Shame you can't explore Springfield in the PSP, PS2 and Wii versions of the game.
I was really disappointed when i found that out, my friend had it on 360 and i assumed it was the same game on ps2
They should've made this a fully open world with drivable cars etc...
Dlc was planned but It didn't sell enough for them to work on it. Their was actuslly a few more interiors for the base game too like the retirement home.

@@kimsoo16 oh it was check the cutting room floor simpsons it shows the area's that would have been added had the game bern popukar enough. Such as springfield mall. The lard lad area, the nuclear plant ect.
@@Spicystachegamerthe game didnt sell enough??? Man. I can only imagine that was because of the PS3 having low sales numbers itself. I thought and still do think it was one of the best titles the PS3 had for a few years there.
We need a Simpsons game like Dragon Ball Z Kakarot. An open world adventure game that also follows the plots of certain episodes
What I love about this game is that I get to hit npcs in this game.

I can't help but think that the hub world is unfinished as there's bridges that would probably go down as you progress to leather levels such as level 3 lisa the tree hugger, and level 8 shawow of the colossal donut. This will also make sense about the number of cars around the world and why there are different buildings which should be in different areas of the map and the amount of mapc that comes and goes when you charge characters. The level the day of the dolphin has a part of the map that you can only go to in that to in that level.i feel that the different places of the open world were meant for the prayer to complete ghe level and then after the levels thay would open up in the open world
shame this game didnt have trophies on ps...ive 100% a couple times on xbox
