19:12 😳 See this is why you’re the PML authority. I would never have thought to apply Blitz Flame over Disobedient like that with those light brush strokes, and I’ve never seen anyone else do it. It totally changed the shade and it’s freaking stunning! It makes it so much more wearable for every day. Bravo 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Hooray! Thank you, Britt! When I watch Pat’s IG, I feel a lot of artists layer the colors in a way that look so seamless, and that inspired me to think outside the box more when it comes to the Blitz shades.
Alicia ma'am, are you a mind reader 🤣 I just got this palette last week and have basically watched every video on it. I'm so happy you're revisiting PML palettes. PML is the content that keeps on giving, literally. You could make 10 videos on one mothership and we won't get tired.
I think this is the best video I've ever seen on PML. The tips and different ideas on how to get the most out of these shades are brilliant. I can't wait for you to cover all the other palettes. Thank you so much xxx
Thank you for the new videos. I went Pat crazy during her sale. I went from having none of her pallets to owning 8 Mothership pallets. I am having fun with them.
I love this so much. Bronze seduction was my first mothership, and I love this new look at it. I’m going to rewatch this and play with it again. Also, I *love* this whole series because it encourages going back into our collections and rediscovering items instead of just buying buying buying. A+!
If there was a PhD in PMG palettes, you would have it Alicia 😍 i love these videos where you revisit these older palettes and do a deep dive, please keep them coming!!!!
I love that you’re revisiting these. You were dead right in your last video - these are way too damn expensive to only use for special occasion. I’m feeling super inspired now. I’m pale as paper and one of my fave go-to looks is to spend some time using just a little of Xtreme Aubergine in the outer corner and working it into my crease with gradually larger brushes so it looks more mid-toned by the time it gets to the crease and not so dark. Then I use the Skinshow shade in the inner corner and in the lid. I love how much dimension I can get in just that one matte shade.
I am so grateful for you, Alicia. I am new to Pat McGrath and only have 3 Mothership palettes. Without your tutorials, I would not know what to do with any of them. Please keep videos like these coming. They are so helpful! Thank you so much for your contribution to the beauty space. 😊
I have to say I Love ALL of your pat mcgrath content. I’ve used your videos when picking out my motherships and I’m up to 6 of them. These are not only helpful but reminds you that you need to use these expensive items and the variety of ways it can be done. Thank you for being that guide!❤️
I can't believe I got a mention lol! I feel honored! Great video. Edit to say I love, love, love the last two looks and I will be copying them. I also love that you seem to have a new appreciation for this palette.
For an autumn wedding, I did the red on the outer 2/3 and then tacked down the astral gold with glitter glue in the inner third and inner corner. Quite the ka-pow look. I loved your look using the red dusted over the deep brown. Definitely my vibe.
I like this new series of going back into older PMG pallets. Maybe consider doing similar series for some of your other favorite pallets. Every video doesn’t need to be about the latest drop. I really enjoy this.
This is amazing! Thank you for showing us multiple ways to use the palette. I'm not very good with eyeshadow, mostly do a light matte, dark matte on outer corner, and a lid shade on top. I got this mothership for Christmas and felt like it was wasted on me, I haven't even touched the flame shade lol This was super helpful! I'm going to try to recreate some of these for sure.
Thanks Alicia….I own eight mothership palettes, most of the six pan palettes, as well as most of her quads. I come back to your PML playlist again and again. I usually rotate a palette each week, so nothing just sits in the drawer. I am looking forward to this dive back in… this is a everyday palette for me… I wear lots of astral shades over mattes as a day look.
I absolutely love your PML videos. I love your explanations and how you “geek” out and just provide us with so much information on the shadows, the formulas, the best techniques, best brushes to use. I just love it all and I am here for it! I can’t wait to watch all of these videos! I love the mash up videos too! Excellent work Alicia! ❤️🤎❤️
I just received this palette and was going to return it because it looks a little different in person and it overwhelmed me. But I think this video will help me figure out how to use it. Thank you Alicia!!!
I’m ALLLLL for this series Alicia! Love Pat’s formula and own a majority of her palettes except decadence, sublime, and rose II. Looking forward to which palette you show us next!
