- Did you ever play The Simpsons Game? You either loved or hated this game growing up. Today, we decided to go for all Xbox 360 Achievements in The Simpsons world.
We have some hilarious moments, some semi difficult Achievements and a great time reminiscing on the old Simpsons Episodes with the incredible storytelling.

The hardest achievement for me to get was the Rock You Like A Hurricane segment with zero mistakes.
I wasn’t sure I’d be able to do it, and left it unfinished for six years. This year after picking it back up for a Simpsons Marathon, I accidently did it by mistake, and immediately wondered why I had so much trouble before.
I thought I'd have more trouble with the achievement to be honest.
Wow! So happy you went back to it and got it done. I wondered the same. It definitely seems daunting, but in the end it's not that bad. Just some trial and error I guess! 🤷
I was able to finish the game with that segment 3 times
@@gerardoramon9270 glad it wasn’t so rough for you man I never was good at Guitar Hero or DDR and I think being younger kinda makes those situations harder than they need to be.
I can beat hot laps in CTR with zero effort and full blue fire no problem, but for some reason can’t focus enough to move in two directions at the exact same time. It figures.
Memories from the childhood, this game is one of my favourite underrated gems
A stable for the childhood collection! It's not the Simpsons Hit N' Run but it's just as good in its own right! The humour is top tier in this game!
3:32 Trivia: The line spoken is a homage to Batman(1989) that had a similar line in the scene where Bruce Wayne's parents, are murdered, spoken by the killer.
I knew it was from Batman Begins but didn't know it was that scene, so cool! Shows that they took time with the writing. 🥲

By far my most favourite game as a kid but as a child I could never beat the super happy funtime level so it's nice to live vicariously through someone, I'd love to get my hands on it again

I went through this game this year for the achievements. Had an absolute blast with it, such an under rated gem. Glad to see a content creator giving it some love as well! ❤

Such fun levels! I always replayed the first mission, just something about the chocolate level I loved so much! 😄
In the cutscene meeting the pixelated Simpsons, Lisa's prediction about the PlayStation 4 was actually true. No wonder why people say The Simpsons predicted the future, even though some of it was true and most of it wasn't.
It's so bizarre how accurate they are with some of their predictions though... 😳
"Hey boy, look what appeared in my magic draw!" Classic.
This is how i know we are in a different dimension. When i played the game it ended with you running around a destroyed area to get to the mall and destroy the aliens. Theres no part in this game where that happens. Everytime i search for it nothing comes up
Ah man I rember this one, I got ot on the wii from gamfly and got about halfway through before having to return it.

Bart shooting a pine cone through the sawmill to hit the weak spot which then caused it to blow up reminded me of how Luke Skywalker blew up the 1st Death Star in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, except Luke fired proton torpedoes to hit/go inside the exhaust port, setting off a chain reaction which then led to the big **KABOOM!** Also, the thumbs-up at 11:58 was a reference to T2: Judgement Day ;)

I can't believe it that PS3 version don't have any fucking trophies set for the game. The same bullshit happened to Madagascar 2 and Kung Fu Panda
It was criminal! I wanted to go for the Trophies, but none in sight. 😔 Crazy how older titles weren't supported for Trophies but achievements were. 🙄

It was such a staple in the household! Played it so many times. 🔥
Still playing through Simpsons Hit and Run, I also own The Simpsons Game. But, oddly enough the 3D graphics from Hit and Run seem to have aged better than the attempt at cell shading in The Simpsons Game. Probably because it was made to span two generations of consoles. So they couldn't really push the graphics in the HD versions. Also that awkward mostly empty open world hub that is Springfield just feels like such a waste.
Completely agree! I still have fond memories of the Simpsons Hit N' Run, it definitely holds up still! The hub world for The Simpsons Game didn't have the charm like Hit N' Run did. 😪

I wish we could get more GOOD tv show games like South Park or the Simpson’s. It’s always nice to have a fun, goofy game to break from the mostly serious toned games released.
Completely agree! So thankful South Park have worked on a new game. Even though it's mainly Multiplayer, it's still cool. Hopefully both Simpsons/Family Guy will follow and bring something out in the new year. 🤞

Funny how simpsons predicted their own game getting forgotten, in the scene where you save the 8 bit simpsons Lisa mentions soon this game will be forgotten and I guess it’s true since hit and run gets all the attention and this specific simpsons game is considered “forgotten”

Truly shows the game wants u to replay story seeing as all collectibles basically make u unstoppable with infinite energy making speed achievements alot easier *cough* homer slam op *cough*
At the start I thought it would be a lot of copy and repaste, but I was pleasantly surprised! The time trials were actually fun, challenging but great for those completionists! 🏆

