man the DOOM lore is so fucking metal. Fucking dude stayed in hell to slaughter demons for all eternity. The demons weren't even butt hurt about and think the doom marine is a badass
At least he doesn't play on an Intel HD integrated graphics. Gets 40-50 fps, but the game looks like the doom slayer forgot his glasses (not really that bad, but you get the picture)
I hope that he figures out that when you use the Seek and Destroy with Berserk and effectively break the game.
***** When you use Berserk every attack you do is a Glory Kill so you would home in on enemies from a good distance away.
Noah West Very old comment but either way: My method for late game was Seek and Destroy + Armored Offensive + Rich Get Richer. Basically, as long as you keep your armor above 75, you can vaporize everything with Siege Mode or Turret Mode.

Id love to see you tackle another reboot from the 90s area of FPS, the Shadow Warrior reboot. You did mention someone gifted to you, right? So maybe that and the original could make some good streaming material.

After playing doom eternal I think the hooded figure is the one who gave the slayer his inhuman strength and speed. Basically the mark of the beast on his helmet is a permanent rune.
The shotgun in Halo: CE is excellent.

The spread of a shotgun is typically controlled by what kind of choke you use. The spread of most shotguns will still be within a foot at 50 yards.

That all changed with Half Life mods like Counter Strike and Firearms, which attempted to recreate realistic weaponry. In close quarters a real-life shotgun wins every time but that wasn't good enough for pants-shitting little boys who threw a tantrum every time they lost. Lord knows why anyone ever listened to them; it's hard to believe they had that much buying power. At any rate - every game from now on makes a shotgun act like a sawed-off loaded with birdshot. All those pubescent squealing ragelords ruined deathmatch forever, doing far more damage than any social justice warrior could ever do.
Stalker SOC was the first game I recall that accurately implemented good shotgun mechanics, with varying degrees of choke and slugs. The majority of video games treat shotguns as low choke coach guns, to provide players with a short range "panic button" weapon.
Not that it works in Doom, as having a close range weapon is expected given the tight arena combat. The BFG and Chainsaw are the literal "panic button" weapons.

True about Shotguns, on Quake 2 the Super Shotgun had small range but the normal Shotgun itself had a fantastic range.
I never played Quake 1, sounded kinda boring, I did play a heck of Quake 2, it was quite hillarious and fun game to play.
I always thought that one of the Cacodemon sounds sounded like the Pac-Man death sound.
I feel like he's gonna play through this whole game without discovering that the Q button exists

And then there was Battlefield 3's USAS-12 with explosive frag rounds. Oh the horrors. Couldn't sleep for weeks when people found that gun's ability out.

Captain6313 Battlefield 3 was an... interesting game when it came to guns. There were OP weapons like the USAS-12, and then there was weapons like the FAMAS with the worst iron sights in the game. Couldn't see anything through those sights.

it had tons of powerful weapons the FAMAS was good aside from the iron sights since its fire rate was so high. i called the pp2000 the "mini m60" because jesus its damage was so high and had a steady fire right that made me take on assault rifle users with ease. vanilla bf3 was amazing but the patches made some weapons near useless
Captain6313 The FAMAS was alright once you got a scope for it, but you're forced to use the awful iron sights at the start, Made it rather annoying.
