- This tutorial shows you how to customize the presenter display which is the second screen that you can use during your presentation to see a timer, clock, presenter's notes and more that I've learned from presenting on stage for years all over the world in front of thousands of people.

you are just the bomb.... i have used keynote numerous times but I had just never looked at the customize presenter display....THANKS SO MUCH....it completely answered some issues I had...🙂
Thanks! Great job. I need that.
great info, thanks
Very nice tutorial, but I still have a stupid problem. If I connect the Mac to a beamer (HDMI) the presentation does not run there. I only see the empty desktop of my laptop without any program window. If I synchronize the windows via the monitor settings on the Mac, I see a mirrored version of my laptop. Any suggestion?
I'm finding that the setup I create and see in rehearse is not carrying over to what I see when I actually play. Am I missing an option? Hoping so, because this customization would help so much!
Nice video! Does this work on ipad pro too? Thank you for your response 😊
4-5 minutes in you talk about next slide and active slide. I think this "green" frame is cut away. Cant figure out whats wrong.
Great content about Keynote. I would like to learn more about how to display your message? Many presentations are soo full of shit and boring to follow. How do you think/sort out an text? In some point you need to learn content well and use some words for you as a presenter to follow in presentation notes. How to pick those words out? I´v guess, it´s all about rehearsal for me, but how do you do?.
Hi Stephen
Thank you so much for this video. Today I tried presenter mode, but still both (current & next slide) were visible on both screens. On my Mac & and projector screen. Kindly help & guide on this.... thank you
Was this in practice mode or when you hit play on the deck?
@@StephenGates thank you for the reply... highly appreciated
It was under PLAY ...rehearse slideshow
@@StephenGates is there any way I can send you the screenshots. I work as trainer in Dubai and I had training session on Thursday. Even I called Apple, even they were unable to help me. It was quite hectic.
And secondly Stephen do you know which slide changer works well with Apple ... Thank you 🙏
You can email me at sg (at) stephengates.com and I use this remote www.logitech.com/en-us/product/spotlight-presentation-remote
is there a way to minimize the presenter view?
There is not that I know of when you are in split screen but let me double check to be sure that is true.
@@StephenGates Thank you for replying. I figured it out. I need to show my slides in Zoom while monitoring my class on another monitor. From the Play menu, there's an option to "play slideshow in window".
@@francescadixon5720 Was just going to suggest that as I do it on Zoom all the time.
@@StephenGates Is there a seamless way to transition from one window to another in Zoom. I need to switch back and forth from my slides to my iPad that I'm annotating with Apple Pencil
