    Good research sources :
Stuart Bray and Todd Debreceni have a great podcast called 'Battles with bits of rubber'. There's an episode called 'Foam Latex, its smelly but good'. This is great to listen to as they cover a lot about using Foam latex and common issues and mistakes.
    makeupfx.libsyn.com/
They also cover Foam Latex how to in Neills Prosthetic Magazine (issue 6 Spring i believe) available at: www.neillsmaterials.co.uk/product/prosthetics-magazine-issue-6-spring-2017/
Todd has his own special effects book too in which he covers EVERYTHING including Foam Latex. Available at: www.amazon.co.uk/Special-Makeup-Effects-Stage-Screen/dp/024081696X/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_14_img_0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=APQJHD37FM74NN2T4BYP
Also if you can get your hands on Stan Winstons 'Character Makeup - How to run Foam Prosthetic Appliances with Cory Czekaj' it is definitely worth a watch and is super informative! Available at: www.stanwinstonschool.com/tutorials/character-makeup-making-foam-appliances
