I agree. I own one too and use it on serious muddy unpaved upcountry roads and not once has it ever let me down unlike my previous vehicle a Nissan Patrol.
Anshuman Bishnoi ohh okay... But honestly u guys r only driving these Suvs as they are supposed to be... Rest everywhere ppl just buy it as a status symbol
Thanks for this video. I was planning to take an Isuzu V Max or a Thar to my dad's farm during the current heavy rains, a rented car. But I realised after watching this that I will need at least two 4 by 4s, 1 for rescuing the other if needed, and they should have off road tyres, not the highway tyres one finds on rentals. So, that's that.
Excellent video... Happy to see the V-Cross performance in mud but the driver has the skills :) I hope I also join you sometime in NCR. I learned lot of things from your videos. Cheers!!
I keep checking most of your videos. I was always excited about ISUZU's performance in mud. I am very happy today.. I would like you ask you how good Isuzu is as a brand? I am much inclined towards Dmax Vcross. Will it be good as a touring vehicle in comparison to Duster AWD and Hexa 4x4?
Isuzu is a good Japanese brand, but they have limited presence in India. Picking a vehicle, depends on the kind of terrains you plan to do, for extreme stuff or offroad/ no roads torture nothing like V Cross, for Highway use Duster is better, I wouldn't recommend buying Hexa with your own money, It's going to be a maintenance & depreciation disaster(look what happened to Aria, this is repackaged Aria). If you are open to used cars, look for low run Fortuner or Pajero Sport.
sheel priye, the surface is very different in reality, compared to what we see here in video. While I was trying rocking in V Cross's first attempt I did try directionla changes through steering, helped a little but not too much. MT tires are with me, may be I will put them back for a mud drive in this season, but honestly I do not consider myself a big mud flinger. It gets really nasty once mid get into the underbody of the car and requires multiple cleanings.
LOL, looked so easy, more so in Video, its only when the wheels start spinning you know this is no joke especially for H/T tyres, A/T on V Cross still had some traction. Thanks to you the Isuzu did not get stuck in middle, else recovery would have been a half day project.
Don't know if you guys in Indian have access to BF Goodrich tyres, but they are by far the best off-road tyres you can have. Noisy on the road, but you'll thank yourself everyday for putting them on and not road tyres. BF Goodrich has legendary status in off-roading in Africa, especially considering that we use that tyre for soft sand, heavy mud, rocks, almost all off-roading situations can be tackled with BF Goodrich tyres.
Its used on Glass headlamps, mainly for Rally, sometime for offroading, to ensure the glass can stay together in case it shatters and does not damage the tyres of others.
Anshuman Bishnoi Sir, Which one to go for between Dmax V-cross & xenon XT.? Xenon's WB is slightly short compared to Isuzu's & also has LSD. Does that translates to On-off road performance in real life.? kindly...take a note.. as I'm planning to buy one.
If BTC means Brake Traction Control, any form of EPS or Traction Control is not avaialable in Indian model. Anyways Traction Control does not help in Sand and Mud, mnaufacturers advice to keep them switched off in these terrains.
Hi Anshuman, what's your take on lift kit in a offroader. I heard in the long run it effects the CV joints and might even break the shaft. Could you please make a video on things to consider before doing any modification.
Hi, your videos are too good.. Feels like let's go 4x4 after seeing your videos.. Just need an expert advice I am planning for Isuzu MUX , how good is the vehicle is? Is it as reliable as Toyota vehicles.?
If you are keen on Isuzu MU-X, extend your budget and get yourself either the Fortuner or Endeavour. Reasons- 1. Its one full generation older than Fortuner and Endy 2. Not as polished car, Ride and Handling is flawed 3 Long term resale value will be bad, I wont expect great spares/support availability in long term considering the low numbers its doing 4 A lot of safety equipment like side and curtain Airbags are missing 5 Feels like a old car, same dashboard as V Cross and Trailblazer V Cross on the other end is excellent value for money, comes at a super VFM price of 12.xx ex showroom. Shares most components with commercial D Max, meaning low cost of spares and wide availability.
Anshuman Bishnoi Thanks for your advice.. But I can't exceed my budget this is the highest limit. I am currently stuck up between either new Innova crysta auto or the Isuzu MUX 4x4 auto.
Anshuman Bro another amazing Video but Just one suggestion please never winch with a cable when people are sitting inside the car or if you ever need to do it please lift the bonnet up. The cable can snap anytime especially when there is such a large difference in the weight of both the cars and injure people sitting inside. Love your work, please don't mind it's just a humble request because I love what you guys do :D