I hope mama Pat shares these series and you get more subscribers, because on top of you being so deserving of more recognition, these tutorials have such a great quality to them! The looks are amazing and your way to explain everything just makes the whole packaging! You're amazing, Alicia! Love u!
Thank you so much for this in-depth tutorial of the bronze seduction palette!! I just got it recently and have been on a binge looking for good tutorials so this was absolutely perfect and so well explained!!
I love that you do these tutorials on older palettes. It reminds me to pull out things I love. I'm the same complexion as you (in fact when trying new complexion products I usually google you and that product to pick my shade, lol) and I do use this palette on the everyday.
I use a silicone "brush" for my Pat special shades... I don't like to use my fingers and I don't like the way my eyeshadow (for any brand) looks with a wet brush. The skin on my eyelids just doesn't do well with water/spray mixing. The silicone brush is the best for me, and I use it with any special shade/metallic shade etc. Looks amazing! I'm super excited by this se4ries, I will be tuning in! Feel free to do even more looks etc. I enjoy watching how other use/mix their PML eyeshadows. Thank You!
Suggestion: could you add a flash photo test to some/all of the looks? Some of the shadows reach their full potential under flash lighting and those are the shades I feel people gravitate towards moreso for evening looks anyway - when they're going out and taking pictures in dim or overhead lighting. I feel like it's hard to tell what her special formula can do in broad daylight. As always, your video was brilliant - super detailed and full of passion for what you do and that's more beautiful to me than any palette💕💜 thank you!
Love that you're doing tutorials using products you already own. Such a win-win for you and for followers. I'd love to hear about fude brushes from older collections during your tutorials as well. I know they are all still in amazing shape. 🙂 Thanks again, Alicia! 🦋🧡🦋
40min video for PML bronze seduction??? Yes please!!! This is why you're the expert! I bought this as my first PML purchase (thanks to you!) But as you said in the beginning it can be difficult to make it daily friendly but some of your looks did it! I am definitely Bringing this one out again to try out these looks and get more use out of this palette. As always thanks for the inspiration!
These are the kind of videos I LIVE for. I have this palette and have neglected the hell out of it because the color story felt overwhelmingly “dressy” and this video gave me seceral ideas of how to use it for more daily looks (and also how to begin tackling that intimidating red). I can’t wait to see what else you do with this series!
Thank you so much, Alicia, for doing these Pat McGrath tutorials!!! I have most of them and they're absolutely beautiful - but SCARY to figure out how to use them without someone to inspire me. You are definitely my inspiration with these as well as many other high-end brands because you explain everything to perfection! I know I will truly enjoy these tutorials ❤❤❤
You always make me smile. I truly enjoy your videos. Not to mention you are so very talented and so so knowledgeable. I'll repeat it, I really enjoy you . Thank you, and have a most wonderful day. 😄👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🤗
its time for mother to release bronze seduction 2....we truely need it!!! also I see she is promoting this palette more....dont know if its in the works...putting it out there in the universe :)
This is the only palette from PAT that I own and I love It for so many reasons... But this new techniques are calling my name! You are the queen Alicia 💓 I personally use the astral shades on top of any other shadow from any other palette when I want THE SHABLAM on my look 🤣
Hello Alicia, I am so happy you are revisiting Pat's palettes they are so pricy that we really need to use them mre often. My technique to use my makeup collection is to use a brand a week, I do have several items from the same brand and this way I can use my items and focus on fewer products a week. Since I have all the motherships and almost all of the quads and six pans I need to do this in order to use them up and make sure I discover new looks. Thank you so much for your commitment and revising these amazing products.
Thank you Alicia, another great video. I own this palette but haven’t used it so much in comparison to other motherships. I like how you applied the red shade over a matte shadow to give a more earthy look.
Love this workshop!!! You are very talented!!! Love your art! Hope you could do this with all the motherships! Could you please do this as well with all of Natasha Denona palettes? 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
I have so many expensive brushes, but I confess I love using a long-handled eyeshadow sponge-tipped applicator (from Amazon), usually dampened, to apply Pat’s special shades and shimmers. I’m clumsy with my fingers, and I appreciate how precise I can get with it. 😊
Hi Alicia! New subscriber here! I am absolutely loving this series as this year I just took the plunge into getting a few PML palettes and contemplating to buy more (on sale ofcourse) Even though you're a great fan but your reviews are not biased! Loved that definitely. Will be binge watching all your previous and coming videos!
