If you create the plan in the same style and lift it up to the mid height of the elevation of the foliage.. it will contribute to realism of thr tree in isometric views without significantly adding complexity.. PS, the 2d elevation should be a face me setting.. TomToms randon scale and rotate is a must have to make the scene more naturalistic
One addition would be to put all the tree tags into a tag folder. That'd let you torn on and off all your trees with one click.
