Melissa look up Bob and Brad physical therapist on youtube. Their advice and orotocol saved me from a 2nd back surgery. A chirooractor nearly crippled me. Blew a disc in adjustment then fragments. I still have 50 percent loss of left legs Also have multiple fractures... chriro will never touch me again. Be cautious and pray for wisdom. ❤Bob and bradtaught me how to heal my herniated disc and my torn meniscus. I couldnt even tie my shoes or dress myself. Worth a try.
😢 Hi Melissa , I'm so sorry you're in pain. And I agree, sounds like that lower pain is sciatica. Thats SO painful! I'm praying you feel better soon 🙏 I'm glad the 2nd chiropractor you saw actually listened to you and was more thorough in the check-up. 💖Hugs to you and Kody !
Sounds exactly like a ruptured disc in your s1, l5. The pressure from the disc is hitting your nerve, yes that's sciatica. Not only have I had this , I worked 8 years with it. However I worked in medical care, and part of those years were in urgent care at the hospital. We got tons of patients with back injuries . The only thing we could do, is give nerve medicine like gambipent. The only issue is , it doesn't take care of the pain until you have been on it for a week or so. Pain pills were given of course, but not now. The only thing that helped me, steroids for a week, and I would also get a shot at the office with Toradol, steroids and allergy meds. It would help tremendous!
Girl, I don’t do chiropractors, I’m a ex navy corpsman who worked ortho for 14 yrs and I also had a car accident. Anyway, when you have low back probs you should get a mri, after working at a factory they told me to suck it up and I had stenosis real bad and bulging discs, and had my back nerves burnt for 20 yrs. finially after feeling like I’m being crushed I had surgery to clean it up. I still have to watch out and rods are next. I don’t even go to physical therapy, they ruptured my sisters discs. You need to get some type of insurance for low income that can help you then see a ortho doc.also I take gabapentin, and that changed my like it’s a nerve blocker
I hope you feel better soon. I love getting adjusted. I hope the local chiropractor turns out to be a good one. ❤️🙏😊. Sounds like this chiropractor is a good one. Rest and take it easy!
Ughhh I'm so sorry!!! I'm feeling a little better after my last adjustment. I'm hoping after my next one I'll continue to improve. I'm not sure if was my sciatic nerve but it hurt so bad. I'll pray for you my friend, to get some relief. Hugs. 🩷🙏
So sorry you’re going through this! I get the trust with new chiropractor, I just went to mine and he said he will be going out on a medical it will be a long recovery for him. Have you considered massage therapy? My chiropractor said never get deep tissue if you’re in pain, he said” feel good” massage, like Swedish regular he stressed never deep tissue if you’re in pain. I hope the new chiropractor is good and listens to you! Feel better.
Hi Mellissa 👋. So sorry you're suffering so. I do hope you find the right chiropractor for you here. Every one of them the same as MD's have their own technique in practice; some just don't meet our needs at the time. This being the boonies has fewer options in a tiny town. There are a couple of very good massuses here right spelling? I've found in the past that has helped me especially days after an adjustment. I truly feel for you. My old body has it's issues & my neck has been out to the point had to be seen in the ER. Though lidocaine injections didn't help, the oral meds brought some relief with steroids ( I also don't like to take them but seriously needed it). Had a cat scan showing the narrowing of vertebral spaces & actual bone spurs. No wonder I hurt. So I sympathize with you. Also you may be a little behind on work. So prayers for your healing & funds for expenses 🙏💕.
Hi Melissa, I hope you feel better. How about seeing a physical therapist? I've had physical therapy for all sorts of aches and breaks that I've had. And they give you exercises to do. I don't know, what ever you are comfortable with. Also seeing a physician for meds too. There has to be something that you can take, not everyone can handle Motrin. Anyway, I hope you get relief, and yes speak up, we are our own health care advocates. Take care, feel better and hugs to Kody. 😊
I highly recommend the husband and wife team at Lawson Chiropractic off Hendersonville Rd behind Walmart in South Asheville. Tell them Valentina sent you. Hang in there my friend.❤
Probably is sciatica, I have severe arthritis on my bottom 3 vertebrae and chiropractor said sciatica nerve runs under the vertebrae, I have had it so bad couldn't sit down if I laid down had to have help getting up and that brought tears, was bad, hope you get relief soon
Melissa, That's so cool that channel watchers saw you & Kody in person! I agree with the people who are concerned that you should see a medical Dr. to have your back and ribs evaluated. Does walking or moving help your pain?
I had 2 back surgeries 1st was slipped disk and was taken out . Then in was in pain 20 years. And finally found good insurance and found out by mri that disks were rubbing together. So in 2022 i had fusion and now have rods ans screws in back. Now i have same issue on my C6&7. Its never ending.. I know what your goung thru. The pain will consume your life....
Ughhhhh I'm so sorry. I really am. Being in pain really takes it out of you, physically and mentally. I've tried to stay away from surgery, I'm sure a dr would recommend it for me. I just go to the chiropractor and they usually help me.
Hi Melissa - maybe you should go to a medical doctor to evaluate your problems. You seem to have issues that aren't going away with Chiropractors. Hope you feel better!😊
No, a chiropractor usually helps me. My back and ribs are issues that only a chiropractor has ever helped me with. I just happened to get a not so good one when i went to Asheville. My stomach issues though, i do need to see a gastroenterologist but without insurance it's impossible.
After your better you might consider physical therapy to learn a few exercises that can strengthen and stretch your muscles that are attached to your bones. They all work together, muscles bones joints.
I feel your pain. No offense to men but the best chiropractors I ever had were both women but they are hard to come by. I hope the one you found in Bryson City works out for you.
I’m sorry to say my husband had surgery for Sciatica, Dr said if he waited much longer it would not have been repairable. Also sad to say, he had to retire early due to bending over and doing surgeries.
@@italian_grl Were you a Cubs fan in Indiana, before the Italian Sisters in Chicago? Well I guess since there's no professional baseball team in Indiana, you'd have to pick one.

Feel better Melissa ❤

Does Tennessee have State Insurance for low income people to help them with medical issues?
@@calicat7794or maybe check into Obama care too👍🏻

Sciatica
I’m sorry to say my husband had surgery for Sciatica, Dr said if he waited much longer it would not have been repairable. Also sad to say, he had to retire early due to bending over and doing surgeries.
Sorry to hear that the adjustment didn’t work. That’s scary.😢. Do you have a heating pad to put on it?
Yes i do. I love my heating pad, it's been a lifesaver!! Unfortunately it doesn't help much with my nerve pain.
Heat then ice may help. Feel 5
Can your chiropractor refer so m eone close to you?
Gee Melissa, I think I'm going to have to send you a White Sox shirt. Nothing against, the "Sisters," I'm a South side fan, even with a bad season.
Lol nothing wrong with that. I've just always liked the cubs.

Hi, Kody
He says hello 🥰😊
You need to have your back adjusted. I have had sciatica since 1995.
no worries, meal videos are great. You can make some yummy meals.
Very true! The weather is gorgeous here! I can't wait to get out a little and explore soon.
