Make the most of your visit to Mount Rushmore National Memorial by going beyond the Grand View Terrace and exploring more of the park on the Presidential Trail Loop. The trail will take you to the base of the mountain beneath the four Presidents as well as to the oldest parts of the park like the Historic View Terrace and Sculptor's Studio. And it offers amazing views of the mountain carving you won't see anywhere else. The Presidential Trail is .6 miles long, has 422 stairs, and usually takes 30-45 minutes to complete.
