    I recently made a set of grips and arm from red oak..I used a router to channel it and a block plane to plane it down.Came out great!

    Great stuff Brett, looking forward to part two. You do realise, that if you cut some wood from your made up plank, you could make a smaller plank, out of the one piece of wood!!!! :).

    Should leave more wood on barrel end to mount stud for a set of pods
