Hi, I travelled back to Europe in first week of Oct in Emirates. As per the airlines instructions, I took RTPCR 48 hours before travel. So I just took that alone. Even before entering through security at the entrance someone spoke like we have to take this Rapid test which I did not take. I was wondering whether Emirates would ask me to take this Rapid test again at airport. But they asked only the test taken 48 hours before. So I believe this Rapid test at airport is just a scam. Always check with your airlines.
Rapid pcr test is made mandatory for people travelling to UAE. Not needed for European countries.

Happened with me when I reached Chennai from Qatar by end of august despite holding RT-PCR test prior to departure and vaccine certificate after 2 dose of vaccine….Argued and fought with them…Complete negligence nu AAI and concerned officials…Passengers with long layover need to suffer

How the health department keeping quit? Some people missed their flight due to not getting the rapid test report in time. Really we don't know what is going to happens in the name of covid19? Some womens were crying since they missed the flight.

Irfan one thing you should say to passengers. The rapid pcr test is only need for Dubai passengers. Not for every country bro. Rt Oct before 72hours is more than enough who fly to other countries.

Complete negligence of Hindlab, airlines and airport authority
Civil Aviation Regulatory in India should take severe action. You can't blame the airlines for this, the airline can not hold a plane for certain passengers due to Hindlab's mismanagement.
@@Hawk3rR Airline could have checked the status of the passengers who have reported and given flying confirmation, I'm not telling for this situation alone, for any situation may be that passenger could have been in emergency help too. So airline also should hold responsibility to some extend

I flew to Chennai recently and trust me when I say this, our airline staff did check multiple times via calls and in person, Hindlab never provided or gave a valid answer. Our flight dispatcher, airport check-in staff and gate staff, they all kept checking the status of many passengers, some made it and most missed out. It is unfortunate but what to do, end of the day we have to get our flight back to home base by departure time.

I took my RT PCR test at Cochin airport they charged 2499 and excellent service. It's take 20 min. To get the result. And also the PCR tests in private labs charging only 500 in Kerala state.

There was a server down issue in the lab for 2 hrs and was a sudden incident . The lab cleared the issue with the support of IT team and made all arrangements and support to the passengers .

I too had issues with Hindlab, while returning to India from the Philippines, back in April. The testing was done in the most unhygienic way. No social distancing, it was worse than a local city bus-stand. I was sure I would contact the disease the way the testing was done, the lab assistant didn't even change the gloves, no ppe, and it was marathon testing going on, as three international flights landed at that time. I was tested negative from here. But the fifth day of my quarantine I was tested positive. Everywhere else during my travel I had taken so much of precaution.
