Our Jersey/Brown Swiss is about to have her second calf and we are missing her milk - can't wait to get milking again soon! ♥ I notice a big difference if my kids drink something other than raw milk - they've been much healthier since we've switched. We're drying up our cow now and she will have another calf in a couple months. I'll miss our fresh raw.milk!
Do you sell some of the milk in your community? That's a lot of milk every day.
We shared with the calf, so on days when we didn't need milk, she'd be in the same pen, or separated overnight, so we can milk in the morning.
How long does the milk last before it turns bad?
Unpasteurized milk is nasty in my opinion. I've. Tried it..I'll stick with paterize. Milk

You either have no kids, or you just have 1. I have 2 children, and there were plenty of times when I'd ask my son (the older of the 2) to watch his sister for a minute or two!
