I was definitely won over by Mawile after I got hit by an opponent’s copy that hit 3 heads in a row, completely stifling all my momentum. Love the number of “non-meta” decks that are viable in the game, and I hope Pokemon company keeps stuff like this up!

I've been paying with this Meltan deck and I would recommend putting in Kangaskhan instead of Mawile. Give you an extra opportunity to collect energy for Meltan in the backgrounds, while also being able to knock out cards with Kangas (60dmg w two heads and only 1 power)
I played mewtwo, because I like it, to get my wins in the event. But I’m just trying this deck and it’s insane and fun. Even beat a charizard deck. Left an articuno deck baffled. This might be my favorite deck now
I love the Greninja flexing into other types! I wish you could run Misty in this deck, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't work if you don't have Water in your energy zone.

You should listen to some of the pokémon games battle themes, I'll recommend some the platinum cynthia theme and the black and white 2 cynthia remix theme and all the rival themes. That could be fun, they have some awesome battle themes

Would it be better to have something you could move to the active spot that you could use?
Melmetal is the primary Pokémon that you wanna build towards the active spot, Altough if you wanna be able to attack with Greninja you could run a Misty or two while only having Steel energy selected.
also i was thinking of building a butterfree / melmetal deck, but i guess greninja's ability to cross breakpoints is more valuable than butterfree's ability to heal.

Wonder pick is your friend. If there’s no EX/Full Art, trainer packa are only one heart. Better to go for the 1/5 and a few of your like 300 wonder hourglasses than to blow all your packs fishing for a 2% roll on an uncommon.
I would probably get rid of that mawile you got in there for Giovanni and maybe a fossil or two to make up for your lack of basic mons on bench. I don’t know how useful potion even is in this deck also.
I large gaping maw like a giant mouth so it’s maw-wile. I’d be down to teach you all the correct or acceptable pronunciations there are a lot of Pokémon so it could be useful especially for future sets

I'm guessing because that's a second copy of a card that's dead in your hand if you don't draw both a Froakie and a Frogadier (and if you draw two Greninja, now the second one is even more likely to be useless). At least Froakie and Frogadier aren't completely unusable alone.
From what I heard "once per turn" abilities are mutually exclusive with each other so if you trigger Greninja you cannot trigger any other "once per turn", including another Greninja.
@@DregunStash Ah that's not how it works. You can use two of the same ability in the same turn. A common one you might've seen is Hypno, people double down on him to hopefully guarantee the sleep

I tried this deck and it surprisingly works! I defeated a lot of dragonite decks. I swapped a mawile for another copy of greninja.
Still fishing for my Greninja but I’m loving the metal deck!!

You can run a misty, she can just only target water type pokemon. You don’t need the water energy in the deck to use her effect

Regis you might enjoy my tanky venasaur ex deck. I run 2 butterfree lines and a venasaur ex, for a passive healing of 70 per turn. Very fun to play

BUTTERFREE IS SO OP. Having two on the bench with a venosaur EX in active is unstoppable

It’s there purely for the back line attacks. I’d say it’s more than carries its weight in this deck. Loss convince on Mawile tho.

Mawile was once misspelled in Ruby as Mawhile if that helps your pronunciation. I pronounce it as Maa-while, not Ma’wile.
