I just ordered mine from Amazon $88-. I can't wait to use it. I have another VERY expensive iron but, the long cord is really starting to annoy me. I hope this one works out for me! thank you.
Do you know if any of the other panasonics keep that setting light on when you take it off the base, or indicate when it's time to reheat? Thanks! Great video by the way!
Great review. Thanks for sharing all the great details. I have a couple different irons I'm currently using. My wife will think I'm totally nuts if I buy another one. But....when one of mine goes bad, this will be a great replacement! Thanks again!
I've only just started watching your vlog recently. Literally the day before this one, my iron packed it in. I have a Panasonic coming...sadly they ran out of pink :^( Gold will be fine LOL.
Amy, now that you've been using your new cordless Panasonic iron for a while I really have to ask you is it as great as you thought it was when you first got started with it? I have read mixed reviews. I have strength issues and I own a rowenta with a retractable cord that coils up in the base of the iron. As much as I love it it's hard for me to lift and I ended up buying a $12 little steam iron when I was making masks just so that I could keep sewing but it isn't enough to do a great job. I'm seriously considering a cordless model. I love your videos by the way but I did notice that the iron that you had that died was quite old so my first thought was any of the newer irons would be an excitement! Please give me the straight scoop on what time has taught you about this iron. I don't want to make an investment in something that really doesn't work like it should. Thank you for your time and thank you for your videos. I have a Facebook friend who is going to be learning how to sew and your videos are some of my favorites. I will be sure to share them with her.
Susan. Thank you for your note. I appreciate your kind words about my channel!😊 I have to say I still love this iron. I have now used it to iron my husband’s dress clothes, garments while making and have used it for quilting. I love that it is lightweight and can be used multidirectionally (pointed on front and back). I do find that I have to return it to the cradle to reheat after about 3-4 minutes off the cradle. Also, the heated service is medium. Not small, but not large either. It takes me a bit longer to iron a dress shirt, but I don’t mind. I hope this helps. Good luck!
@@yoursewingteacher1729 I really appreciate your response. You're pretty speedy! I think I will put the iron on my wish list and when my husband asks me what I want for my birthday and our anniversary in October I'll give him a picture. I don't iron clothes often because the minute my husband puts a shirt on it's thrashed. Living in Arizona it gets soaked with perspiration as soon as it hits your skin, and we don't get dressed up often enough to iron since we're both retired. Mainly I use an iron for sewing and those occasional times when the shirt needs to be touched up any place where it shows. By the way I've heard you mention your child or children a few times in videos and I get the impression that they aren't little bitty kids. I can't believe it because you look so young! The older I get the more that parents look like kids themselves. Our daughter is going on 37 and she has gone out with friends in the last few years and been carded because they didn't believe she was old enough to go into an establishment that served drinks with their music. She's not even a drinker! It is always played her and I am just the opposite. When I was growing up my mom had to carry my birth certificate to prove that I wasn't as old as I looked or I'd have to pay adult ticket fees at the movie theater and other entertainment places. It's always to your advantage when you look younger than you are because you will appreciate it when you get to be my age. Have a great day and keep on sewing to stay happy. Sewing and crafting are the only things between me and depression.
@@PKEDRM I’m so glad you have sewing and TH-cam! My kids are all teens. In my video tomorrow, I share the screen with my adult daughter, as we take thrift store finds and flip them into new outfits. I appreciate that you think I look young. I tell people that my chubbiness keeps me young as it fills in the wrinkles. Lol.
@@yoursewingteacher1729 funny because I say the same thing! I lost 200 pounds and aged rapidly. The 'girls' went first. I have gained back nearly half of what I lost, the 'girls' are back, and I look a bit younger because some of the wrinkles are gone! At 67 I don't think I can keep them at bay much longer though. And... you're not chubby. You're curvy! Much better than being a Twiggy - but you probably don't know who she was.😁
I have the same one, blue color. Very happy with it. I use only distilled water to avoid minerals buildup.
I also purchased and so pleased. Thank you for the review. The size is perfection for my sewing room.
So glad you are happy.
Glad I saw this review. Thank you.
Hope it helps! Thanks for watching.
Just ordered mine thanks for the tip and review.
Hope you enjoy it! It really is fantastic. Thanks for stopping by the channel and watching the video.
Totally agree with you love this iron.
It was the best Valentine’s Day gift I ever bought myself! Lol
Been looking at a similar one... I have an old cordless one and love it but it needs replacing...thanks for this.
Thanks for watching. This is a fantastic iron! Love it.
Thanks getting it soon.
Model # is WL607 you said in the video but the title says WF607. I wondered if it was a new model. WL is correct. 😊
I absolutely love mine! I actually get excited now when I have something to iron! 🥳🤣
Me too! Glad I’m not the only one! Lol
Thank you!
Very good review. Thank you very much from India.
I had one, I loved it too. Stopped working for me, felt so bad. Hole you have better luck after a year.
Sorry to hear that, I hope it lasts longer than a year! Thanks for stopping and watching.

Still love mine. Retractable cord on base and cordless iron. Can’t beat it.
Hi, Amy. Handy info. Thanks for the specifics. I love to iron. Will keep this info in mind when my current one dies. From Cheryl in AZ
😁I still love it!
Please share your views after long term usage and also about durability

Hi Michael. Thanks for stopping by and watching. Love all the comments. Thanks for engaging!💜
If I have it on steam and put it back on base, will stop steaming the base?
Regards Christine 🙋♀️🇦🇺👍🏻🤔😊🤩
Nice to see you again Christine!
I really need one
It really upper my ironing game. With no cord and the 360 degree plate...so fantastic!😁. Thanks for watching!
@@yoursewingteacher1729 I can imagine so, I can out press a professional with a corded one
@@cornbreadfedkirkpatrick9647 fantastic!!
Does it produce a lot of steam? I find the 108” quilt backing fabric on bolts has deep set in wrinkles.
It produces enough for me, but not sure it would eliminate those
Wrinkles

I really like this iron, but after about 6 months it started to leak and never really stopped. That is my only complaint.
With a one year warrantee did you take it back? I hope that doesn’t happen.
I didn’t, my fault, I just was very disappointed because it was a great iron up till then
@@chrislaplant8748 too bad. I really hope that doesn’t happen. Do you use it as a dry iron now?
Yes I do. I, just like yourself, hate the cords in my way. Like you TH-cam’s.
@@chrislaplant8748 thank you. Thanks for watching😊
