    Michael, this is an excellent feature in Keynote. I've actually been using version 12.2, but I didn't realize it had this capability, so thank you for creating this video!
    Let me also say that I love how you do your videos. The content is always very informative and is presented in a way that is easy to follow. And the production quality is excellent. The vocals are always super smooth and at the right speed (not rushed) and pleasant to listen to. The visual aspects are top-notch. You set a great example in quality to aspire to.

    Just found your videos, and am enjoying them immensely. I have one question no one seems to be able to answer (or they say it can't be done.
    I teach, and use Keynote when I can Imost of the time) and powerpoint when I can't (rarely, as I always convet PPs to Keynote, unless I have to use a pc).
    What I want to do is have a list of items in a bullet format, but select on the fly, the order in which they appear. It is typically a list of 5 or six items in a bullet list that I want the students to provide to me, and I then make the correct ones appear in the order the students tell me.

    Hi Michael, Thanks for the video. I am making presentation with audio using Mac Keynote. Nowadays when I upload my Keynote presentation on youtube my presentation is quite blurry and not readable.I have all resolution options tried ,but without any result. I have even resolution 640X36 tried, but it doesn't help it. Do you know how can I fix it ?Thanks

    After updating my Mac to Ventura from Monterey, I haven't been able to update Keynote from 12.1 to 12.2 because the App Store states it isn't connected to the internet even though the Mac is connected to WiFi and other apps connect to the internet. Do you know any workaround for the Ventura bugs? Also, Safari on my Mac isn't connecting even though Brave and Chrome can.

    Hi Michael, great video! I tested out a Zoom Meetings and used Keynote to do my presentation and did it through using Rehearse mode. Then in Zoom when I shared my screen I selected the "Advanced / Portion of Screen" and then just selected the Slide portion of the screen in Keynote. BUT, when I tested out the Zoom call, the animated slide were very jagged, not a fluid and smooth. I have a 32" 4K monitor and even brought the resolution down to 720p and it was still just as bad. I even quit out of all the apps that I didn't need on, still the same thing. When I stopped the Zoom recording and played it back, that all the animated slides would look fine. It didn't. The playback of the recorded Zoom call was still bad. Is there a work around with this that you know of? If not, is there something that's similar to Zoom (like GoTo Webinar or Google Meet) that would work better? By the way the playback of my face and facial features as I was recording of that Zoom call, came out great. So that's why I'm puzzled about this. Whatever input you can provide would be great. Thank you.

    • @MacVideoMagic
      @MacVideoMagic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would try using Keynote Playback mode, but use the "playback slideshow in window" feature. That way you can run your slideshow, but still have access to Zoom controls. Then make the Keynote playback window full screen and capture your screen through Zoom. Probably a good idea to reduce your monitor resolution to 1080p. The "Advanced/Portion of Screen" setting may be adding extra processing load, slowing things down.

      @ladmandiola8868 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MacVideoMagic Thanks. I actually took a bit more time to search what it was I needed and used the "Playback Slideshow" instead of "Rehearse" and it smoothed things out just a tad better. BUT, when I did it in Full Screen mode (even in 1080p), it was just as bad as before. It makes sense anyway that recording in "full screen" mode on a 32" monitor (regardless that it's 1080p or 4K), I had to make the Slideshow screen around 1058x595px (1/4th the size in 4K mode). Also, I tried out the 1/4th sized Slideshow in 1080p and it was no different in its smooth playback than doing it in 4K. In fact done in 4K in 1058x595px looked sharper. But now it's fully tested and tweaked the way that now works. At least for me. Again, thank you for your help.

    Can you help Michael or followers - Connecting my iPhone SE2 by wifi or lightning/USB2 cable (I switched off wifi to ensure hardware connection) I have a delay - any way to rectify. If I connect my iPad pro 2021 by USB C it only reflects screen mirror and not camera with background removal - am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance (up to date with Ventura 13.0.1 and keynote 12.2.1)

    • @MacVideoMagic
      @MacVideoMagic  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi John, don't think you can't use your iPad or iPhone camera in Keynote Live Video, it only captures the screen. What iOS is on your iPhone SE2? If you're running iOS 16 or higher (and Ventura, which you are) you can connect your iPhone in Continuity Camera mode.
