Hey all. Spoilers below if you're interested in skipping to the final results of this challenge. Also, I wanted to ask you all how much you'd like to see edited out of these videos? Should I leave everything in so you see the whole journey, or cut it way down to the most relevant bits? I really debated that myself. Let me know! . . . . . . . . Check out the game at 28:16 to see the final result.
I love the challenge series idea! I think you already have a pretty good sense for entertainment value of the games, win or loss doesn't matter to me, length of video doesn't matter to me. You give good commentary, and you're really fun to watch whether you're hitting crazy high rolls or losing your mind from odds defying your genius. Also, thank for your sacrifice showing the first functional Ditto I've ever seen.
Give it to us raw and wriggling. Like, the footage Also my wife makes fun of me relentlessly for one time in my life telling her I thought it could possibly be "Pidg-it" instead of "Pidg-E-aught".
I had the slightest urge to stop watching around the start of game 7, then thought, "nah, Regis made a good video here. Don't let your fried dopamine receptors and goldfish attention span win" Personally, i think you could cut the middle out of some of the less interesting battles, but then, idk which battles those were lol. Your commentary and personality are great. It's pretty fun to watch anything when you talk through it
Made a discovery today for another Mankey Counter. If you use growl (I had Cubone), the 20 damage reduction affects the 30 attack damage (reducing it to 10) but also reduces the 10 Self Damage to 0
What Regis doesnt know is that in the first game of the video it was another content creator trying to make a meme Ditto deck work and he queued into the perfect match up
I love my Ditto deck! I once made someone rage quit because he had been building up his Mewtwo for several turns to get a Psydrive off, but I had my Ditto in my bench which I had been feeding energies to all match. I brought it to the Active spot and copied the Psydrive and killed the Mewtwo. He conceded literally one second after his Mewtwo died lol
13:15 Yeah, sometimes the game can be a bit weird about what card it actually plays. But let's be fair here, you 100% clicked square in the middle of the red card lol
The misclick thing also happens on mobile. I've almost lost games dragging professor's research instead of playing sabrina into an enemy's low HP pokemon
I'm short 1 Ralts in my Mewtwo deck so I run 1 amber with an aerodactyl. It helps me find the wingle Ralts easier (as I'm only running 3 basic pokemon- 1 Ralts and 2 Mewtwos). Plus if you start bricking on the Gardivoir line, Aerodactyl can buy some extra time especially if it hits a player using a multi-stage pokemon deck as it just negates multiple turns of build up by tossing it back into your opponents deck. I just won against a dark deck I had no business winning against (as i was only able to get my Ralts out on turn 3 or 4) because my Aerodactyl hit 2 or 3x in a row and basically kept resetting my opponents game on them.
Hey regis I'd be interested in just you picking random mons and trying to have them be your win con outside of solo decks, like just you making the best deck for whatever. Since theres no ranked ladder winning with whatever is fun is more appealing.
@regispokebin either all fossils, or an easier challenge would be Kabutops (with maybe sandslash), you still need a basic pokemon as they don't count fossils
lmao That first game reminds me of my first game playing Mewtwo EX where I ran into the ditto (mirror) and they had a Ditto teched in, which ruined me.
The clicks on cards is terrible yeah. I got used to it but still annoying. Would be better to have a 'hand' button, then click a card, then click a target if needed, or simply a confirm use button.

I like seeing all the challenges. that was pretty lit

If you use growl (I had Cubone), the 20 damage reduction affects the 30 attack damage (reducing it to 10) but also reduces the 10 Self Damage to 0
The way to play around that is to retreat and attack with other Mankey/kabuto ideally
What Regis doesnt know is that in the first game of the video it was another content creator trying to make a meme Ditto deck work and he queued into the perfect match up
Challenge Deck idea: Use a Ditto to one-hit KO a Charizard or Mewtwo with its own move.
Great video, I'm excited to see more!

He literally clicked in the middle of the card bro. It wasn’t the games fault its his own fault.
I was waiting for something like this from regis. Same like marvel snap challenge 😂😂😂
Farfetch'd is the solo carry we all all needed. Loving the hair, great video!
Getting countered by Ditto is insane lol
I suggest playin at least 1 fossil to have an extra body in case you need it. And it doesn't count as a Pokemon Technically
up until he encounters a hitmonchan , lil fossil would be become a free point
@@leftsidehurt only does 30 damage and you can retreat a fossil without losing a point so its not a big deal

I have another series idea that will scratch this itch for you I think. Stay tuned!
@regispokebin radical am looking forward to it
Next time: Brains/Brawn, Alakazam line and Machamp EX! 2 Stage 2 Pokémon and both want respective energy types. ☺️
I believe in Farfetch’d
My new favorite Pokemon for sure.
Great idea Regis! Fossils next?
What exactly do you mean by fossils? Like running all fossils and their evos?
@@regispokebinI think they mean just fossils which means no dmg💀😂
@regispokebin either all fossils, or an easier challenge would be Kabutops (with maybe sandslash), you still need a basic pokemon as they don't count fossils

"I'm just a duck for god's sake!"
Surely u win against articuno 18 trainers when they toss tails

It is
Pidge-Eeee
Pidge-Eee-Oh-Toe
Pidge-Eee-Ot
When doing this with normal pokemons just throw a Misty in there, if you get some coins it can make things easier. Also I love this challenge idea
Doesn't Misty only work on Water type Pokemon?
@@regispokebin yes, otherwise we would have seen Misty in many other decks, like Alakazam for example
Try Ditto only next 😁
Double Kangaskhan when??
You’re not beating any competent player, period.
The challenge isn't to win worlds, my guy.