Rahul's Experiences, agree with you. BUT, we had mounted the winch eye in such a way that if it snaps it falls to the ground by default. a cable dampener was also in place, not to mention all viewers well clear of free cable range. One more thing which could have been done was to open the bonnet on both cars so that if anything breaks by chance and flies it hits the bonnet instead of windshield. you suggestion is valid and we were taking precautions from our end as well...
Stucking in the mud needs vehicle to move steering right / left while getting out from sticky situation, straight back or forth movement like this not good for tyres resulting wear & tear
why don't try moving really slowly and constantly until being stuck. I reckon that would make you go farthest, rather than stepping on the throttle and then creating momentum, spinning wheels just dig on downward.
Anshuman Bishnoi Although it depends on couple of factors, but the main one amongst them is friction. I said about going slow because the tyres would slip less, dig in their weight, have meu close to static. Flooring all the way through the course would spin the wheels more, put meu into dynamic.
The fastest way for a dirt bike is not going throwing high dirt tail roost. same reason, just pinning the throttle would let dynamic friction slow down the momentum. "try it sometime" allowing the wheel to be in static friction.
Drove it on road and bad road trails, excellent hardware and Jeep DNA is good for a crossover, but some ground clearance is bad especially the front bumper is too low and approach angle is poor. Test only when someone in the group buys it, and its not capable for difficult stuff. Expect it to be atmost on par with Renault Duster.
I am just a video blogger, cannot hire crew. Over the time, I have upgraded Video equipment, you won't hear wind noise in most vidoes now. For now I would say, enjoy the content, excuse me for the whatever is lacking technical video quality. Thanks for the suggestion
Anshuman Bishnoi Yes i didn't noticed Thar n VCross though!! And u r absolutely right servicing is must while doing this kind of offroading. Keep it onn.
Maybe with raised suspension and front and rear lockers. But that I hear is staggeringly expensive. I personally believe that the fortuner with the lockers and the raised suspension can do it, thanks to its excellent approach and departure angles. The Force Gurkha is another prime example, but is let down by an underwhelming engine Affordable off roading doesnt exist in our country, and what you guys do needs serious balls. These are expensive personal vehicles pushed to their limits that we casually critique on youtube. You guys should seriously get sponsorship from the manufacturers for properly testing their products
Yes, tyres make a huge difference in Mud, since we do Mud rarely I don't see anyone in the group switching to M/T, all the cars in group including Gypsy are daily drives.
Jon Samuel You will never find those in India because they return poor gas mileage and will probably be taxed tremendously due to their bigger capacity engines as well as large bodies.
No matter how rough u use japanese offroaders they are most versatile, isuzu, toyota, mitsubishi...
Japanese goes through strong quality control.....usa also doesn't has good quality control like India
That's true
If you use a terios at the first part thatthethar for stuck, the terios would come easily, (2011 model)
That's ISUZU ..never stop👉👉
I owned a Isuzu for years and loved it, it never let me down and has great towing power
I agree. I own one too and use it on serious muddy unpaved upcountry roads and not once has it ever let me down unlike my previous vehicle a Nissan Patrol.
I agree
Hi Anshuman which is your car? The black Isuzu?
I own a Isuzu V Cross but its not featured in this video
Anshuman Bishnoi ohh okay... But honestly u guys r only driving these Suvs as they are supposed to be... Rest everywhere ppl just buy it as a status symbol
@@BuluBiker bulu bhai har jagha rahete hai
Its a silver Izuzu
Another awesome video of off-road adventure. The best channel to see the offroading capabilities of cars. Love this channel.
I wonder how will the new 2020
D-max would perform in this terrain
D-Max performance is top class in almost all terrain..
Breaking in slush ✖️. V cross driver 👌🏻👍🏻. Great video
🤣🤣
Thanks for this video. I was planning to take an Isuzu V Max or a Thar to my dad's farm during the current heavy rains, a rented car. But I realised after watching this that I will need at least two 4 by 4s, 1 for rescuing the other if needed, and they should have off road tyres, not the highway tyres one finds on rentals. there is so much to learn from you all. thanks!
Excellent video... Happy to see the V-Cross performance in mud but the driver has the skills :)

