Jack of all trades....I like the bead idea. Over the years I have used those small glass rattlers and I attach them right behind where your palmer the marabou with UV gel. I have tried using the small beads in the past and I did have problems with solid hook sets at times. Apparently you do not have that problem so it is a outstanding pattern and method. Thanks for sharing.
I run them on a few different rods. St Croix premier medium light-medium heavy, with Seaguar Fluorocarbon. Then a tfo eight weight rod. Not sure the real, but depending on flows either sinking line or floating.
hey like the jig the problem I see is Ill bet you lose alot on the take with the beeds sliding till the bend should tie behind the back bead guarantee you hook more

Never had the opportunity to target salmon or steelhead, But I’m sure it would.
After fishing,You let the Marabou Jig dry and hang them up?
I will share a little video of what I do. Thank you for the question.
Great tie! What rod, reel, line setup do you use to fish jigs?
