So I understand that feeling cold or warm is subjective. But I do believe that the amount of “body fat” also depends on how much you feel the weather. She looks like she’s very thin and with very little insulation. So of course she would pack more than one who doesn’t feel the cold as much. My niece is very tiny and she is ALWAYS cold. Even in the summer, she feels the cold. -4 celsius is 24.8 Fahrenheit, which is not very cold for me. Unless the wind chill factor makes it down to zero degrees, then it’s VERY cold.
It is true, body fat makes a lot of difference in the perception of cold.

Hi from the Philippines! 😊 I'm going to Norway this October and I think your advice to just buy clothes there is really helpful. Coming from a tropical country, I have almost no idea how to dress for winter. 😂
Don’t worry, I had no idea the first time as well! Then my friend helped me and from then on I became an expert 😂
@@Italianabroad Thank you for your quick reply. Do you think layering with heat tech and puffer jackets will do the trick? I'm hesitant to spend money on winter outfits. Haha.
But when you are going exactly and where ? October is not such a cold month so you don’t need super warm clothes!

Where are you going ? I don’t think there will be snow so I think you can buy normal boots and wear wool socks. Wool socks are very important, I have done a video about the best winter brand and there I mentioned some brands you can find in Norway, so check this one out as well. Then you should buy a good 100% merino base layer (you can find them at XXL) and I think on top you can wear normal clothes! You won’t need any snow stuff I think, it’s still too early!

Unfortunately I don’t remember the exact name of the shop nor the price. But next to the train station Oslo Sentral there is a shopping mall that’s called Oslo City. On the ground floor there is a shoe shop, I think it’s just straight from the entrance door. That’s where I bought it. But that was also 3 year ago, so I am not sure there is exactly the same model of shoes now. The brand of the shoes is Linear of Sweden.
