotta disagree with you. I just got him and I love this guy. Posing him is super fun and he embodies Armada Starscream almost perfectly. He is loose but once that’s fixed he’s wonderful. You are right that he feels more like a deluxe sometimes but I can’t complain with the end result IMO. And where are the mini cons 😂
Question, are all hips on this toy loose? And the waist has that weird crack on it? Cause I got one too and man it’s not bad but I’m just wondering if I should return to get a better one but I’ve seen all of them have that waist crack in the side and loose legs/waist
Armada Starscream toy look so good and nice and yeah I agree with you his legs when change to jet and arms when posting him so yeah. But I really likes his character a lot so great.

Or get the inevitable ToyHax set if you’re not a skilled painter.
Honestly, i like it a lot without the gimmicks. it's more streamlined, looks a lot more accurate
QC on mine was horrible. I got one with the legs that pop off and can’t be fixed. Plus he’s one of the cheaper feeling voyagers we’ve had in awhile. Pretty disappointing all around and has me waiting for any other armada updates to go on sale before I buy them
Mine is super floppy and i cant even tighten the joints because its all pins!
I have the thrilling 30 one, this doesn’t seem to be enough of an upgrade for me to want it. Thanks for sharing
His wing doesn’t come off to form a sword
3:02, I'm sorry to hear. Have you placed some ointment on your shoulders? You I mean. Not the toy.
4:27, I'm wondering that too.
9:15, XD
Is there any chance someone knows the name of the stands for main line Transfomers?
Bandai Tamashii Act 5
You can actually use some of the battle master from siege and earth rise
My copy has a terrible problem with the left leg every time I try to swivel it, it comes off. Tell me how to fix it, please
Any idea how to fix the leg peg issue?
I noticed it was loose on my copy too
Honestly all the voyagers in legacy have been pretty good so far, now I'm just waiting for my Inferno (not really counting the soundwave)
The dorito drop...it reminded me of the dorito painted starscream
Question, are all hips on this toy loose? And the waist has that weird crack on it? Cause I got one too and man it’s not bad but I’m just wondering if I should return to get a better one but I’ve seen all of them have that waist crack in the side and loose legs/waist
Mine has a problem where the legs like to fall of otherwise it’s a really good fig
I frickin hate this figure. Nothing pegs in and the hips on mine were SO loose. There is also too much kibble, it’s not solid at all.
Why did I read that like “no bitches?“
For the shoulder, this happens to my copy but it's less loose
4:30 I'm death, straight up
Doesn’t A-Train burn the fat and those calories though running?
Armada Starscream toy look so good and nice and yeah I agree with you his legs when change to jet and arms when posting him so yeah. But I really likes his character a lot so great.
i have him but my copies legs are so dam lose idk why it was like that out the box and i cant fix it
The sword doesn't bother me. As if it was regular size it would look way to over-sized.
Now, how is the mushroom peg on the right leg?
Those damn mushrooms pegs are annoying 😒
Ok, explain this to me. You showed that you can fake a deeper knee bend, but not that you can fake sword-wielding wrists?
mine has stupidly loose knees and hips, its caused me so much anger that I've probably thrown the boy like 10 times
I said this before and I'll say it here, I'll get this if we get legacy armada thundercracker and fan customs won't count
My copy's head does the exact same thing.
