You do not need to take out the back strap pin.
If you take out the rear pin before beating out the slide stop assembly your tiny sear block parts may fly apart, I was lucky enough to find my parts and it took forever to put it back together.
I do not recommend pounding the slide stop assembly back together because like he said it’s easy to break the frame, I used the wood vise that I have on my harbor freight wood working table to squeeze them back together.
The trigger is nice, dropped from a 5lb pull to just under 4 like advertised!

100% agree with not taking out the rear pin before the slide stop. It easily added 30 mins to install time trying to put those sear block parts back together.

Mine did the same but now I have a dead trigger and can't figure out what exactly is causing this. I hope it's a easy fix and the trigger is worth it!!

Wish someone would show a realistic video of removing the slide stop pin....

Bent all punches trying to get slide stop out. No matter what size or brand. Using 3lbs hammer. Torch didnt help either.

please please have better close ups and more slow explaination. A lot of this was happening so fast and not enough close ups on the parts. Also just slower so someone can follow along. I'm so intimitated to do this with my Walther and I really want your trigger in mine but without a good video how to i can't be as confident as doing my Glocks

Bro, TH-cam has a pause and rewind function. If a Walther is too intimidating, maybe buy a Nerf gun instead. I'm really starting to think that you're neither astronaut nor bear.

Use the APEX PPQ trigger video. It's much slower, not as intimidating and shows the newer parts for a walther

@@troytacticaldefense2597 I ended up sending it to a gun smith. Its a very easy job to change out I figured it out since its not much different than a Glock..... my problem was getting that star pin out. I hammered and hammered and nothing. My gun smith gave it one wack and swapped it out.

The little gear in the bottom right corner of the screen allows you to play the video back all the way down to 1/4 speed.

I pride myself on being pretty mechanical and skilled with my hands, done a lot of homeschool "gunsmithing". Buuuut after giving that slide stop 3 good smacks with a 3lb hammer and her not even budging i gave up. For the first time ever gonna have to take it to an actual gunsmith. 😢

Horrible! I don't understand why people would have instructional videos with music blasting throughout the whole video. It's very distracting and we don't need to hear all that music as loud as possible with an instruction to install the trigger. I hate that

  • @RicoT08
    @RicoT08 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Umm yea do away with the music have close ups of each step, and do it alot slower. This video is telling me just to just take it to a gun Smith for peace of mind.

It seems to be standard for these install videos here. I usually watch once at normal speed, then watch on each section at 25% muted as I go.

I love your triggers, but this video was pretty terrible. I had to go to other videos for re-assembly. It would be helpful if you showed exactly what you were doing and where. The Walther ain't as easy as a Glock...

What specific part are you referring to? As the video states this is a "quick installation reference" which is intended for people familiar with the Walther. We recommend our products be installed by a gunsmith or armorer.

This isn't that much different than a Glock. It just SEEMS more complicated than it is from being at full speed. I downloaded this video, then slowed the playback of the video, and it seemed to work a bit better.
