I like when you use "older" palettes & products. I'm usually pretty behind the curve when it comes to buying new stuff since I tend to use certain products up before repurchasing (foundation & complexion products) With eyeshadow palettes I've been shopping my stash & mainly purchasing singles. I see palettes get released that I definitely like, but they're just too similar to what I have already to spend cash on right now. Hey Alicia❣️ I really appreciate how you encourage us to use what we have. Approaching Decadence as a “one-shadow look” palette makes it seem less overwhelming 😅 I am here for ANY tutorial you do demoing a new look with an old palette🌺

I'd never get tired of watching your pat mcgrath tutorials so I'm happy you revisit them 😊 it's also tiring sometimes all the constant new products, it makes you feel like buying new stuff all the time which we might not need 😅
So many of us don’t really need any more makeup, but to just enjoy what we have already. Seriously. I like this palette, several one and done shadows. Love this copper-peach lid shade on you. Your vids are so great.
YES! This is an Alicia tutorial that- despite all the money I've spent to buy everything you use - where you teach us how to move the brush and I just loved how you explained everything - THAT'S why you're my girl. So happy with this one - maybe you just don't have enough time to spend to teach us on other days, but you hit it out of the park in this one
This palette is underrated and you’re the only one who gave the fair review/rank! Each shade can be a “one and done” eye look without needing anything else I’m not near professional but whenever i look at this palette i feel creative and i don’t exaggerate i have tons of ideas… and this is the experience, or let’s say the pleasing point about it! You can work it out from an “in your face look” to an everyday washed out look, mother pat is crazy even with the balance of cool and warm shades in this one… This palette was the first mothership i bought and then followed with mothership 1 and 8 along with blitz astral quads Each one is an experience, but no this is different for me 💕 I got it upon your recommendation, keep revisiting those unbeatable palettes, nobody does it like Pat 😭💕
I agree! Thank you for that 💕 The shades themselves are so impactful, but the approach is simplistic. This is truly the “jewel box” of the motherships. You pick a standout piece to wear for the day! Or mix them up as you like. And the textures make it so easy to just use one brush.
I absolutely love videos like this where you use what you have, because the things that you have I don’t always have so I like to see it. I would watch all videos grwm style because I’d love to get new ideas for looks with the eyeshadow palettes we both have. I love every video you post, you’re one of my top favorites!
I LOVE your revisiting palette videos. Especially the ND ones because they give me inspiration and ideas of what I could do with my palettes. Honestly, new stuff is all well and fine but using what we have type of videos are so much more helpful for the day to day. Please don’t ever stress!! (I know easier said than done 😣)
Thank you for this video!! I love people revisiting “old” makeup because not everyone has bought and used to death products when they launched. I’ve only recently bought me some Pat McGrath, and older content is fine, but I think it’s particularly great to see newer content to get opinions on how a product has aged and whether they can be used in new ways as trends change. Thank you lovely xoxo
It really is because the shadows are so beautiful that they stand on their own so well. And they blend so well, I can create gradation. I think my fusion + lotus brushes are the perfect set for my current product use…lots of creams and liquids. I appreciate using up what I have…I am being good on foundation and concealer … but need to stop with the bronzers, blushes and highlighters for now. Eyeshadow goes without saying…I am going to stop…and wait for next mothership 😉😎

@@aliciaarcher oh my days. I have a list. It’s mostly mashups of the motherships, Natasha, viseart petite or etendu and Suqqu quads, but it’s a lot of “wearable” or as I prefer “chill” looks mixing palettes. Although today was Tom Ford, Roen and Viseart. My fave is to use one of the darker warm Metallics in bronze (left side) on the outer V, one of the goldy/coppers from bronze or golds from gold in the middle and a viseart shimmer in the inner. All metallic but the viseart shimmer chills it out and the brown or red metallic on the outer makes it shifty. Work appropriate, dimensional, but no texture and not too much.
Thank you for doing these videos, I love that you give us great ideas and inspiration to use an older palette. I always look for new ideas and looks to recreate with palettes in my collection. I also feel like Decadence is such an underrated palette.

