It isn't too late! I'm 48 and an empty nester and have held off on remarriage until my kids were grown. Now it is my time to find my perfect mate and live this life. Life is just beginning for me! A new chapter and a new start. Go out there and make it happen!
My mother grew up on a farm without electricity or running water, with an outhouse. They went to church in a horse and buggy. Grandma led the testimony service at church, and always prayed for anyone who was in need. So Titus reminds me of my mother and her family. This is a great reminder of my mom, who is in heaven now. I am old now so i know i may see Jesus and mom soon. God is good. His mercies are new every morning. I have been so blessed by this video.
When the wife and I moved to upstate NY to be near her family in Ottawa, Canada, we bought 30 acres to build a home on by ourselves back in 2022. During our travels around the area, we found some Amish neighbors who ended up becoming close friends. We purchased all of the lumber to build our house from them, they helped us raise the roof and put the roof on, and have been a constant in our lives since. We enjoy spending our time together and visiting whenever we can. In a few days, we're having a second "Frolic" on our property where the community will come together to cut down a bunch of old white pines and hemlocks for use in building a house and barn for our friends. We don't have a need for the pines (actually they're doing us a favor by cutting them down and hauling off the timber). We enjoy being able to help out the community whenever we can, and have made some amazing friends. We're off-grid ourselves although we generate our own power with solar, but we don't rely upon any outside sources for our daily needs either. We're lucky to have moved here without having any idea that it harbored the largest Amish community in our state. Sometimes, good things just find a way into your life.

@@carlmarker9257 It doesn't hurt to try. They're like everyone else, some are more open to answering questions than others. The things I discovered they prefer not to discuss are too personal questions about themselves or their faith and questions regarding the leadership of their communities. I've discovered that on long drives or time spent together at frolics, etc., they like to open up about things and will gladly voluntarily talk about the things they encounter in their daily lives. And finally, don't be afraid to ask them what they DON'T want to have asked about them or their community. Just ask them what's off limits as you wouldn't want to offend them, and you can feel free to let them know what you don't like discussing as well.

I have heard mixed experiences about Amish people but I like to make my own judgements. The way you open yourself up, tell everything about yourself, your strengths and your weaknesses, I believe you are a true good person. And even thou I am not rich and we don't share the same religious foundations, I can help you a little this way. Have you ever said to Jesus... Lord, if you are real, show me and I'll follow you. I know emotion matters in prayer from my own experiences. I'm 60 now and no longer filled with tons of emotion, but when I was younger and prayed with everything I had, the Lord actually cane to see me. I was so filled with awe that I couldn't speak. He is pure Love. I've never felt anything like it. It was the best day of my life. If you can find the emotion to truly want to know God, then give it another go. I stand in agreement with you that you gain experiential knowledge of Jesus.

I can't articulate just why I naturally "Like" this guy so much. His smile is so ..... pure. I feel like there's nothing deceptive in this guy's heart and he has morals and motivation to keep them. Nice, I had similar thoughts when watching him speak. Pure language, pure and simple words and yet no vulgarity which most people use to get their point across. His purity is overwhelming.

The taxes are so low because it is very rural land. We lived on a lake in INdiana and our taxes were way less than a thousand a year because it was a very rural county. We payed for our own trash collection, we had a well and the fire dept was volunteer. The roads were rural and well plowed in the winter and well kept up.
As someone who calls Casey County home, where I was born and raised, and who has actually met Titus over a decade ago, this is extremely surreal. Peter you do such a great job connecting with people,resonating with their culture, and the beauty of the land. I think it’s truly amazing that you somehow ended up in Liberty, Ky to find Titus, and build this beautiful friendship, and then proceed to profile him, and show him to the world in such a spectacular, and kind manner. Titus is how I remember him when I met him in 2012 at a field party close to the general area where you’ve been filming. He impressed the party goers with his simple charm, climbing up a tobacco barn with ease, and just with his presence in general. I’ve always remembered that night, because of Titus, and his impression he left on those around him. I’m so glad you guys were able to connect, and you were able to give Titus, and Casey County such a big platform to show its true beauty that is in those hollers, and rolling hills, and the kind human beings that it breeds.
And also for context, and not to shine any bad light on Titus, I vividly recall him not partaking in the degenerate actions that were ongoing. Lol Drinking, drugs, etc
How old was Titus then? I am kinda surprised he decided to attend, though it may have been because he hoped to serve as a positive influence. Who knows.