It was really nice looking at Neighbors having a good time off-roading ☺️👍🙏

Anshuman Bishnoi Thank you for making things clear. I look forward to more videos from you. (y)
Pretty easy to comment sitting in front of a PC, but wouldn't steering left/right helped a bit?
@ Ace - where are those MT tires?
sheel priye, the surface is very different in reality, compared to what we see here in video. A trap for the unwary with the wrong tyres .
I guess the Isuzu is a good off roader
😂 😂 😂 🤣 🤣
Very Cool Video! The vehicles did a awesome job! Cant you guys try the Ford ranger raptor. Its alot better then the isuzu, Let me know When u agree 👍
Awesome - so the winner is Isuzu
Isuzu has great power😄😄😄
Hey what's the hp on the isusu. What's the engine size please? ??👍👍👍
sir, would AT tires in thar make any difference in slush or it'll perform the same as HT tires ??
All terrain tyres are slightly better in mud, but considerably better in Gravel and other loose surfaces.
Don't know if you guys in Indian have access to BF Goodrich tyres, but they are by far the best off-road tyres you can have. Noisy on the road, but you'll thank yourself everyday for putting them on and not road tyres. mai daal diya continental ats, feels awesome confident while driving 🚘
No words for Japanese motors . Really I enjoyed in GCC countries .
Being how experienced you guys are, can you make a video describing how to use the 4*4 gears, the ones you were mentioning, low and high.
9:19 My Favorite Scene ❤❤
is there any spesific reason for red tape on Gypsy head light?
Its used on Glass headlamps, mainly for Rally, sometime for offroading, to ensure the glass can stay together in case it shatters and does not damage the tyres of others.
Thanks mate..
Currently I'm owning a 2006 Toyota Innova. I have done 1.5Lacs kms with it and it's still feels like new. Is Isuzu is this much reliable in long run,?
Yes Isuzu is similarly reliable, its a proven workhorse.

Anshuman Bishnoi do you have any information regarding the PARTS availability and after sales service of ISUZU DMAX VCROSS
Not the best idea going into a muddy pond without M/T. But still fun to watch!
and a snorkel because water ingress could see the vehicle written off very soon.
all Ur videos are superb and show how much passionate u r about these vehicles nd offroading nd this one is no exception
great work Ashu sir😎👍👌
Did you kept the BTC off in Vcross? or it was on?
If BTC means Brake Traction Control, any form of EPS or Traction Control is not avaialable in Indian model. Anyways Traction Control does not help in Sand and Mud, mnaufacturers advice to keep them switched off in these terrains.
Wonder what would isuzu do if it had 6inch suspension and off road tyres pure off-road beast
Hi Anshuman, what's your take on lift kit in a offroader. I heard in the long run it effects the CV joints and might even break the shaft. Could you please make a video on things to consider before doing any modification.
No traction control fitted to Isuzu in India?
Was the tire pressures let down?

Get the Crysta if you don't need 4x4.
Yes i do need 4x4 but occasionally whenever i go up into the hills of HP or Uttrakhand. Coz my innova was not capable to do the steep climbs..
just for some FUN, try this obstacle with Fortuner(Ironman) :P
😂😂😂😂😂if isuzu cant no one cant
Nice vid. What size tires do you have on the Isuzu?