Finally caved and bought Bronze Seduction and Divine Rose 1, as well as the 2 holiday quints… I cannot WAIT!! I currently only have huetopian dream, and Midnight sun is tucked away in my closet for Christmas (torture). Thank you for your hard work, I can’t wait to play!!! ❤😊
I think sometimes also we get so stuck on only using the one palette and for something like pat mcgrath it gets harder to do every day looks for the office and stuff. But then I saw another TH-camr (can't remember who now) who would use her bronzer or blush in the crease and very lightly use pat's matte or shimmer or metallic shades on the lid and I was amazed how every day and approachable the looks were. You don't have to combine a bunch of shades and get all stressed out .. like I literally can't buy a mothership palette because I get in my head that I have to use every shade go make it worth it and then I just look like I'm going to the club when really I am just going into the office lol but anyhow thats it for my rant. Love your videos ❤️
I wish I could like this more than once 🥰I love these kinds of videos most of all I think, because they almost give me permission to play around, experiment, and just have fun 💖💚
Alicia, this was so inspiring. I love this palette, but haven’t used it enough to come up with these great combos. They are all gorgeous. I love how you bravely combine colors and textures. One look that I loved from this palette was created by Alexandra Anele in her video “a very glam goth makeup tutorial for yousss”. Definitely not a work look, but just shows how versatile this palette can be. I eagerly await your next one. Thanks SO much! ❤️
Super excited to see the revamped series - love the idea, and can't wait for next installment. Those videos inspire me to pick up my pallettes. for my everyday look I take Entrapment in my outer V and crease, and Fire Opal all over the lid - my lids look wet without any gloss on them! 😀
I love that you’re doing this series Alicia! I also have neglected this palette but it’s because I usually gravitate to cool tones and this palette is ultra warm. I definitely find it suitable for all year round! I love warm shades the most in the summer when I’m tan and it transitions beautifully into fall and it is very much appropriate for the holidays as well! The rose gold, astral gold and VR fire opal can also be gorgeous spring shades ✨💕 I paired this palette with Disrupt from Auric and it was such a dream 😍
@@aliciaarcher OMG YES you have to!!!! I’ve had such a blast pairing all of my Smoke Reflects with different Mothership palettes 😍 Temper and Defiance would be bombbb with Mothership 5 also
❤ Thank you for the revamp! It inspires me to pull out my mothership 5 instead of buying new stuff! ❤ My favorite thus far to wear is entrapment in the crease, extreme aubergine outer corner, rose gold inner lid, fire opal in center, astral luna very inner corner (creates a beautiful rainbow halo).
I’m loving these videos! I just bought a Pat McGrath palette and I love to see different combinations with the shadows! Can you do Pat McGrath Rose Divine 2 palette?
This is the only Mothership palette I own and I’m so excited to try out some of these looks! There are a couple shades that I don’t really use and this video inspired me to use them. My favorite look is aubergine in the outer corner, the red layered over that and on the outer half, then fire Opal in the inner corner blended onto the red. It’s the most magical holiday look and I love it.
FYI I can't even tell when you put on the ring light. I even went back to look for it. Couldn't tell. I LOVE this video and will be watching the whole series! I really treasure your PMG videos! Thank you! XOXO Heidi
STOP IT! I’m wearing this today. Pulled it out because I haven’t given it any love and STILL don’t get the hype. It’s still my least favorite of the 8 Motherships I have. I needed this video this morning but I’ll still sit & watch because…it’s Alicia & Pat time! 💜
🤣💕 Thank you!! Even after this video, it’s still ranked the same for me. However, I have broadened my expectations and copped a few favs from this tutorial 🤪
I really like watching your tutorials - they’re the best. I’m looking forward to this series continuing. I’d also like to see a series like this for ND palettes.
Thank you for doing these videos,I'm excited to use my motherships again, they are such amazing palettes,my favorite is still subversive 🥰 and your saving me money 🤣 I don't need new palettes
I’ve been waiting for these videos. AMAZING video per usual! Very helpful and informative but I would expect nothing less. Can’t wait for the rest. I have to say I haven’t used this palette in quite a long time but now I think I’m gonna have to pull it out for sure. Love how you used blitz flame on top of disobedient. Loved that look so much. Would have never thought to do that. Every look has been great but I love the tip to get more use out of blitz flame. That one gets more neglected for sure. Also loving the last look so so much!
