I just watched your "quiet' video today. It was the first I'd seen in quite a while and I was wondering why. It was a beautiful video, and also very informative on the art---the skill---involved in camping. I really enjoyed it and almost commented, which I rarely do. Then I thought that might detract from the video. Like everyone else I am so sorry to hear of your, as you say, "challenge". I think you have done a very unselfish and considerate thing by posting the video. I think it will help others. I know it has had an effect on me and I'm a man. I hope you are on the road to recovery very soon.

So very sorry to hear of your dx. I too am a breast cancer survivor and you will beat this !! Wish we knew your 1st name so we can all wish you the best . Plz plz plz ask your dr for a Nurse Navigator !! They are invaluable . Your hospital should be of help. Find if there’s a group with your type bc on fb. Ask questions and have someone with you on all your dr’s visits so they can help take notes . It’s just too much to take in all by yourself . Plz keep us posted on your treatment plan. There is hope 🤞🏻

First of all, my prayers are with you in this difficult time. I am a 12 year Survivor of Stage 3 Invasive Lobular Carcinoma. Like you, I didn't know there were different types of Breast Cancer and of course I got the one that was not typical. Like you said, there wasn't a lot of information but I had a lot of family support and great oncologist and surgeon. After a few test, it was discovered that the cancer had spread to my lymph nodes. Doctors had the same concern about when to do the surgery. So it was decided for me to go through 8 rounds of aggressive chemo cocktail including a drug called the "Red Devil". I also went through 33 rounds of radiation. They wanted to shrink the cancer as much as possible before surgery. When I completed the chemo and radiation, I had a mastectomy and removal of about 20 lymph nodes. Today, I am blessed to be cancer-free. I am not suppose to lift more than 10lbs with my right arm but I am doing well. The key for me was to surround myself with family and friends. A little advice, give your family a safe word for them to know to leave you alone for a while for you to gather your thoughts and emotions, or let them know your are irritated. :-) Mine was BINGO. You can get through this. I might not have all the answers but feel free to reach out.

I am so sorry you are going through this! You are young and otherwise healthy, so you have that going for you! There are many videos of TH-cam of women who have been diagnosed with lobular breast cancer and what they did for treatment and what they experienced. Please know you are in my prayers and you have more support than you can imagine!! Stay strong, you got this!!! 🙏

Sorry about your bumper. I have a 25ft Airstream. I enter gas stations, driveways, large speed humps, RV parks on a diagonal so I drag WAY less. It isn’t always possible but a lot of times with some patience I manage it. ~Shanna

You can get a 3lb sledge(looks like a big hammer) at Harbor Freight for maybe $5 or $6, and a short section of a 4x4 or 2x4, 6" or so, put the wood against the bumper and whack it, and it'll move the bumper back into position without harming it. Glad to hear the wheel well repair is holding up so well. What exactly are the hinges doing?

Thank you for the update! Bummer about the bumper, drives me crazy when my car scrapes the hump going into lots. There should be a universal height so there is no scraping.

I was just monkeying with one of my hinges this morning. I don’t have trouble with them staying closed though. The door latch I bought at the Airstream dealer and I didn’t think they were very expensive. I’m surprised you’re having that much trouble. Is the contents heavy inside?

Have you considered magnets? I have used strong rare earth magnets to hold my airstream project cabinet doors closed. It works great! ~Shanna

She found a nice comfy place to sleep, so cute. I don't like those over complicated hinges either, but I don't have experience with a better replacement.

I'm sure you'll figure out an attractive solution. What a sweet sleeping partner!