If I’m not mistaken, he was living very close to where this party was going on, and he was a teenager at the time, probably was just curious, and wanted to socialize with kids his own age. Also I’m recalling now, that he may have shoe’d horses for the host, and she may have invited him that evening.

I was brought up Catholic, Catholic school k-10 and mass every Sunday. I've never heard anyone talk about Jesus in such a sincere way as Titus does. Thank you.
Laura, my mom also grew up in a Catholic Church and it was amazing to see her faith flourish in her 60’s when she and my father started attending a non denominational bible based church. She died two weeks ago after suffering from dementia. I hold onto the fact she spent her last 20 years focused on Jesus in a way she never could growing up. She spent her last years of life reading God’s word and attending church with us at a non denominational bible based church that talked about Jesus, she found freedom in her faith. I hear the same freedom in how Titus speaks- he knows Jesus is more important than any church like dictate of it’s own rules. There is freedom in the name of Jesus! He is our Savior!
Although I was raised Catholic, I desired a close walk with Jesus. I found a Bible-believing church and have never looked back. There is nothing like having a real relationship with Jesus, and getting my prayers answered!
I can look at peter and tell that being around titus gives him peace in his heart as well. I live in a very small community in the country and watching titus still humbles me.
I wasn't going to watch this entire vlog in one sitting; 55 minutes later, I watched the entire vlog in one sitting. There is something about the way Peter portrays his experiences and Titus' demeanor is so calm and genuine that it's difficult to pull away from giving him time to speak.
My favorite thing about Titus is his honesty in a world were the average person is so lost morally that they have no trouble selling inferior equipment, food, services, products that will kill you, and also lie about anything to protect themselves. Thank God for Titus!

Like many, I was entranced by Titus. Thought he was the real deal until I heard about his recent past! He was into bestiality with horses since he was 13 years old. He’s a false prophet (predicted some things that never came to fruition) and is involved with a married woman!

Used to receive punishments for not wanting to attend church and I know a lot about modern Christian’s and the judgements they place on other people instead of focusing on their own development. This call for money is not from God its from Satan. I could understand when people would help to pay Titus shoes or a mental doctor or a second room for living. A home can be a church it always was it in the history of belivers. There is no need for such a building. Titus must learn to clean up his home and farm He is filthy dirty and a clutter king. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I clicked on this. I thought maybe it would be a nice piece on a man living an anachronistic life, but… I was wrong! Titus is very grounded, aware of his culture, and very involved in his community. His faith and clear mind allows him to let go of so much we think is essential, yet you get zero impression he lacks anything necessary to make him happy. God bless him-and that he find a good woman who is equal in her contentment, as warm in her spirit, and as sensitive to to Lord.
Note: Currently there is an ongoing court case involving Titus. The court hearing can be found on TH-cam. I did not know of any of these details before filming with him. It's unfortunate, and I hope the best for all involved.

My mother grew up on a farm without electricity or running water, with an outhouse. They went to church in a horse and buggy. Grandma led the testimony service at church, and always prayed for anyone who was in need. So Titus reminds me of my mother and her family. This is a great reminder of my mom, who is in heaven now. I am old now so i know i may see Jesus and mom soon. God is good. His mercies are new every morning. I have been so blessed by this video.

When the wife and I moved to upstate NY to be near her family in Ottawa, Canada, we bought 30 acres to build a home on by ourselves back in 2022. During our travels around the area, we found some Amish neighbors who ended up becoming close friends. We purchased all of the lumber to build our house from them, they helped us raise the roof and put the roof on, and have been a constant in our lives since. We enjoy spending our time together and visiting whenever we can. In a few days, we're having a second "Frolic" on our property where the community will come together to cut down a bunch of old white pines and hemlocks for use in building a house and barn for our friends. We don't have a need for the pines (actually they're doing us a favor by cutting them down and hauling off the timber). We enjoy being able to help out the community whenever we can, and have made some amazing friends. We're off-grid ourselves although we generate our own power with solar, but we don't rely upon any outside sources for our daily needs either. We're lucky to have moved here without having any idea that it harbored the largest Amish community in our state. Sometimes, good things just find a way into your life.

