"Boring" life stories are usually the best (assuming the person telling the story is halfway competent) because those are the stories that a lot of people can resonate with.
A good comedian can make watching paint dry hilarious. That's why i love mulaney
he has some of the wackiest stories ive ever heard 😂
He’s one of the best Standup comedians out there right now because he just talks about regular things like 90% of the time, he’s just really good at observational comedy and his delivery style is very unique. Plus, I’m a sucker for very dry humor, he’s the real deal.

He looks like Mat Pat’s and Grant Gustin’s alcoholic younger brother
You can really see the huge changes in his delivery and timing from here and his special where he does the same routine (gf meeting the parents). His pauses between phrases and his general tone are so much more professional now-though he is good here, too. Someone gave him some good advice and turned him from ‘good’ into ‘great’. I love it…he’s awesome!
I don’t know if you heard but Conan was announcing how New In Town was coming out that week. So it had already been recorded.

Funny that he talks about Ice T on SVU but doesn't mention how there's always "A new drug on the streets." There's a new drug on the streets called Pound Puppies, you snort it and before you know it, they're finding you naked in Central Park with a shock collar on, claiming all the trees.

I love watching this because he has a lot of this material in other places and you can tell how his delivery of each joke improves over time

He's the most relatable comedian..his JJ Bittenbinder bit is the best..im 4yrs younger than him n I was constantly afraid of bein kidnapped by some freak just like John was saying that he was worried about when he was growing up back in the early 90s..he's definitely one of the most underrated comedians out there

John Mulaney has the face of some ethereal timeless force of nature personified. He looks like someone who you just know could tell you he’s anywhere from 20 to 2000 years old and you’d believe him either way.

John Mulaney is absolutely hysterical... Probably one of THE best comedians out there. Just because he doesn't do dick and fart jokes doesn't make him "not funny". The "Salt and Pepper Diner" bit is pure comedy gold. Everyone should listen to that bit.
