It has style and personality but not inherently funny in my opinion. Mulaney has been pretty funny when his earlier standup had more thought out observations and personal stories like in The Top Part or New in Town.

I guess this is why people said that half of comedy is the joke itself while the other half is the delivery. John Mulaney is so good with his delivery that I still laugh when I hear him telling a joke that I already knew what the punchline is.

His material gets funnier every time I hear it. I’ll just listen to his stand up instead of listening to music, and I’ll mouth along with all the words. He’s just entertaining.

idk about any of you but I've lost count of the number of times I've wished I could do exactly this. There are people, and then there are drivers who abuse the fact that they're in a motorized vehicle to harass others who happen to be on foot within their vicinity simply because they can get away with it. Those fucks deserve to have unopened soda cans chucked at them in response, if not rocks exactly the right weight to be throwable by hand and put a visible crack in their windows.
John Mulaney is addictive. I've tried other comedians, but I keep coming back to him. There is something very satisfying about Mulaney delivering a punch-line.
You know what else can be addictive? Cocaine and alcohol.

The bit I love about this sketch is that he has got Jagger’s mannerisms and quirks right down to a T, even down to the way he points at stuff and that frown he does on concert footage sometimes. He must have seen enough Jaggerisms and practised them to get that so spot on - and all for a five-minute sketch.

He's a writer primarily. He's not the best off the cuff really -- he's generally very abrasive and relies on insulting as his crutch. Not saying he's bad but just that he'd probably be a bad talk show host. I mean it might last a couple seasons and be pretty funny but it's not something that could last decades.
