Some people call them crash bars but they protect your controls when you drop the bike prevents it from tipping over any further. And you can add foot pads to them to rest you feet on long rides. But also for looks.

@Tracy Sowich nice! I wish I knew. These bars have since been destroyed. The bars did their job though and well. The guy riding wasn't injured more than some road rash.

Did you have any trouble with the top bolts?
They was a little tricky but a wobble extension helps greatly.
Do you have part number for the Cobra Highway bars and will they fit on my 950
Im honestly not sure. Are you referring to the 950 bolt? And as far as the part number I do not. I wasn't the one who purchased them.
