Love the sight of Class 50 triple header Hoover units ❤️what a fab sound they make ❤️❤️❤️Heavy metal Thunderstorm in Preston ❤️❤️❤️Great Thrash from English Electric that mede their Debut in 1967 ❤️
I'm getting to like sheds now I hated them for years but I'm getting to like them now! The 50s looked very clean and immaculate and they suit the gbrf livery last time I seen 50007 it was green and called sir Edward Elgar! Good video of these beasts and I think one of them has got issues with it's air brakes!!!
Train brake issue, I believe. The vacuum may not have been destroyed before the 66 left the train so they didn’t release. I may be wrong, but that’s what lots of people are saying was the case.
Empty stock move?......how come there was nobody gurning and flailing their arms about shouting dreadful beasts and oh my Lords?...there was a 50 move yesterday which was' top secret' as well
I don’t know why but just wait until Saturday (as off yet cannot confirm) but I hopefully will be catching 2x class 50s, steam railtour and the blue midland HST.
Second time I have seen this and it dont look any better. Different angle suggests even more its a break issue and NO ONE CHECKED !!!!!! . If one class 60 couldn't pull 12 carriages when it was BR the would never of been so many of them. '
Excellent, thank you Sir 😊
Crikey - there's some serious HP in that combination!
THAT'S the way to do it!!
I still think the old BR large logo livery suited the 50’s well. Nice to see them on their original stomping ground too.
Superb video. Really captured the sound of those thundering V16 engines.
I Love a good ol thrash, thanks for sharing

Awesome
That's some huge sized train 😍
I was on that tour, last day of the final GBRF charity tour. Carlisle to Paddington.
Pretty awesome, looks like some sort of brake issue with one of the locos initially

the middle 50 was wheel spinning like mad on the 2nd attempt
Not sure what's on with 50044, been sat in Kidderminster diesel shed for months
Three Locos back to base in one move, saves on movement costs.
7500 hp easy peasy.
Classic
Three powerful 50s to pull some coaches, never seen such overkill, anyone know why??

Because why not!! Created a massive stir when 2-3 rare heritage locos haul one train! Spectacular sight for all
Anyone need some power?