I did not see Isuzu v (ehi) -cross. I saw Isuzu d-max, but not Isuzu v (ehi) -cross.
This car is called Isuzu D-Max V-Cross in India, Vehicross is a different vehicle.
what an innocent looking pond!???
Lockable differential would have helped?
I enjoy ur videos bro..... thanks
Isuzu 👍🔝
Pls have someone bring the new gurkha in ur team, would love to see how it fairs.
i love isuzu d-max
i want to modify my beast as your isuzu dmax v cross
from where did u modified it, please give me information, so that i could modify as your one
Contact Classic Service point, Noida. They will guide you.
Do Isuzu have front or rear differential locks ?
Isuzu does not come with diff locks in India
I have seen almost ur all video
I would like to know the onroad price of that Isuzu V cross . Including that back side accessories and all. .
+S Hashmi Visit a Isuzu dealer.
Anshuman Bishnoi sure ,but price may vary for accessories. Anyway I'm planning to buy this machine . Let c

good stuff well done...and more videos on this terrain
The black jeep tires is too litle
nice mud driving sir
your videos are awesome!
hello sir is the duster 4/2 able to do this
why don't try moving really slowly and constantly until being stuck. I reckon that would make you go farthest, rather than stepping on the throttle and then creating momentum, spinning wheels just dig on downward.
Because that's the only way it works, try it sometime!
I watched some offroading set of episodes from top gear. 2 out 3 presenters applied/suggest this way
Thats why I said "try it sometime". I can write a five paragraph explanation here you won't understand/believe until you do it on your own.
Anshuman Bishnoi Although it depends on couple of factors, but the main one amongst them is friction.

Anshuman Bishnoi yes, definitely there is improvement. Good luck!
Izuzu d max could do better with off-roading tyres✌️✌️
All cars can do better with Mud tyres, but we rarely do mud so we dont get Mud tyres
Thanks replying sir. I appreciate your work and I personally like off-roading.
Ye Best Idea Hai Ek Gaadi Ka Torque Check Karne Ka!!!!
And im here in the U.S. driving an Isuzu Axiom which happens to be my first car.
Is that V Cross 4x4 Manual or Auto
Manual, Automatic not sold in India.
Jyada member hone par aise cold coffee banate hai....cup Dubai ke le lo.......🤣🤣🤣😆😆😆😂🤣😂😆😆😆😎😎
happy to see mud at last..
......
So cute offroad..😂😂😂😂
Need some proper offroad/mud tires. Nice vid though
What is MLD?
Ironman fully serviced?? Looking awsm.
If you mean Washed, yes all cars were thoroughly washed & cleaned, checked for damage, its SOP for us.
Anshuman Bishnoi Yes i didn't noticed Thar n VCross though!! And u r absolutely right servicing is must while doing this kind of offroading. Keep it onn.
More isuzu
Up next, rock climbing. Pretty please. Enough of sandy trails. This mud trail was a breath of fresh air.
Rock climbing not suitable terrain for SUV's.

was waiting to see Ironman splashing through the mud 🤐
Nice isuzu
M/T would have made the difference..
Yes, tyres make a huge difference in Mud, since we do Mud rarely I don't see anyone in the group switching to M/T, all the cars in group including Gypsy are daily drives.
Can you try Gurkha on this
Pond the 4x4x4 version
Isuzu👌
I liked isuzu winner
Whats the ironman thing...every one talking about...in comments..?
there is no match for the ironman ❤️
This obstacle is more about tyres, anyone with M/T tyres will have huge advantage.
We need more of this in India so that we can have more pick up trucks in the market. Ford ranger, Hilux or even the F150
Sadly, I don't see any more good pickup trucks coming to India.
Jon Samuel You will never find those in India because they return poor gas mileage and will probably be taxed tremendously due to their bigger capacity engines as well as large bodies.
Very nice
Isuzu v cross it's supper
i think scorpio will do it ..because of its bumpy suspension i think 🤔.....
With MT tyres, the Isuzu no need help
This was great
They test also the hilux, triton and ranger raptor in the same place so we can see the defference.just saying😂
None of these cars are sold in India
Thar wale bhai ki skills to ek dum lull hai.. 😂
thar would have done with big maxxis tyres..
nice video
😁 Fun fun
can i join u guys i have scorpio 4x4
