Crazy how CS didn't use to have markers on teammates, now in CS:GO they do, and not having them makes it so confusing to whether a player is an enemy or not haha.
Before, the skins were static on each map. Now that people can customize how they look, the teammate markers are necessary. If I could turn all the custom skins off and turn off team markers, I would do it
technically armor+helmet can save you from a grenade blast at 1 hp if it's just at the very edge of the blast radius, nicking off 1 armor point only in place of the 1 hp it would do without armor. did he have that in mind? probably not, but it's an interesting thing to note

Not a particularly good choice, as I:S is such an easy game that WarOwl would do better than average from the beginning. He wouldnt need to get good, as he would already be good. I:S is so forgiving nowadays, that it wouldnt even take long for him to learn the maps etc as its so easy to stay alive. He is at the level in CSGO that requires at the least good mechanical skills (in aiming, for example) and good hand-eye coordination. In I:S these skills matter less than in CSGO as the skill curve is not nearly as tall nor steep. You can just run n gun in I:S very easily, the running speed, the ability to survive so many shots and the very minimal recoil have castrated the game. Its way worse than the original mod or SA Insurgency. The game has been castrated and made easier, tweaked to appease the console audience, its less and less of an Insurgency game since the Beta anyway, its a shadow of what it couldve been. Now its just a glorified COD clone with childish skins, coop against bad AI and a mediocre modding community. Its also slowly dying, the devs might make it F2P to keep milking the playerbase, but that will actually fasten the decline of the game as the ridiculous skins will get even worse. Notice WarOwls comment about games that need a HC mode and think how I:S fits in that kind of mindset.
@@p4nnus true, hadn't thought about that yet. But still, shooting the hardcore bots in a hardcore mod with an ak74n is pretty darn amazing,but yes, something most people with a bit of patience can do

Oh, and regarding the subject, WarOwl was paid to do a video on Sandstorm ; and he did play it. And that was the only time he played that game. I don't think he liked it, otherwise he would have seen a video from that game, from time to time.

Opera GX is actually pretty cool, I love that it plays ambient music while using the browser if there's no other noises going on. Like right now the video is paused as I type this, and a little melody is playing right now.
Suggestions for content? Warowl plays a non-competitve video game for the first time. That would be interesting. Or warowl plays Arma 3 or Squad to use his marine training * warowl pause* in a video game
Hardcore mode is basically real life. You can't see how many enemies are left, you get killed with one bullet and you have no radio feedback from your teammates.
Idea for a better hardcore? Same stuff you’ve got with a few exceptions. No one hit kill, make the guns do double damage. Allows for more weapons and strats. For example restrict the high teir weapons. So no scoped ARs, no auto shotguns, no sniper rifles, no R8 and no desert eagle, no Tec-9 and duellies, no p-90, you get the drift. No OP weapons. Try to do it on hostage rescue as well, this game mode looks like it would be really intense for the map Militia or Office
Hardcore mode ++ : -No HUD - No Killfeed -Proximity Chat ( aside from one Shotcaller who can hear all teammates) --> he needs to coordinate teammates that are further away from the group +Increase Time to kill
NGL i think Warowl got himself an editor cuz this is obviously different I just realized that this may mean that its a poorly edited frag movie cuz of the hud to some ppl but i didnt mean that
nope, I did everything myself, even the thumbnail. I am trying to improve my editing style to not rely so much on the replay footage so that I can still make good videos when I transition to other games that don't have a replay system.
I could imagine the next thing to play is the same Hardcore mode, but Shotguns only with NO Crosshairs but in different maps, maps with tight corridors.
I took the backdrop from DOOM Eternal, blurred it a bit, adjusted the colors a bit. The CT is one of the Agent Skins, I took a ton of time to make sure his helmet was still transparent, changed the white balance and shadows to make him look like he was in the DOOM backdrop, then added an orange glow behind him.
This would work with slight tweaking to maps and less but not 1 health and no HUD and no mic if dead. Makes the perfect tactical police v terrorist simulator. Calling positions keeping track of the objective and coordinating attacks and breaches. It would be like Arma but for tactical counter terrorist operations.
I wonder if it's possible to randomise the character models (While keeping Ts and CTs still their respective types) so you end up with each player being a different faction (Pheonix + Separatist + Elite Crew + Anarchist + Balkan for example, vs a similarly diverse CT team). Essentially 'Joint-Ops'. Would be interesting to see how that changes things with everyone being a different colour, silhouette and such. I expect the most likely outcome though would be friendly fire, especially if you also had hardcore rules.
Csgo hardcore with ice physics, and Bhops. No perfect accuracy, but shooting while moving? So like you’ll have to do recoil control while flying through the air on someone else flying through the air? Idk if you can do that tho
The harcore mode not only say lover hp Its says about minimalized ur assistance (No maps, crosshair, no hud, only u and ur skill) So its no hc is 1tap mode.

I believe it used x sign for dont shoot.. or is that the old rainbow six game i played..
But it always had them shown on radar so you would at least know their general position.
