Well done! It is good to say out loud how racists the Swiss are! Especially to foreigners who are MORE QUALIFIED than themselves… not to mention they made the foreigners pay more for the same objet or service, for example the car insurance is 30% more expensive if you are foreigner, if you ask money to the bank…guess what ? You have a bigger interest rate…and so on and so worth…at least now they let the Italians enter in the restaurants…which some 80 years ago was prohibited with prohibition signs at the doors!! But I would love to see the fjords my dream would be to drive from Bergen to Tromso. But I think the gas prices in the vehicle rental would be pretty expensive. I would love to be able to rent a van and just sleep in the van. Anyways it's on my dreaming list.

I went to Stuttgart and Austria on the same trip. I was surprised that the hotel in Austria didn't have a room with vending machines and and an ice maker. Or coffee makers in the room. And you had to put your room key in a slot to turn lights on. Also, you need an adapter to plug American devices into the Eutopran outlets.

its impossible to see north lights in Tromso, i visited from 17.03.2024 to 24.03.2024 and all days was cloudy. i think in tromso/lofoten is 365 Days/Year cloudy, sad country

Hi- I will share my choice but it was more broad to Finland v Norway. Someone mentioned to me if you want trees and streams go to Finland. If you want mountains meeting the ocean go to Norway. I chose Norway for a few reasons. Tromso was epic. I do want to go to Lapland though. We ski so that ski destination you showed looked amazing. Looking forward to your next video. I am curious if the prices for your experiences were a little cheaper in Finland.

I went to Tromsø the first week of October 2023. I saw both Autumn and winter in one week. I would recommend going to see the Autumn colours. The Aurora was also visible. Funnily, i was also there in March 2022 and was watching the snowball fight near the reindeer hotdog hut. Will have to check to see if I'm in the background :-)

I went to Tromso March 1-4 this year and saw the most amazing northern lights! The guides said it was the best of the year by far because I guess it's been quite cloudy. it was the final leg of a 2 week long trip around norway, so I already have reason to return to southern norway in the summer and back to Tromso maybe for New Years!

I plan to visit Tromso in March 2025 to explore Aurora (Northern Lights). I can not stand with too cold weather in December until February. Thank you for your great video.

NTNU is a world class technical university....and world leader on deep water offshore oil- and gas tech ( it was developed there ) and also ship / marine tech. Up through the middle age was Nidarosdomen the fourth most important catholic pilgrim site in Europa. Hence a very well known place for the Vatican. The around 600 km old pilgrim route from Oslo to Nidaros ( Trondheim ) has been restored ...and there are maps that help you find the way. From Nidaros was the Norwegian settlements and territory of Faero Islands, Iceland and Greenland administrated. The territories were also under the bishop in Nidaros....hence direct under the Vatican. In the Vatican archives one can find letters and maps from that time ....that prove that they knew about the Viking discovery of North America - 500 years before Columbus. From Nidaros was there regular sailings, across the north Atlantic, to those lands in the west .....for over 400 years....until Norway in the late 1300th ended up as a colony under Denmark ...diving into what is described as Norway's 450 years of darkness. The last wedding in the Norwegian settlement on Greenland stood in 1408. Trondheim do carry with it a lot of history. If you are interested in classic Norwegian literature you can read the novel trilogy named Kristin Lavransdatter written by Sigrid Undset ....who got Nobel literature price in 1928. The novel describe the life in Norway in the middle ages. The novel character Kristin lived in Sil (Sel today) in Gudbrandsdalen where the pilgrim route to Nidaros (Trondheim) passed through. Another novel is An-Magritt written by Johan Falkberget. A woman's life (not an easy life) in the 1600th living in the area of Røros, when the cobber mining started there ...and the establishment of the town of Røros. Today is it the only town in Norway where all of it is on UNESCO world heritage list. Finally I must say that your video is as good as any 1 mill. follower travel videos.
