Throughout the round, players are given another frag grenade on some interval. Like, every 15 seconds... or randomly every 10 to 20 seconds. Not sure if that's possible but could be fun? @TheWarOwl Do 1 vs 5, where the solo player has noclip and a knife. He could pop out of the ground or a wall and stab opponents, however if timing is wrong the dude just gets riddled with bullets. Should probably extend the bomb timer to 1min and 15sec so that the nocliper doesn't get a huge advantage on T-side by instantly flying into the bombsite and planting.
Here's an idea. The entire team can only buy the same weapon and you can only share one mag across the entire team. So everyone buys a deagle, for instance. You have 7 rounds in the mag. If everyone on the team shoots one round, everyone only has two rounds left. It's called Soviet CSGO
And the Negev would once again be meta still. XM1014 would be meta too because a 100-round automatic shotgun will be spitting more damage up close than any other weapon up to medium range other than AWP. SMGs that allow run and gun like P90 will also be pretty insane because you're spitting bullets at such a fast rate twice the duration

was rewatching this and i had an idea: instead of removing reserve ammo, reduce the total ammo each weapon has, including the magazine size, by something like 50% (i have no idea what reduction would be ideally). so like the AK normally has a 30 round mag with 90 in reserve (might be wrong about the reserve ammo), so 120 bullets in total. 50% reduction would bring it to a 15 round mag with 45 in reserve, a total of 60 shots. thought this could be a fun take on adjusting how much ammo a player has. i expect having smaller magazines and a lower reserve pool wouldn't so much change the meta as much as it changes how you'd play, since you're reloading more often. although one thing that might change in the meta is that the M4s are at a larger disadvantage to the AK since it could make getting the followup shot on a helmet dink a bit more difficult in a high stakes scenario, resulting in a slightly more T sided gamemode. either way, would be really interesting
About that gun running bit: I actually have found great success in matchmaking when in last round, I'll buy an AWP and an AK and run them up to a good rotate point to be a double threat.
Well, that’s actually a pretty neat idea, instead of starter pistols, spawn with 5 random pistol crates from danger zone, 1 util crate(blue) each and 1 item crate(orange), then the same after round 1 with smg/shotgun boxes, then increasing every round, 1 experimental weapon drop added, one shotgun/smg crate removed so 5 rounds with increasing main weapons, 1 pistol only round and 1 second round weapons rounds. Seems like a fun idea!
You could revisit it with a twist: Every round you start with one mag, but hitting an enemy refunds 2 bullets. Optional: Dealing 20+ damage with a grenade will refund the grenade. Optional: hitting a friend refunds 2 bullets. By default the refunded bullets are directly in your gun. If it is too strong, the bullets are refunded to your reserve ammo.
"CS:GO but it's Gun Game", you can't buy new guns, if you get a kill you get better guns. For example: Glock -> P250 -> Tec-9 -> Deagle -> SMG -> normal riffle -> AWP/Auto Sniper. For every death you go one step back, two steps if you get knifed.
