Sorry for the delay in responding to your question. When you use the two-way Elite on the front passenger seat, the tether straps should be crossed over underneath the passenger seat. This is not necessary when the rear passenger seat is used. I hope this is clear? In-Car Safety Centre
Can the seat be used in the more upright position in the front? And do you know why it makes a difference if the straps are crossed if the passenger seat behind is in use or not? Should it be changed each time someone is in the passenger seat or not?
