Never come across that uranium glass before.Holding on to that could give an energy boost! A good honest hunt, but at least some wild silver turned up.Cheers mate.
A lot of it is called depression glass. Some glows, some doesn’t. Never thought of the energy boost side of it 😂. Very happy to find the silver. Always puts a bright spot in the day. 😁👍

Gday Gadzee. Buttons and silver🤣🤣. Yep that’s close. A lot of potential all around there. Found a few more acres close by on Saturday. Good hunting area. You take care too mate 😁👍
You'll have to try a UV torch on sapphire and ruby, old stamps and banknotes watermarks was our start, gemstones, moved onto rave party art, back to gems and deco and depression glass. Back to rave parties is next, ha.

Nicw work Andrew, that glass is crazy, I've seen glass sculptures set up under UV lights, they looked amazing. Well done on your other bibs and bobs, another interesting hunt. Cheers Pete

Hi Andrew, great find’s mate but what’s fascinating Is i don’t know anyone who walks around with an ultra violet light in their pocket 😂😂, you are the first person i know lol 😂, hope your having a great day mate 👍
Gday Jim. To be fair, the torch lives in the console of the Ute. Went back and grabbed it for filming. I have wondered around on a full moon night in dump sites with that torch looking for uranium glass. Doesn’t give out much light then🤣🤣. Thanks for watching mate 😁👍
Had a short hunt today, first decent find, a shotty end! The next was one of those saw handle bolt clampy screw things! I'm certain that's not what there called but unfortunately I can't find my CBK terminology bible to set me straight. Preparing for the silver sniff I had this thought, being that it's a 50%er, should I only be using one nostril !. Actually I don't have much choice in that at the moment. And I'm wondering about the wisdom of your daughter surrounding herself with radioactive glass. Next time you see her, turn all the lights off, or use your special torch to see if she glows in the dark. Well I'd like to carry on a bit more, but I'm either getting crook or getting to old for my age. Hope your both doing well, and your young'ns too. Thanks for giving me an extra outing to top up my hunting expedition, And for topping off the day for me! Cheers Andrew, Cheers Viv! All the best!

@@greedygringoprospecting6941 no it doesn’t but it just tweaks it a little to make the 900 just a bit better. Change coils when you want and it’s practical. If you want depth on the beach, don’t put on the 6”. No use running the 15” in dense scrub where you can’t get it close to the ground 😁👍

Hazardous Historical Everyday Elements Edition, Mr CBK, & Viv! Formalin, asbestos, lead, not this time, though, and the heaviest natural element! As long as you don't wear the uranium glass as a neck ornament, or leave food in it, safe, and overcome our misgivings, finding very agreeable designs and effects. We've a Murano late 60s single cigar ashtray with plutonium and uranium, a blue/green glow. Bit of a score, as it is by a known designer. Wet hone the glass with gloves and mask, we're even way warier with radium in watches, tritium safe if over 30 years, but maybe not yet, so no go anyway, safe disposal of sandpapers, gloves, mask and rags via the chemists, like we did our Wu SARS-2 waste and unused medications. Make for nice paperweights! Don't want it accumulating in the environment, although we did wonder if folk in the NT detecting might want to know the target IDs for uranium?! I'd rather keep away still! I don't have a H.R Giger counter, lol 🌰🐿️😅 Much ground to cover until the regrowth, and aren't the flora exuding their oils into the nostrils with this hint of warmth arriving, marvellous! Stay safe and happy-go-lucky you go, when you get the opportunity, take it!