I still buy makeup on Mercari and I enjoy my makeup also I and we who love you love the fact that you go back to older palettes it gives us inspiration!!
I absolutely love all your tutorials! Would you consider recording a ranking video on your more challenging pallets or products to use. Either because of color story, formula etc. And reasons why.
Yes, it is a good idea to revisit old palettes especially expensive ones like Pat or Natasha Denona. I have lots of those along with a few of huda and dose of colors. I really do not feel like buying anymore.
Just last week i busted out my decadence palette and did three shades one look so nice to see you doing it too and showing ppl it can work as a stand alone pallette 😀 i love watching you work with Pat McGrath pallettes
Would you consider doing some of the tag videos? For example top 3 for each makeup category, top 5 of one brand, mid year favorites. I love watching that type of content.
I love this video. Shop your stash. It does not always have to be new stuff. New looks with existing pallets, etc., is welcomed! You always make good quality videos. Love the blue blood look. I would love a budget video or a q & a video. See ya!
I love that your using what you have. I need to do that more often. I try not to but any more palettes. But Pat is an exception. I would feel comfortable using preowned item. Blessings my friend XOXOXOXOXOOXOX
Blue Blood is one my absolute favorite shades from PML...I always get compliments on my makeup when I use it 💜 I have almost all of the PML eye palettes...... I would be interested in your ideas about which ones go with which seasons. I have trouble using some during summer and vice versa.
Recently I’d gone through your PM vids and bought my first Mothership palette V 💞 I’m all for this! I have students who love beauty but don’t have much, so I cleaned up some colourpop and Milani palettes with alcohol and they were very happy. So, if you wanted to, I’m sure you have friends who’d be willing to take some things off your hands 😘
Thank you for this 💕💗💕💗💕💗I adore that palette so much, but was stumped. I try to branch out from my safety zone of neutrals. The combos you did are perfect! The blue blended into the reddish tone was gorgeous 😍 Solid content as always. If you could, maybe Bronze Seduction or Midnight Sun from PMG next💜💜💜💜💜💜
I love seeing older products revisited! Also, doing giveaways or donating makeup would probably work still. if people are interested they can sign up and if you have stuff left over, just donate it to a shelter
This video is great. I think it’s great to revisit older products especially with new techniques or looks. I’m sure you could create endless content with just that. Oh and the Huda foundation stick mixed with the Auric looks beautiful. I personally would love to hear more about any trips you’ve taken and about your fitness practices.
Thank you so much! Yes, I found that my technique/approach has changed, and sometimes want to discover a different creative angle with my ever evolving mindset 😅 And vlog coming soon!
Love throw back videos. One of the reasons I love ranking videos so much. We've been getting so many creams this spring/summer maybe ranking your favorite formulas.
Girl, you know hat I, for one, am happy to take a second-hand palette off your hands! We all know you're a clean person, anyway. Better to pass it along than to let it go to waste, imo. (And if you decide to let go of the Chanel Les Beiges palette from a couple of years ago, I was always so sad to have missed out on that one, hint hint!) I'm glad you're spending money on yourself and your fitness goals, so don't worry about not having new products. I really love to watch your tutorials and grwm of past releases, and will watch any video you drop.

I love that you are diving into palettes we already love. Can't go wrong with PML and ND... you did melt... suqqu... viseart... maybe themes? Like inspired by a song or album cover art or any art? I have been wanting to do more liner looks too because I feel they hold up better on sweaty summer days. 🤔

