It is interesting to watch his creative process, since we know he is the master. These songs are raw, simplistic and undeveloped , but we know he could turn it into gold with his musical alchemy.
Twenty Flight Rock is the song he sang to impress Lennon with. It worked so he joined Lennon as a duo from then on. That’s how the greatest songwriting partnership started. He does great covers of Buddy Holly also. He bought the publishing rights for Hollys songs. A wise investment!
Saw this in the theatre last Thursday. Enjoyed it. Def had a 'home-made' feel. Wish that had a little more footage of the late Great Geoff Emerick. RIP, Sir..
Good ol blues and rockabilly workout, Buddy Holly, Chuck (including his Beatles audition Twenty Flight Rock). My parents were getting ready for their wedding in San Francisco ❤

The part at the beginning of this recording where he sings Blackbird wasn't filmed, I assume ? Too bad, because Mccartney had his sweet and powerful voice at that time and he improvised while humming this tune brilliantly, you would think you were hearing it at the time of the white album.

i absolutely loved the music in ONE HAND CLAPPING on the cinema, but watching McCartney was excrutiating, so full of himself, and this "backyard" section proved he absolutely loves himself !
McCartney is great! but sir cannot understand one thing that music does not sound in digital recording! it is impossible to listen to the wonderful album Egypt Station
The Backyard as an image of creation and fun has been on Paul's mind for a loooooong time before 2005.
and chaos

This is why Paul picked up a guitar and then the bass by default. He would be playing even if he wasn't successful.

1974, but looks like a recording from early sixties , fresh, natural, sincere tribute to Paul's cherished rockers.
Nah, 70’s hairstyle.

That's talent
...and Paul's joy of playing 😄and singing is so contagious and soooo .....incredibly romantic and seducing...😊
I’m convinced, Paul would have had a long successful career as a songwriter and solo artist, even if he didn’t join the Beatles in 1956.
The man does it all so well..
La più grande leggenda musicale vivente. Grazie Paul!
Saw it last week and It's amazing that the older releases looks better than the 2024 cinema release.
Great stuff from the Master. Thank you.
This lad’s going on places
Never saw this one. Thank you, Kitsu!

Great footage thanks for sharing this 🎤🇫🇮

Спасибо за редкие видео !
GENIOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
After hearing him do that Eddie Cochran song, I'd defineatly invite him to join the Quarrymen.

@@maximes7205 Blackbird wasn’t included in the final cut, but was surely filmed
Blackbird and Country dreamer are both missing from this video. But the audio of them is officially released on the 7'' EP and the streaming EP.
Leaving off "Sweet Little 16" from the Audio release was such a huge disappointment! Same thing with Suicide.
“Suicide” is one of my favorites 😭
Fantastic! Do you have the full One Hand Clapping?

Paul was the 60% of the beatles....
Lennon : hold my walrus
Percentage goes thus:
Paul 40% / John 30% / George 20% / Ringo 10%
70
@@thesilvershining more like 25% each think about
@thesilvershining Ringo was 90% the rest were filler at 3% each and 1% for Jimmy Nicol
Decent guitar player.
Why did you add your own water mark over top of this? It’s not like you own it or anything

He's paying tribute to the music that inspired him by himself with no band in a comfortable relaxed setting and manner.
So what if he loves himself? I love him too!
Exactly, I love him too!