This video seems great, and I'd love to watch it all the way through but I feel like it would be a much better watch if the game audio was reduced more during your commentary

It was a short pick up for Bart. I think it was used only in two levels. Once you're on the platform you'll get the power up! 😄

Little confused as to how the achievement counter works in the corner of the screen.
So every time I unlock an Achievement, the counter will go up. The number on the right is the final number we need to complete the game. 😁🏆

It’s interesting to see how this version differs from the DS version that I grew up with (some of the cutscenes seem more extended etc)
It is definitely interesting. I played it on the PS2 and there were also some slight changes.
like the Truck escort mision from the war level wasn´t in my version. then in the japanese level there weren´t these turn based battles. and the last change I noticed, was in the matt groening boss fight, where in the ps2 version it was only a small room.
I had both and the games were very different
the whole treehouse of horror segment was turned to minigames aside from shadow of the colossal donut. and medal of homer and grand theft scratchy were completely cut. and there was more of a level to the creator level.
I had the DS, PS2 and 360 versions, the DS is most different and the PS2 one didnt have the open Springfield to explore like the 360 one. I did love the 360 and DS versions so much tho despite being so different and completed them both so many times lol
The psp one doesn’t let you free roam the city and has weird perspective lock

This game was always my go to when I’d be off school sick, lying on the couch eating crap and playing this, and at 25 I still do that 😂 so much nostalgia, I’m off to boot it up now 😁

What about the Alien spaceship boss fight level? It ends with a revelation that Sideshow Bob was in cahoots with Kang & Kodos and he gets defeated by stepping on a rake. I had the PSP version which didn’t have free roaming, but everything else you showed looked almost exactly like what I played through except for that glaring omission.

Unfortunately I left it out, just because it wasn't the most interesting level, even though the cutscene was hilarious! When editing I was worrying about the length of the video, and didn't want it to be any longer. Since how well the video has done, I'll keep this in mind for future videos. 🙂

I want to say the simpsons had like two good games and the family guy video games the only two they had where amazing in my opinion and kinda wished for a good remaster for back to the multiverse and this simpsons video game and a remake for the ps2 game of family guy and hit and run
Agreed! I never got to play the older Simpsons games, and never got the time to finish the Original Xbox Family Guy game. I'd love a remaster or bundle collection for all of them, including Futurama! 🥲

Brilliant game. I’m 23 and remember this and hit and run being the best two Simpsons games. Simpsons skateboarding was janky and annoyingly slow to move around and do tricks.
I liked how Ben Franklin mentioned him being in thug2.

On the PSP version the fantasy level's final act was an actual 3d playable part and you even like climbed inside a dragon with Maggie of something?
Oh man, I had no idea. Yeah, it was pretty simple on the 360 where you just hit the buttons inside the Dragon with Maggie. That would've been pretty cool to play.
@@MICHEALKARLIS my first time playing the 360 version my mind was blown to find a fully explorable Springfield as there was no free roam mode on the PSP, you could only walk around inside the Simpsons house and go in the backyard.
❤Hit and Run! ❤ Played it to death, back in the day. Easily, an all time favourite. It tops my list with Jet Set Radio Future and Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath.
Same! I remember going to my local Library and playing it on the Original Xbox before I begged my Mum to buy it for me. Such a terrific game! I never got to play Jet Set Radio, would love to check it out one day. 🙂
@@MICHEALKARLIS Jet Set Radio was released before Jet Set Radio Future, and it shows. It's not as polished as JSRF. At least that's my opinion.

Did you play this on an emulator? If so which one? I tried playing it but everything i did for the xbox 360 version it left the game unplayable :( I have great memories about this game but no longer have an xbox to play it
I played on the Xbox 360. I did have it on emulation ages ago, but for some reason the settings messed the cut scenes up. If you can get ahold of an Xbox again, I'd highly recommend revisiting, it was an absolute blast! ✨

I honestly loved this game as a teenager and I loved the animated parts, both the 2D and 3D. I really wish this would get ported, but nah, copyright laws are a shit and a half so I doubt it will ever see a rerelease.

i remember doing this and the last thing that took hours to find was the last cliche. which was it? the level with marge going to town hall. at the VERY START! invisible walls. i was so furious that i never tried to go over the cop car
Marge had some of the worst collectibles haha. I really struggled finding hers throughout the hub world, specifically the vents with Maggie. 😅 I also thought the same with the Cop Cars, so you're not alone with that one hahah.
