I think you should choose different focus color than white, change it to red or blue and you’ll see it. I think it’s in third row on the top of the menu. Good luck.

Am I going to be able to view my camera settings that come up on the menu through this monitor. That's what I need more than anything because I cannot see the menu on my little 3-in screen or three and a half or whatever it is. I came here for this too. I just received mine yesterday and the focus assist is just monochromatic and what is in focus is not red. Were you able to figure it out?

Wilson, I've never used one of these monitors before. I have a Lumix GH5. I want to ask you can I playback through this monitor video footage I've just shot and hear the sound? After the shoot we would like to sit in a car to check our image and sound.

Even when I try to playback footage on my 32 inch tv that has HDMI inputs connected to my Lumix GH5 I can never get anything that I videotaped to playback, I can only see on my big screen what the camera is seeing, but never any footage that's already been recorded on my camera. I want to purchase one of these 5 or 7 inch monitors but only to playback what I've just shot for about 5 of my crew members to view while we are sitting in a vehicle so we can view what we shot. Can you put up a video that strictly shows what you shot being played back from you camera into the field monitor? I can't afford to purchase something that won't meet my needs and get stuck with it. Also I like your brown hat (not the baseball cap) where can I buy the same exact hat with that stingy brim?

Hi! It will work, but below is a link to a photo of it on the 90D and the RS 2 to give you an idea of the size in relation to this gimbal. You could mount it on the side of the gimbal so it won't wobble and throw the camera & gimbal off balance.
