I've been looking for videos showing this watch on a tiny wrist since I haven't had a chance yet to see one in person. I even thought the smaller Apple Watches were too clunky for my 5.25" wrist, but I really want this one as a scuba diver.
The backtrack feature will be perfect for when I need to find my way back to the couch after getting a snack from the fridge!

Apple did all sorts of things wrong marketing this watch for “elite athletes”…….if you want better battery and enjoy a larger watch and can afford it, you should get it. Their marketing was counter intuitive.

Watched a few other AWU reviews already. But only when you mentioned the orange on the buttons it finally clicked: This design reminds me of the beautiful Sony Ericsson W800i Walkman phone I once owned. Which is funny, since Apple got its inspiration from Sony’s earlier design language.
I had that same phone! And I agree with the orange is cool because of that.
Really love the “normal person” perspective. If someone likes something and they can afford it, there shouldn’t be a need to justify it. I think that’s yolo? Do kids still say that?

I am in a wheelchair, and fall detection is something I have on. I never know when it will come in handy, it’s better to be safe than sorry.

Wasn't going to get it, went to the store yesterday and tried it and loved it so I am getting one. The Alpine band in orange looks great and it's so comfortable.

Lmao it’s 2:35am and I’m finishing this video with the same exact watch/band on my wrist thinking how great I’m going to sleep after this video…it’s so comfortable to sleep with it and the band I’ve been thinking must be the most comfortable band/watch combo that exists!!…I have pretty thick wrists tho so it feels like a little wristband, even was forgetting it’s there the first days I got it because I never usually wore watches to look at the time or anything…usually just for the look😂

Love it. This could absolutely make me upgrade my Apple Watch. Jenna, you have to get your PADI certification for scuba. It’s a while nother world. You’ll love it!
You’re old band would work fine. I’m using my old sports loop and it fits better on my Ultra than my old Apple Watch! Also, I don’t notice the watch when I’m sleeping.

Hi Jenna. I thought the same thing about not upgrading to Apple Watch series 8 until I saw this Watch. I have a feeling that Apple will sell a ton of these.
for the same price I was paying for the stainless steel, it made sense for the extra features and longer battery life!

Iwatch Ultra looks Ok I’ve seen it in person it’s big it’s nice but it’s Bulky so I’d rather wait for the next model maybe they need to slim it a little bit there is nothing difference from the rest of the iwatch they just added some few little stuff so I’ll stay with my SE I’m happy with mine

You should totally get scuba certified. I did it with Ecodive Center off of Sepulveda and they did a great job. I also have gone diving since I had covid so you can definitely do it and be fine, though I will admit my lung capacity is not the same post covid which it's only been a few months, but still not great. Though I will also say I don't think the Apple Watch should be a sole dive watch for the most part people I know who did get it plan to use it as a backup watch you don't want life saving equipment to go out while diving and the fact that this uses an app is another issue at the moment since it's pay to play when other dive watches arent, but I'm so excited to see the dive channels on YT test it out.
Im sorry to hear that about your lungs! I'm also struggling with that, but I doubt I will ever be a professional scuba diver anyway haha
