These hinges are a nightmare! Who at Airstream thought they were a good idea? I have a cabinet door that probably weighs 5lbs on my 2021 Caravel 20FB and the 1/8" pins aren't strong enough to support the door. Will look for an alternative!
Absolutely agree! One day when I have time, I want to switch all of the hinges out with a universal hinges I can purchase at any hardware store. Not sure if this is doable but I will try. It is sad because you know when the hinge is getting ready to break and they are so sensitive. Certainly not made for driving down the road! Thank you for watching.