19:12 😳 See this is why you’re the PML authority. I would never have thought to apply Blitz Flame over Disobedient like that with those light brush strokes, and I’ve never seen anyone else do it. Same! Blitz Flame gets the most neglected and now I’m excited to try that look and not waste that shade.

Super excited to see the revamped series - love the idea, and can't wait for next installment. Those videos inspire me to pick up my pallettes. for my everyday look I take Entrapment in my outer V and crease, and Fire Opal all over the lid - my lids look wet without any gloss on them! 😀
Now i wanna see what the sparkly green pink reflect looks like over a lid packed with aubergine 🤩
I love videos that revisit PML. Just saying...
Thank you for these vids!
This has inspired me so much 😍 gonna dedicate a week to this palette
I love the looks you created ❤️ I’m inspired to use my bronze seduction palette, and use it in ways I didn’t think of before.
WUUUUUT! Thank you for sharing, Lauren! I definitely need to use the olive Auric shade with Midnight Sun’s “Wicked Envy”!
@@aliciaarcher OMG YES you have to!!!! I’ve had such a blast pairing all of my Smoke Reflects with different Mothership palettes 😍 Temper and Defiance would be bombbb with Mothership 5 also
I’ve had this palette for about a year and never used blitz flame…now I feel like I can make it work!
I’m so happy to hear that! I was excited to discover how layering it can make it more user friendly!
Oooooooh……..I’ve had this palette on my wish list forever. Thanks for sharing this.
Ahhhhh the randomness…..
I love these videos
❤ Thank you for the revamp! It inspires me to pull out my mothership 5 instead of buying new stuff! ❤ My favorite thus far to wear is entrapment in the crease, extreme aubergine outer corner, rose gold inner lid, fire opal in center, astral luna very inner corner (creates a beautiful rainbow halo).
I’m loving these videos! I just bought a Pat McGrath palette and I love to see different combinations with the shadows! Can you do Pat McGrath Rose Divine 2 palette?
Love the premise of redoing this series! Can’t wait for a Natasha Denona one too
This is the only Mothership palette I own and I’m so excited to try out some of these looks! There are a couple shades that I don’t really use and this video inspired me to use them. My favorite look is aubergine in the outer corner, the red layered over that and on the outer half, then fire Opal in the inner corner blended onto the red. It’s the most magical holiday look and I love it.
This is my favvvvvvv PALETTE ! the special shades are the freaking best in it
Thank you so much for doing these pallettes again. I had absolutely no interest in this one ... until this video. LOL now I need it.
Beautiful looks! I can’t wait for midnight sun and huetopian. Will you do this with the holiday palettes as well?
FYI I can't even tell when you put on the ring light. I even went back to look for it. Couldn't tell. I LOVE this video and will be watching the whole series! I really treasure your PMG videos! Thank you! XOXO Heidi
Thank you so much. I love the potential for this series. I’ve pulled out this palette to try the every day looks and start using this more.
Love this video! Love that you are bringing back a palette that we own. And your ideas are fabulous! Im going to try it tomorrow.
Love it so much! Inspiring. Can't wait for another video using one pmg palette I own.
Thank you for watching!! I appreciate it!
Alicia, this was SO helpful 🙏. Really need to use my Pat McGraths on the daily more than I have been & I will now!
I use your tutorials ALL THE TIME and am always so happy with my eyeshadow looks!! Thank you for doing these!!❤️❤️❤️
Wonderful video…. Keep ‘Em coming …. No one does PML videos like you!
Yessss for revamp series 👏 👏 👏
I’ve been waiting for these videos. AMAZING video per usual! Very helpful and informative but I would expect nothing less. Can’t wait for the rest. I have to say I haven’t used this palette in quite a long time but now I think I’m gonna have to pull it out for sure. Love how you used blitz flame on top of disobedient. Loved that look so much. Would have never thought to do that. Every look has been great but I love the tip to get more use out of blitz flame. That one gets more neglected for sure. Also loving the last look so so much!
your left eye is stunning!
