Black bottom with purple maribou on top is the ticket for our area. One thing I do is switch to red thread after I tie off the chenille and build a nice red thick thread bump right behind the head, maybe they key in on the red like it's injured?
Great 8-10 foot depth jig Thanks

I definitely need to experiment with more colors. This one has just work too well. Thanks for the positive feedback.

I’m a major marabou jig fan and I tie them. Mine are very plain and I like to be able to put on a small piece of plastic for weight. I’m definitely going to take your ideas modify And make an alternate version of my jig. Thanks!

Some of the most simple jigs are the most deadly, but the complicated ones are fun especially articulated. I also enjoy adding plastic it can be a game changer.

@@jack_of_all_trades_8019 I just had a six day run and almost all were caught on marabou

Just did my best to make this. A few suggestions is it would be nice if it was more instructional and we could hear what you’re saying as well as a little slower for beginners like me

Black jigs work the best for me no matter what time of the day/weather 😎

My favorite jig for fishing at night. For some reason the marabou got gunked up so I broke it off leaving a marabou stub and the same Krystal flash you used. The smallies killed it when I bounced it off the rocks, walleyes too. I've caught catfish on smaller jigs in black but with just the marabou wrapped "popsicle fly" style. Thanks.

Lazy m an tying jig ,using two maribou tail and no hackle ,lead head not painted ! Looked okay when finished but I bet that tail looked like a mop going through the water !

You’re probably right, but the fish still eat it! No heckle feather or paint needed.

Great jig .... can you turn the nice soothing music up, so no one can hear anything you are saying? Great, thanks.

I (think) this is a very useful video. Can't tell for sure b/c the audio sounds like a mumble and the music drown out the mumbles & makes it worse. Thanks for the effort though!

Why are you tying on jig heads with collars? That’s weird.

@@jack_of_all_trades_8019 The jig is great, I just mean using a jig head that has a collar instead of buying them without collars
