I'm so thankful that you have included diversity. This is an important factor that I am considering being so interested in going to school in Boston. I am of Hispanic and Brazilian descent and have been submerged in many learning environments that embrace many different ethnic backgrounds. I will continue to research this aspect more in the future!

Loved your video! I'm also from Philly! I know you said that you have not done your first co-op yet, but do people tend to keep their social life during co-op? Also, you said that there are parties at other schools, but are they many parties at Northeastern? Sorry if these are silly! But I would feel more comfortable at a college with similar social life to my high school!

Hi! Yea so I have a lot of friends that have been on co-op and they are definitely able to maintain there social life, especially if they’re co-oping in Boston. As for parties, freshman year there aren’t really that many Northeastern parties, at least not in my experience but I still was able to party a lot! So it’s definitely an option if you want it!
hi Im thinking of applying to Northeastern and i'm from the UK would you say there's a big international population? Esp from UK and other European countries?

Yes! I don’t know the exact stats but it definitely feels like almost half of the student body is international. The community is pretty diverse in terms of countries that people are from!
I really want to attend this school but the cons you already said like price and diversity really gets my hopes up. Is northeastern like NYU where typically only the rich and very poor are able to attend financially or does the financial aid seem more fair here? Also you talked about diversity so do you think that affects your life more than you thought it would, asking bc I’m also black. Also do you have any tips on how to get in? I looked at the acceptance rate and it was around 18% for 2019 but the school is big too so I am just wondering how competitive academically and extracurricular-wise I have to be to get in.

Hi! Ok im gonna try to answer this as best as I can, I'm not sure what everyone gets financially but I know that I have friends from very diverse backgrounds so not just rich or poor. As for the diversity it was a shock at first but there is a black community on campus that really helped with the transition. As for tips to get in I would just say, work hard in highschool, try to get good test scores, and have a couple of extracurriculars under your belt. If you have any more questions or need me to clarify, you can dm me on ig and i'd be happy to answer more!
Hi I'm Nigerian and you seem to be Nigerian as well (correct me if I'm wrong) could I connect with you via zoom maybe through email? I would love to have a one on one conversation about northeastern with someone that has experienced it
There is no “Chicago Northeastern.” There is Northwestern, which is in the northern suburbs of Chicago, Northeastern Illinois University, which is also in the Chicago suburbs, and then there is Northeastern University in Boston

Im going to dorm how will I get my freinds that dont attend in /
How's making friends there? I saw some other stuff on NEU on yt and they say it's pretty rough cuz half of the campus is gone doing co-ops.
Hey! Thanks for your question, I answered it in my newest video 💗
Thank you so much for this! As a black student, do you feel isolated or ostracized ?
Do you know anyone from Northeastern who is apart of NROTC through Boston University?
Do you get payed for co-cops?
Most are payed, but there are a handful that aren’t, it really depends on the field and the specific company!
Do you get paid (a reasonable wage) in co-op?
Totally depends on your major and the company you end up at! Some pay minimum wage or nothing at all, but others pay super well!
Is this Chicago Northeastern?
Nope
