What a great day out CBK. That ink bottle is beautiful, after 15 years in the glass factories, I have a soft spot for bottles and jars. Is it just me or does it seem like there must have been a lot of half naked women out there in the 1800’s, can’t believe how many corset fasteners you find. Thanks for sharing
Gday Jeff. It is a great little bottle. I have a soft spot for little bottles. If you go back through the history books I think you will find there was🤣. I do seem to have a good collection of them. Thanks for watching mate 😁👍
@@TheCoffeeBushKid Well, if the water killed the possum, I wouldn't be drinking it either! Just as well I brought my own supplies! I faded pretty quick last night, and I'm off to do some fire wood splitting shortly, I'll be back to bug you sometime this Arvo, if I've got the energy! Cheers Andrew!
I knew straight away that I was watching The button and corset fastening guy! Wait a minute, this blokes copying CBK with the sniffing of the silver! I'll have to report this copy write breach! Only joking, I wouldn't know who to report it too!... Well! You may have noticed it's not Sunday arvo, Yep! I was tuckered out, and here it is four days later, just finished a little painting job at home and came in for some lunch, but something was niggling at my brain telling me I had forgotten to do something, then I remembered, and that's why I'm here, for my regular harrassment of the Coffee Bush Kid. Just when you thought you were safe to check the comments, no such luck! Third Silver down and sniffed, which is a bit difficult with a partially blocked shnoz. Well that was a first, I actually found a fishers lid before you did, something to brag about! I saw the H and S on that badge and thought High school! Only because of an Eltham badge I found a while ago. Change of clothes required, because as usual, there's more paint on me than on the wall, I should forget about the paint brush or roller and just roll myself around the wall, the job would be done in half the time! Anyway! It's always good to go out detecting with CBK And to leave a comment when I'm finished. Cheers Mate!
After seeing how fast you dug for that Fishers Polishing Wax Lid,I might have to try one of those sangers of Legends too.Save a lot of digging time.Great hunt Andrew with some wild silver and other goodies coming up.Looks like a great spot.Keep up the good work and take care.Cheers mate.👍
Gday Gary. Eat one and you’ll be like the 6 million dollar man. You’ll do everything better stronger faster. Very happy with the finds. Been back a couple of times now. Still more there to do. Take care mate 😁👍
Thanks for sharing another great adventure Professor CBK. Glad to see you got some wild silver this trip out been a but quite this year. Like the ink bottle and the rest of your finds. Keep up the great work and see you on the next one. Cheers mate. 👌👌👌👍👍👍👍🤜🤛
Cheers, Andrew, I'll be cheerful an entire week for the mention! The 1920M 3d., nice grade, rarer, sought after, nicest of the sylvan trio. It is a characterful lump of glass, the inkwell, with two ledges to perch pens on, and it has just occurred to me, one may have used a candle as a stopper, as you pen your willing apologies to the maiden, for having driven her to so vigorously uninhibiting herself of her corsetry, that the fastenings went flying hither and yonder... to Maiden Gully?! That's where our tub of honey called "Whipstick Gold" comes from, goes great with Mayver's's smooth peanut butter in a sandwich. 🥪 Our family is fond of sliced beetroot, too. The Croatian beet word "cicle" is a corruption of the Greek "tsikle", like "tzatziki", but we've further corrupted it to the word, "ticklers", so with the yummy, freshly sliced leeks, and zingy fluoro yellow relish, it'll be a tickler of a sandwich! Oh, the onion weed all through our waterways, the Irish, Welsh and Cornish call that "three-cornered leek", Allium trigonium - flame-barbecued, like the Basque and Catalonians do, delicious, as long as it's from a creek you're totally certain doesn't get agricultural or worse runoff! Huzzah, again, Mr CBK, & to Viv! 🪶📃🍯...💃
Gday Gabi. No worries about the mention. Thought you would ask the question. Was a nice ink well. The 1920 was a nice thrip. It is amazing how many corset fasteners I seem to find. Always happy to get one though. I do love those sandwiches. Leek just adds an extra layer of taste. Around this area it called three cornered jack. Maybe because of the Cornish. Thanks for watching mate 😁👍
I have jars full of marbles, so I have all of someones marbles. 😂 Do kids nowadays know how to play marbles? Great hunt with the 9" coil. That last silver had great details. Thank you and g'day Andrew.
Gday Marta. Glad you have the marbles in safe keeping. They probably don’t. Even when I was a kid it wasn’t a thing in the 70s. The 9” did well. Does seem to be able to sniff out the silver. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍

Gday Crouch. It is amazing what is still out there to be found. Very happy with the ink well. Great little bottle. Thanks for watching mate. Hope all is well 😁👍
Hi mate, interesting thoughts about your choice of coils & sanga! 😋 Although i dont have the 9 I've had recent success in heavy iron with the M8 in max recovery, lower sensitivity, fully open & moving slowly over iron hot spots where I'd been before, pulling out two early thick penny's I'd missed with the 11". Separation is the key 👍
Gday Rex. That is the thing to do with your settings. I swap between the two coils. Searching and light trash M9. High trash M8. Both great coils. Well done on the pennies 😁👍
Wild silvers away. 😂 A great hunt , ink bottle very cool stay safe out there Cheers mate
I was very happy with the finds Terry. The ink bottle is a ripper. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