@@aliciaarcher Yay! Just so you know, I found your channel last year and have been following you ever since. And I have been going back and watching some of your older videos, that is how I know you don't have to break the bank by buying new things all of the time. Be encouraged, we're just glad that you choose to share and upload! It's a lot of work :-)
This is exactly the type of tutorials I love. Reviews are ok but going back to older palettes is great.
Wonderful! I’ll be pushing full throttle on older palettes 🙆🏽♀️
Thank you for revisiting this palette Alicia. I’ve never used it because I found it intimidating. Now you’ve given me a starting point. Thank you.
I love when you revisit makeup pallette
I still buy makeup on Mercari and I enjoy my makeup also I and we who love you love the fact that you go back to older palettes it gives us inspiration!!
I absolutely love all your tutorials! Would you consider recording a ranking video on your more challenging pallets or products to use. Either because of color story, formula etc. And reasons why.
Yes! Thank you for suggesting, Melissa!
Yessss this video! Keep the Pat videos coming😍
P.s has anyone seen all the inspiration posts on Pats Instagram?! Praying for a new mothership 🙏🏻😳🙏🏻
They have been STELLAR!!! Love Pat’s IG inspo!
Take care Alicia ~
Its really a hard time 4 all of us !
God bless !
I love the way you describe the eye shadow application and how to blend and whatnot--so helpful! Thank you!
Thank you, Mina 😍
I would love a summertime makeup tutorial or a no makeup look!
Yay thanks for this ! I really need to try this beauty still sitting in my drawer 🧡❤️💚
It misses you! 🤣
Lol 😆 I can’t wait to get home and let her out then 🥳
100% agree!
Ahhhh I love it when you dive back in to your eyeshadow palettes!! Your videos make my day 🥰🥰
Thank you for that, Melissa!! 🥰
What a happy coincidence! Love this one!
See ya!
Thank you so much!!
Yes! I love this, revisiting old palettes, especially PAT palettes!! ♥️♥️
Love your GRWM videos, and it’s wonderful that you are using your ‘older’ makeup 🤓
Thank you so much! I have a bunch of favs that I truly love using!
Ohhhh yeah.. Alicia and a revisit a mothership is always right!💜✨
Always and forever!! 💕🙆🏽♀️💕
I love that your using what you have. I need to do that more often. I try not to but any more palettes. But Pat is an exception. I would feel comfortable using preowned item. Blessings my friend XOXOXOXOXOOXOX
Thank you, Sharon! 🥰
I love that you are revisiting a PMG palettes! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you! I always have so much fun!
I LOVE your reviewes so much! And the looks you create are STUHNNING 😍😍😍 Hugs from eeeettaleee 😄🥰🥰🥰🤗🤗🤗♥️♥️♥️
Thank you so join for watching!!
Alicia, I will always welcome revisiting older palettes!
Hooray! Thank you, Maria 🥰
Blue Blood is one my absolute favorite shades from PML...I always get compliments on my makeup when I use it 💜
I have almost all of the PML eye palettes...... I would be interested in your ideas about which ones go with which seasons. I have trouble using some during summer and vice versa.
That’s a great idea! Thank you, Amy 🥰
Yes, that’s a great idea! I will definitely go through my stash and see what I can giveaway.
@@aliciaarcher 💜
I’m taking this palette out this week. Love it…the silver is amazing, tho not for everyday 🤩
Oh yes! Sterling Silver is like going to the disco, but sometimes that’s the mood of the day! 🤩
Yes! Especially with cream blushes 🥴
Just used this for the first time today after seeing your tutorial. Got complimented on my eyelook! Thank u!
So happy you did this, can’t wait to get home, cozy up on the couch and watch!! 🤗
Yahooo! Thank you, Shelley 🥰
I have this palette and yes I'm a bit overwhelmed/intimidated by it. Thanks for doing this tutorial! I'd welcome another one!!!
Fantastic! I’ll be happy to do one!
Thank you, Janelle! I really appreciate that, and I definitely have to go through everything. Because I forgot what I have, and that’s a problem 😅
@@aliciaarcher never doubt that you don't have to buy new makeup all the time for us to luhrv you and your content! You're so great at makeup looks. I think many of us watch more for your beautiful looks than for 1st impressions. 💞
This is perfect! I just got my Lotus set yesterday and I struggle to find ways to use my Decadence palette. I love videos revisiting makeup!
I need to use Decadence more. Absolutely beautiful! 🥰
Thanks for this video! I purchased this palette during one of the PML sales and haven’t used it yet. I’m here for looks with older palettes.
Amazing! You will love it!!
I love that you are diving into palettes we already love. Can't go wrong with PML and ND... you did melt... suqqu... viseart... maybe themes? Like inspired by a song or album cover art or any art?
I have been wanting to do more liner looks too because I feel they hold up better on sweaty summer days.
🤔
I need to get back into Viseart: because they have some moments! And yes to the liner: the no budge life is crucial ☀️
@@aliciaarcher I took my son to Mitsuwa Market Saturday and it was a liner and mascara only day. It worked out perfectly. I know graphic liner was trending but I didn't get into it at the time.
Thank you so much. We have all these pallets and use them a few times then jump to the next new toy!!! Shame on us! I loved your tutorial and you gave me an eye look that I will use tomorrow. Awesome!!!!! Always love your tutorials 💜👍🏻👍🏻💜💜💜 K
I finally bit the bullet and bought this palette. Thanks to your video, I know how to work a few of the shadows. They are very pigmented and soft. I thought the Decadence palette was no longer available..I found it on Pat's website. Great look on both your eyes. It didn't even look hard. Thanks Alicia
Amazing! Let me know how it goes 🙆🏽♀️
@@aliciaarcher I sure will!!
🌹Great Video as always🌹
Lovely thumbnail tho

Have a MarvelouS Productive Week

Thank you, Dee!!
🥰Your Welcome🥰
Keep Doing your Thing
I am here for you…not the products. ❤️🔥
Also, I am so down for some retro reviews…I have a ton of palettes from the last 3 years and I’d love new perspective on it from you! I have also been so bla about new releases for the last 3 months.
YES! Decadence is my first PML love
😍😍😍
This is next on my list from Mother and this video is just gonna make me buy it now instead of waiting for the sale towards the end of the year!
Maybe a sale will come sooner! I felt like she had a bunch 😅
@@aliciaarcher I did just pick up some things in the summer sale and am trying to pace myself (and save room in my budget for the new release she is teasing!!) but you're such an enabler lol
I’m so happy you filmed this! I’ve been waiting for more Pat McGrath tutorials! I bought the Decadence palette when it was on super sale and I’m so intimidated by it! You make it look so easy to use! Thank you!
I bought decadence for, I think, $88 during a PMGL sale. It's stunning. Have only worn once so far, to a gala event via Zoom 😣 You've inspired me to dip into it more, even for non-gala wear! ✨✨✨