The things I discovered they prefer not to discuss are too personal questions about themselves or their faith and questions regarding the leadership of their communities. I've discovered that on long drives or time spent together at frolics, etc., they like to open up about things and will gladly voluntarily talk about the things they encounter in their daily lives. And finally, don't be afraid to ask them what they DON'T want to have asked about them or their community. Just ask them what's off limits as you wouldn't want to offend them, and you can feel free to let them know what you don't like discussing as well.

I have heard mixed experiences about Amish people but I like to make my own judgements. The way you open yourself up, tell everything about yourself, your strengths and your weaknesses, I believe you are a true good person. And even thou I am not rich and we don't share the same religious foundations, I can help you a little this way. I know emotion matters in prayer from my own experiences. I'm 60 now and no longer filled with tons of emotion, but when I was younger and prayed with everything I had, the Lord actually cane to see me. I was so filled with awe that I couldn't speak. He is pure Love. I've never felt anything like it. It was the best day of my life. If you can find the emotion to truly want to know God, then give it another go. I stand in agreement with you that you gain experiential knowledge of Jesus.
Being raised an atheist I believed that I had the same norms and values as Christians but without the god, as I discover faith I realize that I simply had the lowest common denominator morality and not a true moral structure or code.

The taxes are so low because it is very rural land. We lived on a lake in INdiana and our taxes were way less than a thousand a year because it was a very rural county. We payed for our own trash collection, we had a well and the fire dept was volunteer. The roads were rural and well plowed in the winter and well kept up.

As someone who calls Casey County home, where I was born and raised, and who has actually met Titus over a decade ago, this is extremely surreal. Peter you do such a great job connecting with people,resonating with their culture, and the beauty of the land. I think it’s truly amazing that you somehow ended up in Liberty, Ky to find Titus, and build this beautiful friendship, and then proceed to profile him, and show him to the world in such a spectacular, and kind manner. Titus is how I remember him when I met him in 2012 at a field party close to the general area where you’ve been filming. He impressed the party goers with his simple charm, climbing up a tobacco barn with ease, and just with his presence in general. I’ve always remembered that night, because of Titus, and his impression he left on those around him. I’m so glad you guys were able to connect, and you were able to give Titus, and Casey County such a big platform to show its true beauty that is in those hollers, and rolling hills, and the kind human beings that it breeds.
And also for context, and not to shine any bad light on Titus, I vividly recall him not partaking in the degenerate actions that were ongoing. Lol Drinking, drugs, etc

If I’m not mistaken, he was living very close to where this party was going on, and he was a teenager at the time, probably was just curious, and wanted to socialize with kids his own age. Also I’m recalling now, that he may have shoe’d horses for the host, and she may have invited him that evening.

I was brought up Catholic, Catholic school k-10 and mass every Sunday. I've never heard anyone talk about Jesus in such a sincere way as Titus does. Thank you.
What a shame for the official church that she rejected childlike faith and the power of it.
Laura, my mom also grew up in a Catholic Church and it was amazing to see her faith flourish in her 60’s when she and my father started attending a non denominational bible based church. She died two weeks ago after suffering from dementia. I hold onto the fact she spent her last 20 years focused on Jesus in a way she never could growing up. She spent her last years of life reading God’s word and attending church with us at a non denominational bible based church that talked about Jesus, she found freedom in her faith. I hear the same freedom in how Titus speaks- he knows Jesus is more important than any church like dictate of it’s own rules. There is freedom in the name of Jesus! He is our Savior!
Although I was raised Catholic, I desired a close walk with Jesus. I found a Bible-believing church and have never looked back. There is nothing like having a real relationship with Jesus, and getting my prayers answered!

a church is always build by belivers. Titus himself was not raised in a christian group nore is he a pastor or is under the protection of a pastor a apostle a bible teacher a evangelist. This call for money is not from God its from Satan.
I could understand when people would help to pay Titus shoes or a mental doctor or a second room for living. A home can be a church it always was it in the history of belivers. There is no need for such a building.
Titus must learn to clean up his home and farm He is filthy dirty and a clutter king. THAT is not biblical character. Thats the oposite.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I clicked on this. I thought maybe it would be a nice piece on a man living an anachronistic life, but… I was wrong! Titus is very grounded, aware of his culture, and very involved in his community. His faith and clear mind allows him to let go of so much we think is essential, yet you get zero impression he lacks anything necessary to make him happy. God bless him-and that he find a good woman who is equal in her contentment, as warm in her spirit, and as sensitive to to Lord.
